Main Event: WWE Tag Team Champion Goldust battles Ryback

WWE Tag Team Champion Goldust has been on a roll since his sudden return to the WWE. Since grabbing gold with his brother Cody Rhodes, the two have been an unstoppable pair. Tonight on WWE Main Event, Ryback has Curtis Axel in his corner as he takes on Goldust. Plus, tag action. All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are on tape from Tulsa, Okla. Josh Mathews and The Miz have the call for this week.

Match One: Goldust (w/Cody Rhodes) vs. Ryback (w/Curtis Axel)

Goldust opens up with his signature taunt. Both men shoving before Goldust drops Ryback with an open-handed strike. Ryback now in control with powerful strikes. Ryback sent off the ropes and Goldust with a back elbow that drops him. Action again resets and Ryback doing some corner work on Goldust. Back bodydrop attempt from Ryback is countered by him being sent off the ropes for a Goldust arm drag. Dropkick sends Ryback outside,

Goldust on the apron and he push kicks the head of Ryback. A stomp on the hand brings the action back inside. Goldust stomping Ryback down and dropping the knee on the left arm of Ryback. Armbar put in and Ryback sends Goldust into the corner, but misses the splash. Armbar once again applied. Ryback again fights to his feet and rams Goldust into the corner. Fists and feet thrown by Ryback in the corner. Scoop slam is followed by a failed elbow drop for Ryback and Goldust continuing to stomp him into the mat. Goldust with a back elbow out of the corner and a springboard crossbody for a nearfall from the top.

Knee to the midsection from Ryback is followed by a huge whip into the corner. Flying shoulder tackle from Ryback sends Goldust down to the floor as we reach a break.

Chinlock torquing Goldust. Off the ropes, Goldust lands a sneaky rollup for a quick nearfall. Ryback comes back with a clothesline that knocks Goldust to the apron. Strikes for Goldust only delay a huge delayed vertical suplex from Ryback for a nearfall.

Gutwrench from Ryback keeps Goldust on the mat. Action returns to the feet and Goldust stomping the foot and throwing elbows to fight out. Ryback clocks Goldust back into the corner. Sent off into the opposite corner, Goldust explodes out to hit a powerslam on Ryback. Action slowly returns to the feet and Goldust with a series of clotheslines. Atomic drop followed by a bulldog. Sit-down chop connects and Goldust plants Ryback with a spinebuster for a close nearfall.

Ryback is clotheslines out to the floor. Crossbody over the top by Goldust. Punches as he mounts Ryback. Cody Rhodes prevents Curtis Axel interference with a flying forearm. Back inside the ring, Final Cut connects for Goldust off a failed powerbomb for Ryback. Curtis Axel hurries in to break the pin.

Winner by disqualification: Goldust

Post-match, Cody Rhodes clears Axel out and drops Ryback with a Disaster Kick. Axel tries to reenter, but he is back bodydropped outside to the floor on top of his tag partner.

Match Two: The Usos vs. 3MB

Drew McIntyre and Jinder Mahal represent 3MB. Heath Slater absent with an alleged vocal chord injury.

Jimmy Uso starts off with Jinder Mahal. Side headlock in for Mahal. Shoulder block follows and Mahal being leapfrogged and ducked for a corkscrew elbow from Jimmy. Chop across the chest and some corner work brings in Jey Uso. Clothesline connects and Mahal taken outside by a clothesline as he is tagged by Drew McIntyre.

Jey still working on Mahal outside and McIntyre blindsides him with a running boot. Brief nearfall back inside for McIntyre before Mahal is brought back inside. Mahal choking Jey over the top rope and stomping him down. McIntyre again back in and the two drop Jey on the top rope. Clubbing blows across the back of Jey and stomps follow. Jey fighting back with body shots, but he is dropped by a big boot for a nearfall.

Armbar and neck crank by McIntyre. Jey fights his way up and hits a floatover DDT on McIntyre. Both men make tags as they return to the feet. Clotheslines from Jimmy followed by a side kick to the stomach. Samoan Drop lands and Mahal is sat in the corner. Butt bump misses, but Mahal runs right into a super kick. Close nearfall as McIntyre breaks it up.

Jey disposes of McIntyre and takes him out with a dive outside. Mahal sits Jimmy up top for a superplex, but headbutts put Mahal down. Splash across the back of Mahal connects.

Winners by pinfall: The Usos

Pre-match, Damien Sandow has a few choice words. Sandow declares himself the future WWE Intercontinental Champion and future face of the WWE before taking a shot at R-Truth.

Match Three: R-Truth vs. Damien Sandow

Lockup and R-Truth grabs the side headlock on Damien Sandow. Sandow sends Truth off the ropes and tries a hip toss, but Truth counters into a backslide for a nearfall. Side headlock takeover for Truth connects as he holds the submission. Sandow fights out once again, but he is hit with a huge hip toss and a leg drop for a Truth nearfall.

Sandow plays possum to run Truth into the corner. Stomps and knees on Truth followed by a snapmare and an elbow drop for a Sandow nearfall. Sleeper locked in under the chin of Truth. Jawbreaker to get out by Truth and he connects with a heel kick that staggers Sandow. Clothesline sends Sandow outside as we break.

We return with Truth working the armbar on the left arm of Sandow. Sandow counters a whip off the ropes to move outside and recover. Truth follows, but he is knocked off the apron by Sandow. Ring post meets the head of Truth and that earns Sandow a nearfall back inside.

Stomps and a knee drop by Sandow lead to a sleeper being reapplied. Truth fights out, but is dropped by a back elbow for a quick nearfall. Sandow sends Truth into the corner hard twice. Elbow drops into the back and more strikes follow for Sandow. Thrust kick to the face and an endless barrage of strikes get Sandow a quick nearfall once again.

Neck crank submission in for Sandow and Truth out. Cornered Truth gets his boot up and a flying attack puts both men down. Truth misses a crossbody and Sandow sends Truth into the ringpost on his shoulder. Knees and a Russian legsweep lead to the Elbow of Disdain for a nearfall.

Truth cornered and he plays matador to send Sandow into the ring post on his shoulder. Clotheslines and an uppercut by Truth. Front suplex plants Sandow for a nearfall. You're Welcome attempt misses and Truth gets a scissors kick for a nearfall. Both men jockeying for position and Sandow stomps the back of the knee. You're Welcome connects.

Winner by pinfall: Damien Sandow

The show closes with Damien Sandow parading around the ring in celebration.
