Main Event: Ryback rules as chaos ensues

Ryback has been on fire lately on Twitter, taking part in poking fun at fans and coworkers alike. His disgust with the internet wrestling community is in full force. Tonight on WWE Main Event, what will Ryback have in store for the show with no match scheduled? Plus, Damien Sandow and Kofi Kingston are in action! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are on tape from Worchester, Mass. Tom Phillips and Alex Riley have the call for this week.

Match One: Kofi Kingston vs. Curtis Axel

Lockup leads to a stalemate between both men. Kofi Kingston eventually gets the side headlock takeover. Curtis Axel fights back to his feet, but is leveled by a shoulder bump that leads to a reset in the offense. Kingston with the bodylock as he gets the back, but Axel out with strikes. Body and head combo from Axel only leads to Kingston scoring a back elbow for a nearfall.

Leg kicks from Kingston connecting. Axel with one of his own, but Kingston with a spinning hook kick for a nearfall. Axel reeling in the corner, but he mule kicks Kingston away. Clothesline out of the corner puts Kingston down and Axel on the offensive with grounding tactics. Whip into the corner on Kingston has too much velocity for him to handle. Strikes from Kingston fighting Axel back, but a back elbow drops him for a nearfall.

Neck crank keeping Kingston down. Slowly back to the feet and Kingston striking his way out. Dropkick puts Axel down and a clothesline sends him to the floor. Baseball slide from Kingston is sidestepped by Axel, who nails him with a kick. Whip tries to send Kingston into the apron, but he cannonballs through the bottom rope and hits a suicide dive. Nearfall back inside from Kingston.

Stomps and strikes working Axel back inside. Kingston sends him into the corner, but a reversal from Axel. Pendulum kick from Kingston is stepped away from by Axel, who drives him into the mat with an elbow drop as we break.

We return and Axel again working on the neck crank and armbar combo. Kingston fighting back up, but Axel with a Saito Suplex for quick nearfall. Axel clubbing Kingston down and keeping him there. Dropkick plants Kingston and he follows up with a knee drop. Backbreaker across the knee gets Axel a nearfall.

Rear chinlock in for Axel. Kingston sprawled on the mat, but he gets to his feet. Kingston shoved in the corner, but he boots Axel away. Sweep of the leg sends Kingston down and Axel with another cover for a nearfall. Axel again working the rear chinlock. Kingston once again out of the hold and he is sent into the corner. Springboard dropkick puts both men down for the referee's count.

Both men up and Kingston with clotheslines and a dropkick. Flying forearm connects and Boom Drop lands. Trouble in Paradise is ducked by Axel, but Kingston runs up the corner to hit a crossbody for a close nearfall. Kingston looking to finish it, but Axel rams him into the corner and sits him up top. Kingston knocked to the floor.

Down and out outside, Kingston with a last ditch attempt at Trouble in Paradise. Axel ducks and Kingston cracks his leg on the ring post. Axel rushes it back inside and Kingston with a cradle.

Winner by pinfall: Kofi Kingston

Post-match, Axel bodydropped to the outside. Ryback's music hits and he makes his way out. Ryback does a lap around the ring and then leaves.

Replay from Raw shows WWE World Heavyweight Champion Randy Orton losing to Kofi Kingston and assaulting John Cena's father.

Match Two: Sin Cara vs. Damien Sandow

Damien Sandow immediately working Sin Cara over in the corner. Grounding strikes beating the high-flyer down. Whip into the corner sees Sin Cara hit a headscissors and Sandow soon sent outside. Crossbody over the top from Sin Cara takes out Sandow.

Back inside, Sin Cara charges a cornered Sandow. Sandow ducks and flapjacks Sin Cara onto the top turnbuckle. Nearfall for Sandow sees him unleash more corner work on Sin Cara for a nearfall. Russian Legsweep in the center of the ring by Sandow is followed up by the Elbow of Disdain for yet another nearfall.

Chinlock in for Sandow. Sin Cara up and he flips out of a suplex attempt to land a drop toehold in the corner on Sandow. Shots from Sin Cara are followed by a clothesline. Springboard crossbody puts Sandow down for a brief nearfall. Headscissors takeover is followed by some chops. Springboard back elbow rocks Sandow for a nearfall.

Ryback again makes his way out for some laps. Sin Cara shown hitting a dropkick inside and a mule kick in the corner. Leapfrog from Sin Cara puts him in front of Sandow, who snatches You're Welcome.

Winner by pinfall: Damien Sandow

WWE Network announcement is replayed.

WWE Raw GM Brad Maddox is shown walking around backstage. 3MB meets him in the hallway and they thank him for the handicap match with Prime Time Players. Maddox wonders if they ever stop talking and says he planned this match so two of the most obnoxious tag teams could give those backstage some peace.

Bad News Barrett makes an appearance from his podium. Barrett has some bad news for us all, as he plans for all surprises at Royal Rumble to be ruined when he steps into the ring. Barrett says he will cause a mass exodus like there was from the local zoo, as every animal there has made their way into the arena tonight.

Ryback once again makes his way out to berate the fans and announcers.

Handicap Match Three: 3MB vs. The Prime Time Players

Darren Young starts off with Drew McIntyre. The two start brawling and McIntyre is on the losing end. Tag to Jinder Mahal sees him hip tossed into the ring. Mahal with the sneak tag from Heath Slater, allowing the two to get the upperhand on Young for a nearfall.

Slater clubbing down Young with forearms and kicks. McIntyre returns to the ring. Clubbing blows to the back and corner work lead to a suplex for a quick nearfall on Young. Armbar and neck crank combo in for McIntyre. Young sent into the corner, but he gets a back elbow to send McIntyre away. Young sprints into a big boot from McIntyre. Nearfall caused by Titus O'Neil, who breaks the pin. McIntyre complaining to the referee, but Young still has the arms and gets a crucifix.

Winners by pinfall: The Prime Time Players

Post-match, 3MB calls for Brad Maddox to restart the match, citing that it wasn't fair. Maddox comes out and refuses to do so. However, he gives them three new opponents.

Match Four: Los Matadores & El Torito vs. 3MB

Fernando starts off with Drew McIntyre. McIntyre brawling to start, but Fernando with headscissors and a monkey flip out of the corner. Arm wrench brings in Diego, who hits a dropkick for a nearfall.

Diego with a crucifix for a nearfall before chopping the chest of McIntyre. Float over attempt in the corner from Diego sees McIntyre put him in the midsection for a nearfall. Jinder Mahal in and double-team attack from the two gets another nearfall.

Heath Slater now in and working the jabs. Diego with a counter chop, but Slater sends him off the ropes for a heel kick. Nearfall brings in Mahal once again. Turning neckbreaker from Mahal gets a nearfall. The crowd calling for El Torito and Mahal takes out Fernando, but he is flapjacked by Diego.

El Torito tags in and he hits a headscissors. Springboard headbutt followed by a headscissors that slams the head of Mahal into the mat. El Torito up top and he leaps over an attack from McIntyre. Slater and McIntyre taken care of by Los Matadores. El Torito distracts Mahal and takes out Slater. Double Samoan drop connects for the team.

Winners by pinfall: Los Matadores & El Torito

The show closes with Ryback returning for more laps and harassment of the fans as Los Matadores and El Torito stand confused in the ring.
