Smackdown!: Kane enlists tag team help to take out The Shield
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

Hard to believe that Wrestlemania is a little more than two weeks away. With that being said there is a lot of fallout from Monday Night RAW to deal with on tonight's Smackdown! from Houston, Texas. Kane is going to deal with The Shield, since they disobeyed direct orders on Monday before turning on him. Plus, what is the status of Daniel Bryan after Triple H brutally beat him down.

And I'm not real happy that important things now happen on Main Event! I only have so many hours in a week to watch wrestling.!

Director of Operations Kane makes his way to the ring. Although Kane doesn't call out The Shield, instead he shows Daniel Bryan getting pummeled by Triple H, in what he calls "The end of the YES! movement." Kane tells the WWE Universe that it is our fault that Bryan got destroyed. Kane tells us that The Authority is better than us and Daniel Bryan and we go what we deserved. Kane has a letter from Triple H, who had better things to do apparently. Hunter wants the WWE Universe to understand that people have to respect their authority.

Match #1 - Fandango w/ Summer Rae vs. Fernando w/ Diego and El Torito

I forgot that Los Matadores were even on the roster. El Torito is smitten with Summer Rae, or should I say he is smitten with her red dress. El Torito charges the poor girl. She jumps to the apron, distracting Fandango and allowing Diego to roll him up to get the win.

Winner via pinfall: Diego

Match #2 Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow

Michael Cole points out both these men with compete in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal at Wrestlemania. In the ring, Sandow knocks Ziggler off the turnbuckle and as he falls to the floor, he smacks his face off the ring steps. Ziggler beats the count back to the ring and Sandow locks him in a head lock. Sandow tosses Ziggler out of the ring and slams him into the security barrier. Ziggler kicks out of a pin the ring. Sandow whips Ziggler into the ropes, but he catches himself and then drops Sandow with a DDT. Ziggler follows with a splash in the corner and a neck breaker. Ziggler sidesteps a swinging neck breaker and counters with the a famouser. Ziggler covers to get the win.

Winners via pinfall: Dolph Ziggler

Bray Wyatt and Family cut another creepy and cryptic promo on John Cena. Luke Harper says he will carry out his will, tonight. Bray tells Cena that his fear is his own power.

Match #3 - The Shield vs. Curtis Axel and Ryback vs. Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal w/ Heath Slater vs. The Real Americans w/ Zeb Colter - Fatal Four Way Number One Contenders Match

There are a few deserving tag teams left out here. Where are Cody Rhodes and Goldust? or even Los Matadors? As it turn out, it doesn't matter. Kane runs down and assaults Roman Reigns. They fight up the ramp as Ambrose and Rollins are destroyed by the other teams in the ring. The New Age Outlaws join Kane in the beat down of Reigns on the ramp. Kane puts Roman down with a big boot. With Reigns out, Kane and the Outlaws hit the ring. The put the boots to Ambrose and Billy nails Rollins with a Famouser. Kane choke slams Ambrose. Reigns is dragged back to the ring and left laying with his partners.

No Contest

Miz TV

The Miz mentions that it has been awhile and then announces he will be in the Battle Royal and he will win. Miz then introduces his guest, The Big Show, who would have to be the odds on favorite to win the Battle Royal. Show says winning the Andre the Giant Memorial will cement his legacy. Miz points out that Show has lost nine times at 'Mania. Show isn't pleased. Miz then introduces some of the other entrants; Titus O'Neal, Kofi Kingston, Alberto Del Rio, Big E, Cody Rhodes, Mark Henry, Goldust and Sheamus, who wants to fight. Miz tries to stop it, but with all these Superstars in the ring it is inevitable. Miz wants to take out the biggest threat and the fight ensues. Miz slips out of the ring as the impromptu Battle Royal gets under way. Sheamus and Big Show are the last two standing. Show catches the Brogue Kick and tries to dump him over the top rope. Sheamus is able to hold on and tries to pull Show over. Miz runs in to eliminate Show, but Show fights him off, knocks Sheamus to the floor and then tosses Miz.

Match #4 - Alberto Del Rio vs. Big E

Del Rio picks up the win in this non-title match with a big kicks to the face.

Winner via pinfall: Alberto Del Rio

Backstage, Emma tries to surprise Santino, who accidently hits her.

Match #5 The Bella Twins vs. Summer Rae and Natalya

AJ joins Cole and JBL at the announce table. Cole asks if everything is all right between her and Tamina. AJ says it is water under the bridge. Brie pins Natalya after hitting a face buster.

Winner via pinfall: The Bella Twins

Natalya isn't happy and kicks Summer Rae while she is down on the floor.

Back in his office, Kane rewards the tag teams that helped him out with The Shield. He gives RyBaxel and The Real Americans a tag team title shot. 3MB wants their shot, too. Kane instead enters them in the Andre the Giant Battle Royal. The New Age Outlaws are proud of laying out The Shield.

Lana cuts another promo for her man, Alexander Rusev. All I want to know is, when are we going to see this guy in the ring?

Michael Cole updates us on Daniel Bryan. He suffered a partially separated shoulder, but won't need surgery. (Of course he won't.) And Bryan has vowed to be at RAW on Monday.

Match #6 John Cena vs. Luke Harper w/ Bray Wyatt and Erik Rowan

Harper takes Cena down by the head and follows with an uppercut. Harper locks Cena in the gator roll and transitions into a chin lock. Cena breaks the hold with a side suplex. Cena follows with a shoulder block, but Harper catches him on the second try and counters witn an inverted atomic drop. Cena kicks out of the pin. Harper goes for the slam, but Cena is able to counter into the STF. Harper kicks Cena off, but is then slammed to the mat. Cena connects with the five knuckle shuffle as Rowan stalks the ring. Cena can't hit the AA and Harper catches him with a big boot. Cena ducks another kick, and Harper spills over the ropes to the floor. Cena catches Harper with a drop toe hold and locks in the STF. Harper bites Cena to break the hold. Harper picks Cena up for a power bomb, but Cena counters with a head scissors. Cena looks for the AA, but Harper counters that with a head scissors of his own. Harper misses wildly with a clothesline and Cena gets him up. Harper is dropped by the AA, and Cena covers to get the win. Cena quickly escapes the ring before the Wyatt family can overwhelm him.

Winner via pinfall: John Cena

Cena gives the Wyatts the "You can't see me" as the show goes off the air.
