Smackdown!: Batista unleashes The Animal in Boston
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

Wrestlemania 30 is little more than a week away and the card is coming together. There's sure to be some fallout in Boston tonight, though, after Batista got slapped by Stephanie McMahon on RAW. And superstars are still jockeying for position in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. As always, Michael Cole and JBL call all the action.

Batista kicks off the show, looking like he just stepped out of a Urban Outfitters catalog. He says everyone wanted him back in WWE, (Um, not me), but now they boo him. The winner of the 2014 Royal Rumble and cheering for Daniel Bryan is a slap in the face. Batista has them roll the footage from Monday, when Stephanie McMahon slapped him. Batista promises to walk of New Orleans with the WWE World Heavyweight title and he doesn't care who he beats. Although, he thinks that Steph hits harder than any of his opponents.

Triple H heads to the ring to address the situation and wants Big Dave to leave Steph out of it. Batista claims the only reason Hunter is COO is because he married the boss's daughter. Both men accuse each other of making things personal. Dave points out that Hunter has never beaten him and he came back to win the title. Triple H wants to see the Animal from Dave and he wants to see it tonight when he takes on Sheamus.

Match #1 - Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins w/ Roman Reigns vs. Jinder Mahal and Drew McIntyre w/ Heath Slater

The Shield makes short work of 3MB with Ambrose picking up the win with a DDT to McIntyre.

Winner via pinfall: Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins

After the bell, Director of Operations Kane and the New Age "Corporate" Outlaws walk out on stage to congratulate The Shield. Kane said the will beat them like men and not ambush them like they did to Rybaxel. In fact, they have to face Rybaxel now.

Match #2 Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins w/ Roman Reigns vs. Rybaxel

Kane and company look on as the match goes on. Rybaxel doesn't go down as fast as 3MB, but The Shield still picks up the win. Rollins curb stomps Curtis Axel into the mat to get the win.

Winners via pinfall: Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins

After the match, Rollins takes out Ryback with a suicide dive and then tosses him into the ring. Reigns delivers the Superman punch and they finish him off with the Triple Powerbomb.

Match #3 - Sin Cara vs. Damien Sandow

Damien Sandow is looking to avenge his loss to Cara on Monday, who was partnered with Scooby Doo to push the new home video. Sandow is embarrassed again, though, as Cara is able to roll him up and steal a win.

Winner via pinfall: Sin Cara

The Big Show tells Renee Young that Bray Wyatt is right about some of things he has said about Cena, but tonight the Wyatt Family has a giant problem on their hands.

Match #4 - Goldust vs. Fandango w/ Summer Rae

Fandango and Summer have had trouble with the Rhodes brothers over the past few weeks, but tonight Cody is not at ringside. The fight spills to the floor and Summer is able to successfully stall Goldust long enough to allow Fandango to kick him in head. Fandango rolls Goldust up to get the win.

Winner via pinfall: Fandango

Match #5 Batista vs. Sheamus

Sheamus and Batista circle each other before Sheamus slams him to the mat. The Animal rolls out of the ring. Batista baits him and is able to kick Sheamus coming back into the ring. Dave beat Sheamus in the corner and then whips him hard off the turnbuckle. Batista catches Sheamus with a knee lift and drives him into the turnbuckle. Sheamus hits the mat hard after a spine buster, but is able to recover with a clothesline after Dave takes too long posing for the crowd. Sheamus hits Batista across the chest on the apron and follows with a running power slam. Batista ducks the Brogue Kick and rolls to the floor. Sheamus follows, only to get clocked with a steel chair. Batista gets disqualified, but doesn't care. He continues to beat on Sheamus, slamming him head first into the ring post. Batista finishes him off with the Batista Bomb.

Winner via DQ: Sheamus

After the match, Batista wants to know if we are happy, and once again states that he will win the title at Wrestlemania.

Bray Wyatt delivers another disturbing promo about John Cena.

Match #6 AJ Lee and Tamina vs. The Bella Twins

Vicki Guerrero joins the announce team and Cole tries to find out the rules of the Divas Championship match at Wrestlemania. Vicki won't tell. Aj and Tamina argue on the apron, and AJ is tagged and then thrown into the ring by Tamina. Brie hits an X-factor and covers AJ for the win.

Winners via pinfall: The Bella Twins

Emma and Santino went on a date earlier today and it was awkward. No one wants to watch someone get put in the "Friend Zone".

Match #7 Jack Swagger w/ Cesaro and Zeb Colter vs. Jimmy Uso w/ Jey Uso

If you missed it, The Usos will defends their belts in a Fatal Four Way at Wrestlemania. Jimmy knocks Swagger from the ring and then flies over the top rope to take him out. Jimmy follows with a lateral press off the top turnbuckle, but cannot get the pin. Swagger is able to apply the Patriot Lock; Jimmy can't get to the ropes and eventually taps out.

Winner via pinfall: Jack Swagger

Match #8 Mark Henry vs. The Miz

Miz takes the fight right to Henry, chopping him down with kicks to the knee. Henry hits the mat after a low drop kick. Miz continues to work the legs and follows with kick to the chin. Miz runs into a boot in the corner and is power slammed into the mat. Miz rolls away from a splash in the corner and goes for the figure four. Henry kicks him off, but Miz sends him spilling over the top rope. Henry yanks Miz out of the ring and tosses him into the ring steps and barricade. Miz is rolled back into the ring and Henry finishes him with the World's Strongest Slam.

Winner via pinfall: Mark Henry

Match #8 Bray Wyatt w/ Luke Harper and Erik Rowan vs. The Big Show

Bray has Rowan and Harper flank the ring. Show isn't bothered, as he shoves Bray to mat. Bray tries to unload on Show, who just tosses him from the ring. Bray fights back, getting right it Show's face, but is knocked to the mat. Bray rolls away from an elbow drop and is able to gain the advantage. Bray connects with splash and then blocks a big boot. Rowan distracts the ref, allowing Harper to drill Show in the head. Bray picks up Show and delivers the Sister Abigail. Bray covers and gets the win.

Winner via pinfall: Bray Wyatt
