WrestleMania XXX staff predictions: The undercard
By SLAM! Wrestling Staff

Will Bray Wyatt turn John Cena's world upside-down with a WrestleMania XXX win? Photo by Mike Mastrandrea

When looking at the undercard for WrestleMania XXX, it should be obvious that a lot of the talent showcased will be moving UP the card in the years to come. In particular, everyone seems high on Bray Wyatt, The Shield, and Cesaro. So what do we think will happen with them and all the rest of the undercard? Read on!

John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt

MATTHEW ASHER: Wyatt should be able to beat Cena both physically and psychologically and take the spot as one of the top heels in the company.
MATTHEW BYER: This could be the match of the night. Wyatt getting the win would help to further build him as a serious contender, but I think we'll probably see Cena get the duke.
NOLAN HOWELL: Expect from chicanery from the Wyatt Family here to ensure their fearless leader doesn't completely fall. Winner: John Cena.
BOB KAPUR: I think Wyatt should win, to elevate him into the main event scene. But I don't see them giving Cena a loss on the biggest night of the year.
MATT MACKINDER: Cena on the undercard never thought Id see the day, but in any event, he wins.
DALE PLUMMER: Bray Wyatt gets a not-so-clean win here and Cena puts him over. Follow the buzzards; the future of WWE is closer than you think.
CALEB SMITH: Cena wins in a heroic comeback, defying the odds.

Andr the Giant Memorial Battle Royal (30 participants)
MATTHEW ASHER: Dolph Ziggler has been busting his ass more than usual lately and this will be his first official WrestleMania moment.
MATTHEW BYER: I think it'll be Sheamus getting the hard fought victory though Kofi Kingston will probably have some crazy spot to save himself.
NOLAN HOWELL: Complete guesswork here, but let's use an obvious choice. Winner: Big Show.
BOB KAPUR: In honour of Bad News Brown's battle royal win at WM4, Bad News Barrett should take this one.
MATT MACKINDER: Im torn between Big Show and Alberto Del Rio, but will pick Show.
DALE PLUMMER: I thought that The Big Show was such a heavy favorite that no one in their right mind would take action on it, but I could see Alexander Rusov being the dark horse in this match.
CALEB SMITH: Big E goes wild and wins it.

Vickie Guerrero Divas Championship Invitational (14 participants)

MATTHEW ASHER: Nattie should win via submission.
MATTHEW BYER:Barring Lita coming out of retirement as a surprise entrant I think AJ Lee will somehow hang onto the title.

NOLAN HOWELL: The time has come to change the strap to someone who has truly earned it with her improvement. Winner: Naomi.
BOB KAPUR: Why mess with a good thing? AJ retains.
MATT MACKINDER: Have to go with Natalya here.
DALE PLUMMER: I think AJ is dropping the belt here, but I just don't know which of the seven Total Divas is going to take it.
CALEB SMITH: AJ gets pinned by Snuka.
JON WALDMAN: The stipulation of it being 14 women in one match for a fall ridiculously dilutes the potential outcome of a pin happening with Naomi getting the title. We haven't even received clarity on whether AJ needs to be the one pinned. If not, then why wouldn't one of the TD's 'take one for the team' and suffer the pinfall so one of her sisters could get the championship? For this reason I suspect AJ's coming out on top, then on Raw the following night she declares there is no competition left since she's just defeated the entire Divas roster, which brings about the debut of Paige from NXT in front of the smart crowd in NOLA which will give her the instant rise to the top she needs.

The Shield (Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns) vs. Kane and The New Age Outlaws (Road Dogg and Billy Gunn)

MATTHEW ASHER: Not only should the Hounds of Justice win, but this should be nearly a squash match if WWE wants the Shield in the truly rarefied air of wrestlers.
MATTHEW BYER:Another match that could steal the show, I think we could see the breakup of The Shield here and Kane and The New Age Outlaws capitalizing on their dysfunction to get the victory.
NOLAN HOWELL: Seems fairly obvious who the stronger team is. Winners: The Shield.
BOB KAPUR: I believe in The Shield.
MATT MACKINDER: The veterans do the job and pass the torch to The Shield, who will show tension and break up in a matter of weeks.
DALE PLUMMER: The demise of The Shield has been greatly overstated and they get the win here.
CALEB SMITH: The Shield overwhelms Kane and the New Age Outlaws.

Will Ryback and Curtis Axel get along well enough to win the WWE tag titles? Photo by Minas Panagiotakis, www.photography514.com

Tag Team Championship (on the pre-show): Jimmy and Jey Uso (c) vs. The Real Americans (Cesaro and Jack Swagger) vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel vs. Los Matadores (Diego and Fernando)

MATTHEW ASHER: If the Usos don't retain the titles, expect the Real Americans to take home the duke and start a great rivalry between their technical skills and the Usos high-flying.
MATTHEW BYER: I think putting the titles on The Real Americans would be the most interesting going forward, but I think The Usos are going to hang on to their WWE Tag-Team Championships here.
NOLAN HOWELL: No reason to stifle the momentum of the current champions. Winners: The Usos.
BOB KAPUR: The Americans split with Cesaro giving Swagger a 30-rotation swing. The Usos get the win.
MATT MACKINDER: Sad that what could be a dynamite match is on the kickoff show, but it is what it is and what it is sees the Usos retaining.
DALE PLUMMER: The Usos retain, I can't see them dropping the belts so soon after winning them.
CALEB SMITH: The Real Americans get the pin on Los Matadores with help from their manager.
SLAM! WRESTLING READERS: Jimmy and Jey Uso 60%; The Real Americans 33%; Ryback and Curtis Axel 7%; Los Matadores 1%
