Smackdown: Big Show teams with Daniel Bryan; Takes on Kane, Batista
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

After a red hot Monday Night RAW in Chicago on Monday, that DID NOT see the return of CM Punk, Smackdown! brings the madness to Detroit. There probably won't be any title changes tonight, but expect the "YES! movement" to go on in full force.

BOO-tista kicks off the show again this week to cut another promo. HE is still look for all the real mean gone in the WWE. This coming from a guy in skinny jeans and a leather vest. If that's what make a REAL man, count me out. Batista says he has come back and destroyed our heroes.

Daniel Bryan has heard enough. He wants to set Dave straight when it comes to who is the hero in WWE. Bro-tista calls Byran an overblown fan. He wants Bryan to buy a ticket to watch him. Bryan points out the Batista only beat him after Randy Orton, Kane and Triple H all took shots at him. Batista says he is better than Bryan in every way. Bryan is marrying Brie Bella, who are you with Dave? Bryan wins in my book. Bryan makes fun of Dave's belly button tatoo and nose ring. Batista has heard enough, but Bryan ducks the attack and sends Dave to the floor.

Kane runs down and the distraction allows Batista to hit Bryan from behind. Big Show makes the save before any serious damage can be done. Vicki Guerrero settles things down, booking a tag team match for the main event.

Match #1 - Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler

Alberto Del Rio joins Cole and JBL at the announce table. ADR was embarrassed by Ziggler on Monday, when Ziggler beat him with a distraction from actor Aaron Paul. Ziggler gets a measure of revenge; distracting Ziggler and allowing Christian to hit the Kill Switch and get the pin.

Winner via pinfall: Christian

Renee Young gets an interview with Christian in the ring after the match. Young asks Christian about his new attitude. He barely gets a chance to answer when Sheamus runs in. Christian is able to slip out of the ring to avoid a fight.

Match #2 The Usos vs. Ryback and Curtis Axel

If you missed RAW, the Usos finally beat the New Age Outlaws to win the WWE Tag Team titles. Jey splashed Ryback from the top turnbuckle to get the pin, after Jimmy took out Axel on the outside.

Winners via pinfall: The Usos

The new backstage reporter, whom was never formerly introduced, asks Kane about facing Daniel Bryan, who beat him on Main Event. Kane says he has a solution for Daniel's anger issues, he's going to rip off his beard and shove it down his throat.

Match #3 - AJ Lee and Tamina vs. Natalya and Eva Marie

Tamina faces off against Eva, which may be the biggest mismatch on the roster right now. JBL gives Eva credit for pulling off an arm drag. Anyway, Natalya picks up the win by getting AJ to tap out to the sharpshooter.

Winners via pinfall: Natalya and Eva Marie

The inductee into the WWE Hall of Fame is Paul Bearer.

Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose are in the ring to work out their problems. Seth Rollins walked out on their match on Monday. Ambrose tells Reigns that he feels like he has been lied to by Rollins. Seth heads to the ring, saying they haven't been themselves for a while. Rollins says he sacrificed himself on Monday and now he has everyone on the same page. Ambrose shoves Rollins to the mat. Reigns steps in. Rollins slaps Ambrose and then offers himself up. Ambrose decks him. Rollins wants to wrap things up with the Shield Salute. Reigns is in and so is Ambrose, reluctantly.

Match #4 - Sheamus vs. Alberto Del Rio

I feel that we have seen this match before. ADR locks in the cross arm breaker, but Sheamus is able to pick him up and drive him into the mat. Del Rio is able to lock it again, but Sheamus is able to get his foot on the rope to break the hold. Sheamus lands a Brogue kick from out of nowhere and is able to get the pin. And Christian is nowhere to be seen.

Winner via pinfall: Sheamus

Bray Wyatt cuts a promo on John Cena that equally scares and confuses me.

Batista thinks Daniel Bryan is starting to accept reality. After he beats him, he'll go back to focusing on beating Randy Orton for the WWE World Heavyweight title.

Okay, we get it, Alexander Rusov is from Eastern Europe. How about we see him in the ring soon?

Renee Young is backstage with Daniel Bryan and the Big Show. Bryan says that if he isn't a real man, neither is Triple H. Hunter is hiding behind everyone right now. Show wants to know if he should get some skinny jeans. He then says that people should, "Respect the beard; Fear the giant."

Match #5 Daniel Bryan and The Big Show vs. Kane and Batista

Bryan goes to work on Batista with kicks on the corner and then takes him down with a clothesline. He kicks Kane off the apron. Batista weathers more kicks and responds with a spinebuster. Kane tags in and stomps Bryan in the corner. Bryan fights out of the corner, but can't make the tag. Batista tags back in and spears Bryan. Bryan fights out of the Batista bomb and catches Dave with a kick to the head. Show gets the hot tag and takes down Kane with a shoulder block. Bryan makes a tag and climbs the turnbuckle. He delivers a flying head butt to Kane, but Batista breaks the pin. Show takes care of Dave, running him into the ring post. Bryan slides out of a chokeslam, but can't get him over with a sunset flip. Kane gets to the ropes, only for Show to deliver the KO punch. Bryan rolls up Kane to get the pin.

Winners via pinfall: Daniel Bryan and The Big Show
