NXT: Brodus Clay gets a shot at Adrian Neville

Brodus Clay has been breathing down the neck of NXT Champion Adrian Neville as of late. Tonight on WWE NXT, Clay gets a shot at Neville with a title match on the line! Plus, NXT Tag Team Champions The Ascension are in action! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE NXT!

We are on tape from Orlando, Fla. Tom Phillips, Byron Saxton, William Regal, and Renee Young have the call for this week.

Prior to his match, Aiden English graces us with a song.

Match One: Colin Cassady vs. Aiden English

Aiden English opens up brawling and landing some corner work. Colin Cassady looking to corner English to land some strikes, but English ducking out. Cassady able to land some blows of his own. High knee and a big boot put English down for a nearfall.

English moves to the apron and kicks Cassady away when he charges. English clubbing Cassady down for a nearfall of his own before working Cassady in the corner. Push kick to the head off a knee to the midsection nearly gets the wins for English.

Elbow to the collarbone as English continues to work Cassady down. Backdrop counter from Cassady is followed by a clothesline. English escapes Cassady and tries for a Director's Cut. Cassady again gets a hold of English, but English with a rollup and a handful of tights.

Winner by pinfall: Aiden English

Devin Taylor with Tyler Breeze. Breeze hands Taylor his iPhone, where she reads off a slew of introductions. Breeze declares that he really had nothing to say and wanted to give this episode a bit of "gorgeous."

Video package celebrates NXT Women's and WWE Divas Champion Paige.

Tom Phillips interview with Paige is shown from Raw. Paige says the win still hasn't completely sunk in. Paige describes the locker room as being happy for her after the win, but talking about her soon after. Paige believes AJ Lee got complacent and the Beautiful Fierce Females are her targets in NXT, looking forward to taking on all comers.

Match Two: Camacho vs. Oliver Grey

Lockup sees Camacho muscle Oliver Grey into the ropes. Rear waistlock into an arm drag gets Camacho down. Dropkick follows for Grey, but Camacho brawls Grey down soon after. Stomps in the corner put Grey down. Running powerslam puts Grey down for a nearfall.

Clubbing blows to the back connect for Camacho. Grey fights back with strikes and lands a running knee. Crossbody attempt by Grey is caught and Camacho hoists him up for a running Samoan Drop.

Winner by pinfall: Camacho

Devin Taylor with Bo Dallas. Dallas believes the Bolievers are all law-abiding citizens and that's why the "occupy NXT" movement failed last week. However, Dallas will never stop trying for the NXT Championship and he tells Taylor to never stop "Bolieving."

Match Three: The Ascension vs. Wesley Blake & Cal Bishop

Wesley Blake starting off with Konnor. Blake landing, but Konnor soon takes off with shoulder tackles that send Blake outside. Viktor in and he follows Blake out with alternating chops and European Uppercuts. Konnor brought back in and stomping Blake down.

Viktor in and he drops down in front of Blake to hit him with a clothesline. Konnor tagged in and Viktor knocks Cal Bishop off the apron. Blake lined up and hit with the Fall of Man.

Winners by pinfall: The Ascension

Devin Taylor with the Beautiful Fierce Females backstage. Sasha Banks is asked about her losses, but Charlotte cuts her off. Charlotte plans to take charge, starting next week when the two team up against Emma. Charlotte says it is time someone with more "Flair" steps up.

Prior to his match, CJ Parker has some microphone time. Parker says he stays up at night and thinks about a world without the NXT Universe. Parker says there would be no animals in zoos, no SUVs in the streets, and no litter. Parker asks the crowd how they can boo someone who wants to make a change.

Match Four: CJ Parker vs. The Great Khali

CJ Parker holds the peace signs in front of The Great Khali and tries a chop. Khali chopping Parker on the head and puts him in the corner for a chop. The crowd asks for one more and Khali delivers before sending Parker outside with a clothesline. Parker out on the ramp and Khali begins to take chase, but Parker with a kneebreaker on the top rope.

Parker back inside and stomping Khali down. Dropkick lands and Parker goes up top, only to be chopped out of the air. Big boot and clotheslines from Khali. Punjabi Plunge plants Parker into the mat.

Winner by pinfall: The Great Khali

Backstage interview with Emma. Emma is asked if she has found a tag partner, to which Emma is purposely vague before dancing off.

Sami Zayn interviewed backstage. Zayn says he is fine after his match with Corey Graves and doesn't fault the referee's call. Zayn is ready for next week, when he teams with WWE Tag Team Champions The Usos to battle Corey Graves and The Ascension. Graves made it personal and Zayn doesn't like him.

Match Five: Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger vs. Sawyer Fulton & Baron Corbin

Baron Corbin starts with Jason Jordan. Jordan gets the back of Corbin, but Corbin elbows out into a side headlock. Tye Dillinger tags in as Jordan as backed to the ropes and a double team sequence gets Dillinger a nearfall.

Corbin in the corner and he takes a chop from Dillinger. Dillinger and Corbin exchanging counters until Corbin blasts him with a lariat for a nearfall of his own. Corbin with a right hand before Sawyer Fulton is in. Neckbreaker and a series of splashes get Fulton a nearfall.

Dillinger with body shots, but Fulton backs him into his corner to bring in Corbin. Corbin with a delayed vertical suplex that nearly gets the win. Rear chinlock in for Corbin. Dillinger fights back, but slammed by Corbin. Up top, Corbin catches himself before coming down on the boot of Dillinger. Elbow drop misses for Corbin.

Jordan and Fulton in. Shoulder blocks for Fulton before he is backdropped. Corbin sent outside with a dropkick. Shoulder ram in the corner sees Jordan tag in Dillinger. Flapjack and DDT combo for the team connects.

Winners by pinfall: Jason Jordan & Tye Dillinger

Match Six: Adrian Neville vs. Brodus Clay

Brodus Clay immediately shoves Adrian Neville down, prompting the NXT Champion to battle back with jumping forearms. Both men exchanging shots in the corner. Neville slides under Clay to get a sleeper, but Clay snapmares him to the mat. Corner work from Clay connects. Neville floats over as he is sent into the corner and somersaults into the opposite corner to land a pushing kick. Tornado DDT from the top is caught by Clay and he lands a T-bone suplex for a nearfall.

Elbow drops from Clay connect and a heart punch put Neville down for a nearfall. Nervehold in for Clay, but Neville fighting back. Chopping blow to the chest from Clay connects. Clay with a seated splash on the chest of Neville that nearly gets the win.

Clay looks for the powerbomb, but Neville rolls into the corner. Clay beating Neville down and choking Neville with the boot. Snapmare from Clay into a trapezius hold. Neville again fights out. Powerbomb attempt from Clay is fought out of by Neville and he dropkicks the knee. Enzuigiri on the apron from Neville and he connects on a springboard forearm. Red Arrow attempt from Neville is rolled away from by Clay. Running headbutt lands for Clay.

Neville rolls to the ramp. Scoop slam onto the floor from Clay. Clay makes his way to the steps and tries a splash. Clay lands on the floor and both men down as the referee's count nears the end. Neville in.

Winner by countout: Adrian Neville

The show closes with NXT Champion Adrian Neville dropkicking Brodus Clay off the apron and standing on his guard in the ring.
