Smackdown!: Cena recruited by the Real Americans
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

After two months we finally have a WWE Champion. In a more shocking twist the year isn't even close to over and both Money in the Bank contracts have been cashed in. Unfortunately, Damien Sandow did not prevail in his attempt to win the World Heavyweight title.

(Speaking of Money in the Bank, I reviewed Straight to the Top Money in the Bank Ladder Match Anthology earlier in the week.

New World Heavyweight Champion John Cena kicks off the show from Tampa, Florida. The new champ pits every WWE superstar on notice that the World Heavyweight Champ is here. The Real American answer the call, but they don't want a challenge; Zeb Colter wants to thank him for beating Alberto Del Rio and he wants to recruit him. Colter calls him a real American hero, legend and patriot. Cena wants no part of "We the people"; declining the offer and insulting them to boot.

Former Mr. Money in the Bank Damien Sandow interrupts the proceedings; calling Cena a hypocrite. Sandow says in America you make your breaks, but Cena has been handed everything. Sandow calls him a false champion and calls himself the uncrowned champion. Sandow sole purpose in life now is to end the Cena Era by any means necessary. The Real Americans and Sandow surround Cena, but before they can attack, Cody Rhodes and Goldust run into even the odds. Vicki Guerrero walks out and predictably books a six man tag for the main event, tonight.

Dean Ambrose calls out the Usos and will prove they can beat any tag team. Ambrose and Rollins will do that by taking out the Usos tonight.

Match #1 - Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins w/ Roman Reigns vs. The Usos

Rollins beats Jimmy into the corner, but is send over the top rope with a back body drop. Ambrose makes a blind tag as Rollins flies over the rope. Ambrose sends Jimmy to floor, where Reigns stalks him, but Big E Langston walks to the ramp to even the odds and we go to break.

After the commercials, Ambrose has Jey in a chin lock and takes him down with a short armed clothesline. Rollins lands a punch coming off the tag and follows with a flying forearm splash in the corner. Jey counters Rollins coming off the turnbuckle with a Samoan drop and gets the tag to his brother. Jimmy smashes Ambrose in the corner, but can't get the pin. A spin kick sends Ambrose to the mat; Rollins runs into break the pin, but gets a spinebuster for his trouble. Ambrose dodge Jimmy coming off the top, but he lands on his feet. Jimmy leaps over Ambrose and catches him to roll him up. Ambrose can't kick out and Jimmy picks up the win.

Winner via pinfall: The Usos

After the match, Ambrose takes it to Jimmy. Big E hits the ring, setting up the Big Ending. Reigns makes the save with a chop block as the Usos hit the ring. Rollins and Ambrose have to hold Reigns back and they eventually leave the ring.

Match #2 The Prime Time Players vs. The Wyatt Family

Darren Young attacks Rowan before the sheep masks can be taken off. Rowan whips Young out of the ring and takes the fight to him. Rowan rolls Young back in and tags in Harper. Young is whipped into a big boot. Young can't make a tag and O'Neil gets knocked off the apron. Young catches Harper with kick to the head and is able to make the tag. O'Neil takes Harper down with a shoulder block and then sends Rowan flying off the apron. O'Neil turns around into a clothes line from Harper, who covers for the win.

Winner via pinfall: The Wyatt Family

After the match, Bray enters the ring. Young tries to make the save, but runs right in a Sister Abigail from Bray.

Miz TV

The Miz says his scheduled guest, Shawn Michaels, has left the building. That doesn't stop Miz from blaming HBK for Randy Orton being the WWE champion of face of the company. This draws out Orton, who reminds Miz of the beating he gave him in his home town. If it were up to Orton, Miz would join Show on the unemployment line. Orton announces that Show has been banned from WWE for life. Orton asks Miz how that feels, but then delivers an RKO before Miz can answer.

Dolph Ziggler, World Heavyweight Champ to WWE Shop Zone pitchman is just six short months.

Match #3 - The Bellas Twins and Natalya vs. AJ Lee, Tamina and Alicia Fox

Natalya gets AJ to tap to Sharp Shooter because Total Divas comes back next week.

Winner via submission: The Bellas Twins and Natalya

Michael Cole talks with Triple H about the lawsuit brought against the WWE by The Big Show. The interview is a WWE.com exclusive.

Match #4 John Cena, Cody Rhodes and Goldust vs. Damien Sandow, Jack Swagger and Antonio Cesaro w/ Zeb Colter

Rhodes and Cesaro lock up to start the match. Cody takes down with a shoulder blocks and the blocks a hip toss. Cesaro gets doubled teamed and then all heck breaks loose. The faces clear the ring and we go to commercial.

After the break, Sandow has Cena locked in an armbar and makes the tag to Cesaro. The two trade blows in the middle of the ring. Both men hit the mat. Goldust and Swagger tag in, with Goldy hitting a bulldog and then back dropping Swagger out of the ring onto Cesaro. Swagger corners Goldust and Sandow makes a blind tag. He knees Goldust in the gut, taunting Cena. Cesaro delivers a gut wrench suplex and we go to another break.

After the commercials, Cesaro is in control of Goldust with a headlock. Golust gets to his feet, but cannot break the hold. Cena makes a blind tag, but the official didn't see it. Cesaro drives Goldy into the heel corner and Swagger gets the tag. He slams Goldust to the mat and follows with a Swagger Bomb. Cesaro makes another quick tag, but gets caught with a DDT. Sandow tags in and cuts Goldust off. Goldy is whipped into the corner, but is able to springboard off the ropes and catch Sandow with back elbow. Goldust still can't get a tag, as Sandow knocks Cena off the apron. Goldust with a power slam and Cody gets the hot tag. He rolls up Sandow for a two count. Rhodes goes up top and connects with moonsault. Sandow counters Cross Rhodes with a snap mare and tags in Cesaro. Cody doesn't see the tag, and hits Sandow with Cross Rhodes. This allows Cesaro to hit Cody with the big swing. Goldust breaks the pin, and both men are down. Cesaro looks for tag, but no one is there. Cena gets the tag, tackling Cesaro and follows with five knuckle shuffle. Cesaro counters the AA with a gut wrench suplex. Cena counters the big swing, but cannot lock in the STF. Cody catches Cesaro with disaster kick, but is taken out by Sandow. Swagger, the legal man, slams Goldust and applies the Patriot Lock to Cena. The champ breaks the hold and hits Swagger with the AA. Cena covers to get the win.

Winner by pinfall: John Cena, Cody Rhodes and Goldust

The World Heavyweight champ and Tag Team champs stand tall in the ring to end the show.
