Following the expiry of his WWE contract, Ezekiel Jackson has announced his departure from the company.

The announcement came today via Jackson's Instagram page. In part, Jackson stated, "On April 6th 2014 my contract expired so #WrestleMania 30 was #bittersweet. I thank God for all the blessings he's bestowed upon me in the last 7 years."

Jackson had not been seen on WWE TV in quite some time, dealing with a myriad of injuries.

Jackson first debuted in WWE as the muscle behind The Brian Kendrick and later broke out on his own, winning the ECW Championship and Intercontinental Championship. He would also spend time in The Corre.

Jackson, real name Rycklon Stephens, was a product of Florida Championship Wrestling.
