WWE Main Event: Ryback collides with Kingston

Things haven't been so hot for the newest Paul Heyman guy. Despite winning at WWE Hell in a Cell with Paul Heyman against CM Punk, Ryback endured an embarrassing moment on Raw against his opponent from Sunday. Tonight on WWE Main Event, Ryback looks to vent a little frustration on the soaring Kofi Kingston. Plus, Los Matadores see action with El Torito at their side! All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are on tape from Tampa, Fla. Josh Mathews and The Miz have the call for this week.

Match One: Kofi Kingston vs. Ryback

Kofi Kingston opening up with an array of strikes. Corner work from Kingston lets Ryback muscle him into the opposite corner, but a clothesline misses and Kingston returns to striking. Ryback snatches a kick and sweeps the leg. Ryback working Kingston and sends him into the corner. Kingston catches himself and lands a clothesline. More strikes from Kingston, but he is leveled by a shoulder bump. Scoop slam leads to a failed splash from Ryback. Side headlock takeover lands as Ryback torques the hold. Kingston out with legscissors and stomping the face of Ryback. Kingston clubbed down when the action returns to the feet. Ryback off the ropes and Kingston lands an arm drag.

Ryback outside. Kingston follows with a slide kick and a flying crossbody to take out Ryback. A recovering Ryback rams Kingston into the apron. Kingston whipped into the steps, but he leaps over them. Launching off the steps, Kingston with an axhandle smash to the back. Ryback sent back inside, but he nails Kingston with a big boot before he can return to the ring as we break.

We return with Ryback working a neck crank submission. Kingston out of the hold, but he runs into a back elbow for a quick nearfall. Bottom rope being used by Ryback to choke Kingston. Jackhammer from Ryback connects as he taunts the fans for a nearfall.

Kingston put into the corner. Chops crack the chest of Kingston. Kingston reverses after a pair and unloads strikes, but Ryback football tackles him into the corner. Throw from Ryback sends Kingston flying across the ring. Boot across the throat of Kingston from Ryback now. Kingston still fighting with strikes, but Ryback puts him down with a belly-to-belly suplex for a nearfall.

Backbreaker submission in for Ryback. Kingston struggling out and flips out. Ryback suplex attempt to the apron sees Kingston shoves him away, but lands right on a spinebuster for a nearfall. Meathook clothesline is spun around on by Kingston to land a DDT. Dropkick from Kingston is followed by a flying forearm. Kick puts Ryback down and Boom Drop converts. Trouble in Paradise is caught by Ryback, but rollup gets Kingston a nearfall.

Pendulum kick out of the corner lands for Kingston. Up top, Kingston lands a crossbody for another close nearfall. Kingston up, but Ryback tosses him onto the ropes and heads up top. Splash introduces him to the bottom of Kingston's boots. Springboard missile dropkick nearly gets Kingston the victory. Kingston off the ropes, but he is dropped on the top rope. Meathook clothesline connects and Shell Shocked lands.

Winner by pinfall: Ryback

Raw Recap shows Damien Sandow failing upon his cash-in against WWE World Heavyweight Champion John Cena.

Match Two: Santino Marella vs. Heath Slater (w/3MB)

Lockup starts the match and Heath Slater gets a leg sweep. Santino Marella locks up once again and Slater gets the hammerlock to push Marella into the corner. Side headlock in for Marella. Slater having trouble breaking the hold. Marella off the ropes and he lands a shoulder block before chasing Slater between the ropes with a Cobra.

Reset in the action sees Slater unloading strikes on Marella. Power walking from Marella only leads to him being put down once again for a quick nearfall. Chinlcok put in for Slater on Marella. Marella fighting out with the jab, but he is dropped by Slater for a nearfall.

Marella sent out and he attempts to skin the cat, but gets caught. He completes it, but only to run right into a punch from Slater. Slater heading up top, but Marella rolls out of the way. Slater mounts a nearer corner, but Marella does the same. Marella perfects the HBK get-up and Slater charges, only to be hip tossed and headbutted for his troubles. The Cobra is out. Jinder Mahal up on the apron and he gets it. Drew McIntyre attending to Mahal and Slater misses a splash, turning right into a Cobra.

WInner by pinfall: Santino Marella

Raw Recap shows Big Show's latest act of defiance. WWE.com interview rolls with Michael Cole and WWE COO Triple H discussing the ban that Big Show has received from the company.

Match Three: Fandango (w/Summer Rae) vs. The Great Khali (w/Natalya & Hornswoggle)

Fandango opens with a chop to the chest of The Great Khali, but Khali levels him with a right hand. Fandango in the corner and Khali opening up with elbow strikes. Huge chops across the chest of Fandango.

Fandango moves outside temporarily to consult with Summer Rae. Hornswoggle is too close to the situation and Fandango grabs him by the shirt collar. Khali levels Fandango from behind.

Action moves inside and Fandango kicks Khali's leg as he steps in. Fandango dropping strikes on the left leg to capitalize. The bigger man grounded by Fandango. Fandango up top, but he comes down on a chop from Khali. Khali in the corner and kicking and punching Fandango away. Chop looks to bring the end, but Summer Rae on the apron. Khali distracted and Natalya yanks her down into a clothesline, but chop block from behind by Fandango. Leg drop from the top connects.

Winner by pinfall: Fandango

Match Three: Los Matadores (w/El Torito) vs. Los Locales

Diego starts out with the heavier set Local, who is eerily reminiscent of Rob Van Dam's valet Ricardo Rodriguez. Diego plays matador into a drop toehold. Front headlock is countered into a Local arm wrench. Arm drag into an armbar by Diego. Leg sweep from Local into an arm wrench and side headlock. Shoulder bump from Local. Drop downs and arm drags from Diego connect.

Fernando in and a double backbreaker connect. Double chop from both connects and Fernando with an arm drag into a dropkick for a small nearfall. Shot to the midsection brings in the other Local, who looks like Tyson Kidd for some reason. Leg sweep from Fernando gets a nearfall, while Local drops him for a nearfall in return.

Jackknife cover from Local is fought out of by Fernando, who gets a headscissors takeover for a nearfall. Side headlock in for Fernando, but the first Local gets a sneak tag. From behind, the first Local with a crucifix as the second Local lands running knees to the abdomen. Nearfall for the first Local inside.

Splash in the corner converts to put Fernando down. Kick to the ribs from the first Local. The second Local in with a snapmare into a legscissors choke. Chaos being to reign as El Torito gets involved and creates a meeting of the minds with his speed. Headscissors from the top to the floor on the first Local.

Inside, Diego back in and landing flying forearms and strikes. Monkey flip on the second Local and Diego up top to land a splash. Fernando in and the double-team Samoan Drop connects.

Winners by pinfall: Los Matadores

Los Matadores celebrate with El Torito on their shoulders as the show closes.
