Hulk Hogan returns to WWE

Hulk Hogan is back in WWE. 2014 World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc.

WWE announced today that Hulk Hogan will be the official host of WrestleMania 30 from New Orleans, and that the Hulkster will appear on Monday Night Raw on February 24th.

"We are thrilled that Hulk Hogan has returned home to WWE," said WWE Chairman & CEO Vince McMahon in a press release. "It's fitting to have him help us celebrate 30 years of WrestleMania and usher in a new era with the launch of WWE Network."

This coming Monday is, of course, the launch of the WWE Network in the United States, and Hogan is a big part of the history of the company and all over its archival footage. So on top of hosting Mania on Sunday, April 6 from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, he will also appear in Green Bay on Monday, followed by WWE Raw Backstage Pass, which will air live on WWE Network on this Monday night at 11:05 pm ET.

"Words cannot express how excited I am to be back in the WWE family," said Hogan in the same press release. "I only have one question for the WWE Universe: whatcha gonna do when Hulkamania runs wild as the host of WrestleMania 30?"

The return of Hulkamania to WWE has been long rumoured, and he liked to stir the pot in his appearances and on Twitter, talking about potentially wrestling at WrestleMania, despite his many back surgeries.

Hogan had been a part of TNA Impact Wrestling for the last number of years.
