Main Event: Sheamus brawls with The Miz before WrestleMania

The Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal is one the big attractions at this Sunday's WrestleMania XXX show. Tonight on WWE Main Event, two contestants from the contest will square off as Sheamus takes on The Miz. Plus, Divas action between two Vickie Guerrero Diva Invitational combatants! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are on tape from Washington D.C. Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton have the call for this week.

Match One: Sheamus vs. The Miz

Lockup sees Sheamus muscle The Miz into a corner. Reset in the offense sees Sheamus grab a side headlock and bring it to the mat. Miz counters with a kick to apply a side headlock of his own. Body shots get Sheamus out of the hold and he connects with a shoulder tackle. Both men having counters for offense before Sheamus lands a backbreaker for the first nearfall of the contest.

Miz moves outside to regroup and Sheamus takes chase. Kick attempt by Miz is caught by Sheamus as he reenters the ring. Miz tossed to the mat and Sheamus clobbering Miz with corner work. Kick to the knee of Sheamus drops him to the mat and Miz going to work with stomps and strikes. Corner work from Miz is soon countered by Sheamus. Clothesline attempt from Sheamus sends him out to the floor as Miz pulls the rope down. Slide kick connects and Miz on the apron, but he is caught on the crossbody. Fallaway slam into the barricade from Sheamus puts Miz down as we break.

We return with Sheamus working an armbar. Miz with knees to get Sheamus in the corner. Corner work follows as both men get their shots in. Miz sent into the opposite corner, but he floats over. Miz ducking a clothesline, but Sheamus catches up to send him outside with one. Outside, Sheamus tries to attack from the apron. Miz runs under him and charges as Sheamus rolls to his feet. Miz caught, but he sends Sheamus into the ring post on his shoulder and follows with a kick to the head. Back inside, stomps connecting for Miz and he gets another running boot for a nearfall.

Sheamus cornered and Miz hits his Awesome Clothesline before going up top to land a sledgehammer smash for a brief nearfall. Headlock from Miz leads to getting another pin attempt off a Reality Check. Using the ropes to choke Sheamus, running splash on the back sees yet another nearfall for Miz. Knees connecting for Miz as Sheamus fights back, but a boot to the chest gets Miz another nearfall.

Rear chinlock applied by Miz. Sheamus fights up to break the holds and hits the ropes, only to be dropped by a knee to the midsection. Sheamus again cornered and Miz looking for another Awesome Clothesline, but it is countered by a sledgehammer smash from Sheamus. Sledgehammers and a shoulder ram in the corner are followed by a knee. Rolling fireman's carry slam sends Miz to the apron. Punches from Miz get him the hangman's neckbreaker and he heads up top. Irish Curse catches him and nearly gets Sheamus the win.

White Noise attempt is countered by Miz, who gets a DDT that nearly steals the win. Miz charges and catches the boot of Sheamus in the corner, hanging it on the second rope for kicks. Sheamus fighting out of the corner and both men trading submission attempts. Brogue Kick and Skull Crushing Finale miss for both men as well. Miz left on the apron for clubbing blows to the chest. Up top, Sheamus yanked down by Miz and the Figure-Four Leglock locked in. Sheamus struggling to break the hold. Rope break is finally reached and Miz kicked away by Sheamus. Brogue Kick catches Miz as he charges in.

Winner by pinfall: Sheamus

Video package recaps the rivalry between John Cena and Bray Wyatt.

Raw Rebound shows the creation of the Vickie Guerrero Divas Invitational for the WWE Divas Championship.

Renee Young with The Bella Twins backstage. Young asks about the lead-up to their match at WrestleMania and any concerns they have with the uncertain rules of the match. Brie Bella declares that she is prepared, despite wedding plans and other distractions. Nikki Bella echoes that sentiment, but knows the two disagree on who will become WWE Divas Champion at WrestleMania.

Match Two: Nikki Bella (w/Brie Bella) vs. Tamina Snuka (w/AJ Lee)

Lockup sees Tamina Snuka connect with a knee that leads to an arm wrench. Nikki Bella counters with a wristlock before she is sent into the corner. Back elbow sends Snuka away and a springboard leg lariat connect for a brief nearfall for Bella. Headscissors choke from Bella is used to drive the head of Snuka into the mat before she secures the rope break. Kick and headscissors takeover sends Snuka outside. Snuka catches her with a clothesline and a shot with the vest to get the nearfall inside. Knee drop and a headbutt get Snuka another pin attempt.

Rear chinlock in for Snuka and Bella fighting out of the hold. Bella sent into the corner, where she flips out to connect on a kick. Dropkicks landing and a back bodydrop connects. Facebuster nearly steals Bella the win. Off the ropes, Bella gets kicked by Snuka and the action moves outside.

Snuka brings Bella back inside after kicking Brie Bella down. Bella fighting back with forearms, but she is dropped by a side kick. Dragging her closer to the corner, Snuka connects on a Superfly Splash from the top.

Winner by pinfall: Tamina Snuka

WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee joins Tamina Snuka in the ring post-match. Lee trying to steal a little shine from Snuka and Snuka is not pleased as the tension continues to build between the two.
