Main Event: Wyatt Family take the bull by the horns

The Shield and The Wyatt Family are possibly embroiled in the hottest tag team feud the WWE has seen in years. The trios have established themselves as two of the most brutalizing forces in WWE history. Tonight on WWE Main Event, the Wyatts get put to the test against the high-flying Sin Cara and Los Matadores. Plus, WWE Intercontinental Champion Big E pulls double duty. All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are on tape from Ontario, Calif. Tom Phillips and Byron Saxton have the call for this week.

Match One: Sin Cara & Los Matadores (w/El Torito) vs. The Wyatt Family

Erick Rowan starts off with Diego. Rowan immediately striking Diego down with kicks, headbutts, and fists. Diego flips over the back bodydrop and lands a kick. Dropkick connects and Fernando now in. Rollup attempt fails for Fernando and he is sent into the corner. Mule kick keeps Rowan away and he heads up top. Crossbody is caught and turned into a fallaway slam for Rowan.

Luke Harper in with an elbow drop and a scoop slam. Bray Wyatt in with a scoop slam of his own before bringing Rowan back in for a scoop slam. Nearfall for Rowan leads to him working a submission. Fernando off the ropes and he eats a back elbow.

Harper returns to the match with a slam and a pair of elbows for a nearfall. Chinlock in on Fernando. Elbows to the body simply prompt Harper to yank Fernando to the mat. Wyatt comes back and unloads some heavy corner work on Fernando before bringing Harper back in. Harper looking for the mask, but Fernando out. Flip out of Harper's backdrop suplex sees him crawl through the legs of Harper.

Sin Cara in with a springboard forearm. More forearms lead to a springboard crossbody. Headscissors takeover is followed by the springboard back elbow for a nearfall. Roll to the outside in the corner by Sin Cara sees him connect with a forearm. Another springboard attack is well-scouted by Harper, who connects with a big boot for a nearfall as we break.

We return with Sin Cara being stomped down in the corner by Bray Wyatt. Luke Harper working Sin Cara outside and he hits a senton from the apron for a nearfall. Wyatt brought in and he hits a big corner splash for a nearfall.

Chinlock cranking the neck of Sin Cara. Brief surge of momentum of Sin Cara is stopped by the running shoulder block of Wyatt. Gator roll from Harper in before he snatches the crossface. Sin Cara fighting up to his feet and he is sent off into the corner. Back elbow turns the tide and the tornado DDT connects for Sin Cara.

Rowan and Diego in. Springboard chop followed up by more strikes from Diego. Springboard forearm converts. Sent into the corner, Diego with a handstand to lock in headscissors. To the apron now and Diego connects with a punch before hitting a senton splash that knocks Rowan down for a nearfall.

Harper and Fernando in to cause some chaos. Harper misses a corner boot and tumbles outside. El Torito up top, but he is caught by Harper. Torito wiggles out and Fernando hits a splash on Harper. Wyatt tosses Fernando into the barricade. Wyatt now stalking Torito. Sin Cara jumps to save Torito, but Rowan drags him to the apron. Enzuigiri counter from Sin Cara gets Diego a rollup nearfall.

Sin Cara now legal and he hits a missile dropkick. Mounted strikes in the corner connecting and Wyatt with a sneak tag. Rowan sent outside and Wyatt charges him on the apron, but the enzuigiri connects. Flying attack ducked by Wyatt and he hits his running elbow. Sister Abigail is preceded by the signature kiss.

Winners by pinfall: The Wyatt Family

Lita's Hall of Fame induction package is introduced by the announce team.

Match Two: Natalya vs. Aksana (w/Alicia Fox)

Natalya with a side headlock takeover after some mind games from Aksana. Natalya with a shoulder bump off the ropes and some more crafty counter-grappling. Sweep of the leg and a Sharpshooter attempt is thwarted by a rope break from Aksana. Natalya chases, but receives a hangman's neckbreaker for her trouble. Bulldog connects for an Aksana nearfall.

Stomps and kneedrops working Natalya into the mat. Crossface chickenwing in for Aksana. Natalya struggling out and she hits the ropes, only to be met with a knee lift to the stomach that earns Aksana a nearfall.

Chinlock now in for Aksana. Natalya fights to her feet and snapmares her way out. Both ladies off the ropes and a double crossbody sends both to the mat. Both up with a second or two to spare and Natalya using an uppercut. Pair of suplexes convert and a snapmare is followed up by a dropkick to the back of the head for a Natalya nearfall.

Float over in the corner by Natalya is countered by a side kick to the midsection from Aksana. Bulldog converts again, but it still only gets a brief nearfall for Aksana. Rollup gets Natalya a quick nearfall of her own. Aksana stomping Natalya down and hits a neckbreaker for a nearfall yet again.

Aksana looking for something, but Natalya turns out and rolls her up. Swift transition into a Sharpshooter now for Natalya. Aksana rolls her up to counter for a quick nearfall. More offense from Aksana now countered as she is shoved off the ropes into a discus clothesline by Natalya for a nearfall.

Bodydrop attempt from Aksana countered by a boot from Natalya. Off the ropes, Natalya runs into a spinebuster that nearly grabs the victory for Aksana. Kick attempt from Aksana is caught and Natalya transitions into the Sharpshooter.

Winner by submission: Natalya

Match Three: Big E vs. Drew McIntyre (w/Jinder Mahal)

Lockup sees Big E tosses Drew McIntyre into the corner. Reset and McIntyre ducks under to get the back of Big E. Fireman's carry followed up by a shoulder bump from Big E to get some space. McIntyre consults with Mahal and gets up to try a kick, but it is caught. McIntyre sent outside. Back to the apron, McIntyre brought in by Big E. Whip into the corner sees McIntyre float over, but Big E with a belly-to-belly throw for a nearfall.

Arm wrench in on McIntyre and he fights out to grab a side headlock of his own. Shoulder bump from McIntyre only sees him get leapfrogged and ducked by Big E for a shoulder bump of his own that garners a nearfall.

Drop toehold by McIntyre puts Big E in the corner. McIntyre now stomping down the WWE Intercontinental Champion. Corner work and a slap to the face from McIntyre only infuriates Big E, who now gets some corner work of his own. Big spears in the corner followed by a back bodydrop for Big E. McIntyre on the apron and Big E charges right into a boot. Up top, McIntyre with a flying clothesline for a nearfall as we break.

Armlock in for McIntyre as we return. Arm drag gets Big E out, but he hits the corner hard and McIntyre takes him out from behind for a quick nearfall. Stomps and grinding offense from McIntyre. Big boot puts Big E down on the mat for a nearfall that nearly gets the win.

Armbar and chinlock combo in for McIntyre. Big E fights out, but McIntyre gets the sleeper. McIntyre slammed into the corner and Big E off the ropes. McIntyre meets him with a flying forearm for a nearfall. Running boot from McIntyre gets another.

Clubbing blows to the back from McIntyre sees him try a suplex. Big E counters by dropping him on the top rope. Clotheslines followed up by a belly-to-belly suplex from Big E. Splash connects and Big E tries to get McIntyre untangled from the ropes. Yet another big boot connects as the referee tries to break the two and McIntyre with a quick nearfall. McIntyre mounted with strikes and he heads off the ropes, but Big E catches him and hoists him for the Big Ending.

Winner by pinfall: Big E

Jinder Mahal with the microphone and he calls for an impromptu match with the WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Match Four: Big E vs. Jinder Mahal (w/Drew McIntyre)

Jinder Mahal pushed into the corner, but a back elbow sends Big E away. Mahal off the ropes to capitalize on the offense, but Big E there with a big clothesline. Straps are down and the Big Ending is up.

Winner by pinfall: Big E

The show closes with Big E holding up his WWE Intercontinental Championship triumphantly after taking two wins in one night.
