Smackdown!: The Wyatt Family's next target: The Usos
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

Can you feel the electricity in the air? Wrestlemania season is almost upon us. The Royal Rumble is only two weeks from Sunday and that's the official start of The Road to Wrestlemania. Tonight's Smackdown! from Philadelphia should start to sure up the Rumble card.

A vignette from the Wyatt Family farm opens the show, with Bray pretty much gloating that he got Daniel Bryan to join the family.

Match #1 - The Usos vs. Luke Harper and Erik Rowan

Michael Cole points out the Bray and Bryan are conspicuously absent from ringside, while JBL berates him as a conspiracy theorist. Jey Uso takes out Harper with a dice from over the ropes. Rowan clothesline Jey only to be attacked by Jimmy. No one is paying attention to the ref as they fight, and both men get counted out.

Double Count Out

After the bell, Harper and Rowan try to inflict more damage but the Usos are able to escape the ring. Unfortunately for the Usos, they are jumped from behind on the ramp by Bray and Bryan. The Usos a rolled into the ring, where they are decimated by the Wyatt Family. Bray hits the Sister Abigail and leave the broken Usos in the ring.

Randy Orton wants to know where Triple H and Steph are. Vicki tells him they aren't here. Orton wants to be consulted on what matches he will be in and decides that on Monday he will give the Authority a piece of his mind.

Miz TV

The Miz invites The Big Show to the show and wants to know why he went after Brock Lesnar. Show says there's only so much stuff a person can take, and when Lesnar broke Mark Henry's arm, Show had enough. Show just doesn't like Lesnar, never has and never will. Show wants to fight Lesnar, but instead of Brock, Paul Heyman walks out on stage. Heyman asks Show if he wants to fight Lesnar right now. Show is ready, but it was all a tease, Heyman says they can fight when he says they can fight, like at the Royal Rumble.

In case you missed it, on Wednesday WWE officially announced its own network, and more surprisingly Vince cut the cable! Everything will be available on demand on almost every mobile/streaming device. The big selling point is that every pay per view will be included in the price. Even if you only ordered the Big 4 shows, you'd be saving money by getting the WWE network for a year. If you haven't guessed, yes I will be signing up on February 24.

Match #2 Los Matadores, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio vs. Curtis Axel, Ryback and The Real Americans

Rybaxel is a stupid name and I will not be a part of it. Sin Cara breaks up a pin, so Cesaro runs in to take him out. This allows Mysterio to hit the 619 on Swagger and the he goes up top with a senton bomb to cover a get the win.

Winner via pinfall: Los Matadores, Sin Cara and Rey Mysterio

Match #3 - Randy Orton vs. Big E Langston

Langston and Orton lock up and Langston powers into the corner. Orton is shot off the ropes and hits the mat after a shoulder tackle. Langston applies a side head lock and then unloads with another massive tackle. Langston works over the arm of Orton. Langston hit two back breakers, but Orton is able to kick out of the pin. Orton gets caught in the corner with a spear, but is able to float over a suplex attempt and escapes to the outside.

After a commercial break, Orton has Langston in a headlock. The fight spills to the floor. Orton smashes Big E into the ring steps before rolling him back into the ring. Big E fights out of the corner and plants Orton with a clothesline. Langston sizes Orton up, hits two more clotheslines and slams him with a belly to belly suplex. Langston connects with the Big Splash, but Orton is able to kick out. Orton follows with a back breaker and is able to set up the elevated DDT. Orton taunts the crowd, but Big E is able to counter the RKO. Orton goes down in the corner, but is able to thumb Big E in the eye. Orton takes advantage of the cheap shot with an RKO and covers to get the win.

Winner via pinfall: Randy Orton

The Wyatt family cuts a promo on The Usos with Daniel Bryan coming off as just slightly unhinged.

Match #4 Fandango w/ Summer Rae vs. Xavier Woods w/ R-Truth and the Funkadactyls

R-Truth joins Cole and JBL at the commentary position. Fandango tosses Xavier from the ring and does a little dance. Xavier is able to shoulder Fandango in the gut from the apron and then gets the pin after a sunset flip through the middle rope.

Winner by pinfall: Xavier Woods

After the bell, Summer Rae jumps in a berates Woods. The Funkadactyls knock her out of the ring, only to be chased by Fandango. R-Truth makes the save knocking Fandango out of the ring.

Todd Phillips is backstage with the Usos, who say they are going to stand up and fight back against the Wyatt Family.

The Shield hits the ring. Dean Ambrose isn't happy about the incident on Monday with the snake. Rollins grabs the microphone, saying tonight is about the future of WWE and the future does not include the New Age Outlaws. Tonight they will prove they are the future by breaking CM Punk.

Match #5 The Shield vs. The New Age Outlaws and CM Punk

Seth Rollins makes a blind tag and catches Road Dogg with a kick from the top turnbuckle. The Shield make quick tags to keep Road Dogg down in the corner. Rollins makes a cover after a drop kick, by James in able to kick out. Rollins drops Road Dogg face first into the middle turnbuckle, but still can't get the pin. Road Dogg can't make a tag, as The Shield keep him in their corner. James catches Reigns with a DDT, and is able to get a tag to Punk, who unloads into Ambrose. Punk connects with a running high knee and follows with a lateral press off a cross body. Ambrose blocks a GTS and then both men collide in the middle of the ring trying a cross body block. Billy Gunn and Reigns get their respective tags, with Gunn hitting Reigns with a big boot. Ambrose breaks the pin, as everyone hits the ring. Ambrose blocks a GTS from Punk, who then takes out Rollins with a suicide dive to the outside. Billy Gunn looks for the famouser on Ambrose, but is caught with a spear from Reigns, who covers Gunn to pick up the win.

Winners via pinfall: The Shield
