NXT: Neville retains over Dallas in NXT title rematch

NXT ArRival saw NXT Champion Adrian Neville win the belt in a ladder match against then-champion Bo Dallas. However, last week, Dallas announced that he would be invoking his rematch clause. Tonight on WWE NXT, the rivalry continues as the gold is again up for grabs between the two. Will Neville continue his reign and keep Dallas away from the hold? Plus, NXT ArRival rematches! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE NXT!

Recap of the rivalry between NXT Champion Adrian Neville and Bo Dallas.

We are on tape from Orlando, Fla. Tom Phillips, Alex Riley, and Jason Albert have the call for this week.

Match One: Mojo Rawley vs. CJ Parker

CJ Parker ducks the lockup attempt to get the back of Mojo Rawley. Clubbing blows and a kick allow Parker to connect on a heel kick for a pair of nearfalls. Parker landing a shot and Rawley attempts to fight back, but Parker with corner work. The head of Rawley bounced from corner to corner. Parker keeping Rawley cornered and Rawley eventually fighting back with punches. Splash misses for Rawley and a clothesline from Parker gets a pin attempt.

Shots to the body and back from Parker continue to work Rawley down in the corner. Running knee connects and Parker lays back on Rawley. Too much time spent from Parker allows Rawley to connect on two corner splashes. Hip bump followed by the Hyper Drive.

Winner by pinfall: Mojo Rawley

Match Two: Xavier Woods vs. Tyler Breeze

Lockup between the two leads to a stalemate. Lockup once again sees Xavier Woods press Tyler Breeze into the corner. Breeze with a kick to the stomach and a side headlock in. Shoulder bump connects and Breeze stomping Woods down. Suplex attempt by Breeze countered and converted into a small package by Woods for a nearfall.

Woods with a side headlock and ducks the attacks of Breeze coming off the ropes to connect on a hurricanrana for another pin attempt. Woods reversed into the corner, but he moves away from the attacks of Breeze to catapult him into the corner for another nearfall. Stunner from Breeze kills the momentum and he bulldogs the head of Woods into the top turnbuckle to nearly get the win.

Spinning elbow from Woods stops the offense from Breeze and a series of roundhouse kicks connect. Running kick from Woods nearly puts Breeze down. Honor Roll attempt from Woods is ducked away from by Breeze. Breeze holds the ropes as Woods tries to attack and is able to connect on the Beauty Shot as Woods turns back into him.

Winner by pinfall: Tyler Breeze

Bo Dallas with Devin Taylor backstage. Dallas claims that NXT Champion Adrian Neville has his belt and he is only better at climbing than he is. Dallas will get the belt back and encourages us to "Bolieve that."

Match Three: Corey Graves vs. Yoshi Tatsu

Corey Graves opening up with a kick to the midsection and brawling Yoshi Tatsu from corner to corner. Tatsu fighting back after eating a few chops and he turns Graves into the corner to fire forearms. Body shots and chops of his own. Big chop to the head off the top gets Tatsu a nearfall.

Tatsu fighting Graves with kicks, but Tatsu has his knee taken out. Chopping blow to the chest puts Tatsu down and a spinning kneebreaker lands. Another one connects for Graves. Chop from Tatsu lands, but Graves drops him before dropping his weight on the knee. Leglock stretching the leg of Tatsu before he kicks Graves off. The two exchange blows in the center of the ring, but Graves comes off the ropes and chop blocks the knee. Lucky 13 locked in.

Winner by submission: Corey Graves

Post-match, Corey Graves gives warning to Sami Zayn to stay down.

Match Four: Charlotte (w/Sasha Banks) vs. Natalya (w/Bret Hart)

Charlotte shoves the face of Natalya to start. Side headlock takeover converts for Natalya and Charlotte counters out with a legscissors choke. Repeat of the same process, but the roles reversed. Natalya grabs the waistlock from behind and a standing switch from Charlotte reverses it. Fireman's carry into an armbar from Natalya. Legscissors again in for Charlotte, but Natalya turns out. Knee to the midsection from Charlotte and wristlock working Natalya, but Natalya with a rollup for a nearfall.

Charlotte put down on the mat and Natalya with a kick to the back of the head before landing a running dropkick for a brief cover. Charlotte sent into the corner and she flips back, only to run into a discus clothesline for another Natalya nearfall. Charlotte gets under the ropes for a break from the Sharpshooter and soon works Natalya into the corner. Left leg being kicked and worked over. Stomps and a legbreaker connect for the first nearfall for Charlotte.

Figure-Four Leglock attempt from Charlotte is kicked away by Natalya, who is soon dropped by a clothesline for a nearfall. Leglock torquing the knee of Natalya. Chinlock trying to work Charlotte away, but Natalya has to drop the leg onto the face to break the hold. Charlotte up to stomp Natalya down to prevent the momentum swing. One stomp caught after a Figure-Four Leglock attempt and Natalya sweeps it into the Sharpshooter. Sasha Banks comes in and drags Natalya to the mat by her hair.

Winner by disqualification: Natalya

Post-match, the referee takes Sasha Banks off and Natalya soon comes back with a Sharpshooter to take out both of the Beautiful Fierce Females.

NXT Champion Adrian Neville asked how the match tonight will be different. Neville says tonight won't be different than any battle with Dallas, who he credits for his in-ring talent. However, the momentum is on his side in the form of gold and Neville plans to keep it tonight.

Match Five for the NXT Championship: Adrian Neville (c) vs. Bo Dallas

Bo Dallas with a sweep of the leg and a snapmare into a series of nearfalls on the champion. Adrian Neville with the lockup and he is tossed away by Dallas. Neville with his own shove on another lockup. Stalemate in the next sequence from the two. Handful of hair from Dallas works Neville into the corner, but Neville fighting back with forearms. Dallas with body shots and sends Neville into the corner, but he somersaults to land a mule kick in the opposite corner. Missile dropkick lands and Red Arrow attempt is countered by Dallas moving outside. Neville with a moonsault outside that lands to take Dallas out. Crucifix pin inside gets Neville a nearfall.

On the apron, Neville tries to fly. Dallas is there to shove Neville down to the floor. The referee begins the count as Neville attempts to inch into the ring. Dallas soon follows outside and lands a clothesline that puts Neville down hard. Nearfall back inside for Dallas. Knees to the head from Dallas on Neville get a brief cover. Forearms now connecting for another short pin. Dallas in control and Neville attempting to get off the canvas as we break.

We return with Adrian Neville landing a spinning back kick to the midsection. Bo Dallas up as Neville runs the ropes and sends him flipping in the air with a clothesline. Series of nearfalls off the clothesline for Dallas. Neville with a head kick from the apron and a shoulder ram. Sunset flip inside is sat down upon by Dallas, but he gets caught with a hand on the rope. Neville uses the legs to roll him up for a nearfall of his own.

Back elbow from Dallas converts as both men get to their feet. Arms hooked and Dallas looking for the impaler DDT, but Neville coming in with clotheslines. Spinning back kicks and punting shots put Dallas down. To the apron, springboard forearm nearly retains the belt for Neville. Dallas shoves Neville away in the corner, but Neville comes back with an uppercut. Neville fighting to get Dallas out of the corner, but he is wobbled by a shot. Neville almost sent into the referee by Dallas, but the hesitance from Neville allows Dallas to roll him up and nearly win the bout.

Head kick misses for Neville, but another try connects. Red Arrow attempt from Neville converts, but on the knees of Dallas. Pin from Dallas is barely kicked out of by Neville. DDT attempt from Dallas is countered by a shoulder ram into the corner from Neville. Tornado DDT from Neville is countered by Dallas ramming the head of Neville into the corner. Superkick connects on Dallas as he comes in. Reverse shooting star press connects.

Winner and still NXT Champion: Adrian Neville

The show closes with Adrian Neville holding the NXT Championship as pyro comes down.
