Main Event: Wyatts and Shield complete a trilogy

The Shield and The Wyatt Family have been on different paths since they last linked up. After a battle at Elimination Chamber and a rematch on the following Raw, The Shield have been successfully battling The Authority while The Wyatts dropped the ball in their spotlight match at WrestleMania XXX, as their patriarch fell short against John Cena. Tonight on WWE Main Event, the two trios collide again in a battle for momentum, Plus, Alexander Rusev looks to continue his dominance! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are LIVE from Lafayette, La. Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton have the call for this week.

Match One: The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family

Erick Rowan starting with Dean Ambrose. Ambrose smacks the mask off of Rowan and the two brawling to start. Ambrose tossed around, but he connects on an European Uppercut from the top. Seth Rollins brought inside and the double team gets a suplex for a nearfall.

Rowan taking control with punches and working Rollins in the corner. Whip into the corner sees Rowan run into the boot of Rollins. Rollins striking back with chops and punches. Ducking a clothesline, Rollins grabs a Koji Clutch on Rowan as all members of the teams stand in the ring and stare down as we break.

We return with Seth Rollins returning punches to Bray Wyatt. Gutbuster from Wyatt across the knee almost gets him the win. Rowan returns to the match with a stomp and grounding offense. Luke Harper with a cheap shot knee that leads to Rowan landing a backdrop suplex for a nearfall.

Harper in and he lands a body shot. Splash in the corner converts and Harper with an uppercut. Rollins flips as Harper tries to pull him out of the corner and hits a reverse STO. Roman Reigns in and taking every member of the Wyatts down. Flying clothesline from Reigns gets a corner splash. Dean Ambrose brought in and a double team flapjack and neckbreaker combo nearly gives The Shield the win.

Ambrose clears the Wyatts off the apron and turns around into a boot from Harper that nearly puts him out. Bray Wyatt in with a splash in the corner. Wyatt smacks the head of Ambrose before bringing Rowan in. Kick to the midesction followed by a scoop slam from Rowan. Fists of Rowan digging into the temples of Ambrose. Biting his way out, Ambrose walks into a sidewalk slam for a nearfall.

Harper returns and Ambrose being worked in the Wyatt corner. Fish hooks in the mouth of Ambrose from Harper. Rowan brought in as Ambrose just being struck down on the Wyatt side of the ring. Ambrose fighting back with strikes, but he is sent outside by Rowan as we break.

Luke Harper in with an elbow drop for a nearfall as we return. Gator roll into a rear chinlock for Harper. Ambrose fights up to his feet to land a jawbreaker. Strikes coming from Ambrose, but a kick is caught by Harper and he whips it to send Ambrose into the mat for a nearfall.

Wyatt returns to work some brawling offense briefly before bringing Rowan back in. Whip into the corner rebounds Ambrose out and Rowan locks in a bear hug. Shots landing for Rowan before Ambrose headbutts his way into a sleeper. Rowan drops back on him to get a nearfall. Harper in with a pair of European Uppercuts. A third connects, but Ambrose rebounds in between the ropes to land a clothesline.

Wyatt tags in to prevent the tag and stomps Ambrose down. Charging into the corner, Wyatt eats a boot. Ambrose poising himself, but he gets rattled again by an uppercut. Right hand from Wyatt sees him attempt a suplerplex. Ambrose fighting it and lands headbutts to send Wyatt down. Attack from the top runs right into a Wyatt uranage for a nearfall.

Brawl ensues and Reigns takes Rowan out to the floor with a clothesline. Harper soon meets him with a superkick that sends Reigns into the announce table. Suicide dive from Harper connects and sends Reigns behind the announce table. Inside, Wyatt looking for Sister Abigail. Ambrose turns it into a schoolboy for a nearfall.

DDT from Ambrose connects and tags are made to Rollins and Rowan. Rope pulled down on Rowan as he charges and Rollins with dropkicks to both Rowan and Harper on the apron. Suicide dive to Harper and a flip dive to Rowan. Rollins sent to the apron once the action goes back inside, but a flip lets him land a kick. Asai DDT connects, but Harper breaks the pin with a big boot. Powerbomb from Harper is broken by Ambrose, who is taken out by a Wyatt shoulder tackle. Superman Punch sends Wyatt out from Reigns. Inside, Black Out from Rollins after a dropkick from the legal Ambrose. Ambrose with the Dirty Deeds headlock driver.

Winners by pinfall: The Shield

Renee Young joins The Shield in the ring post-match. Seth Rollins says that win over the Wyatt Family was a long time coming. Rollins says no one can beat a united Shield. Dean Ambrose doubled up and can't speak. Ambrose says they will pass any test that steps up to them and The Authority figured that out. Rollins says that The Authority called them nameless and faceless. Roman Reigns asks the crowd if they know his name and then tells WWE COO Triple H his name before reminding him that he speared him. Rollins declares that the trio is prepared for war and to fight the injustice that is The Authority.

Video package hypes the debut of Adam Rose.

The announce team reviews the end of "The Streak" of The Undertaker at WrestleMania XXX at the hands of Brock Lesnar.

Prior to the match, Zeb Colter takes a shot at Cesaro. Colter believes Cesaro stabbed both him and Jack Swagger in the back. Colter declares "once a sneaky immigrant, always a sneaky immigrant." Colter claims Paul Heyman and Cesaro deserve each other before asking the crowd to join them in a "We the People" chant.

Match Two: Jack Swagger (w/Zeb Colter) vs. Dolph Ziggler

Dropkick opens the match for Dolph Ziggler, but he misses a splash in the corner. Swagger Bomb out of the corner connects for Jack Swagger and gets the first nearfall of the contest. Knees in the corner and a clothesline gets Swagger another nearfall.

Swagger stretching the chest of Ziggler. Back elbows get Ziggler out of the hold and he pulls the rope down on Swagger as he sends him out. Crossbody inside from Ziggler gets a brief nearfall. Ziggler with mounted strikes in the corner. Neckbreaker attempt from Ziggler is countered by a chop block to the knee from Swagger. Swagger Bomb attempt is countered by the boots of Ziggler. DDT attempt by Ziggler is turned into a rollup for a nearfall.

Patriot Lock attempt is rolled out of by Ziggler. Kick to the midsection connects and the Famouser lands to nearly give Ziggler the victory. Zig Zag is shook off by Swagger and he lands a boot for a quick nearfall. Gutwrench bomb from Swagger is countered by a Ziggler DDT that nearly wins the match. Both men down. Powerbomb attempt from Swagger is rolled up by Ziggler and he nearly steals the win. Ziggler charges into Swagger and gets pressed into the air. Ziggler trapped in the Patriot Lock.

Winner by submission: Jack Swagger

Match Three: Sin Cara vs. Alexander Rusev (w/Lana)

Alexander Rusev pushes Sin Cara into the corner, but he misses on a splash. Sin Cara with a kick from the apron. Rusev ducks the flying attack from Sin Cara and lands a spinning heel kick. Tilt-a-whirl uranage from Rusev leads to The Accolade.

Winner by submission: Alexander Rusev

The show closes with a preview of SmackDown and Alexander Rusev and Lana walking up the ramp.
