WWE Main Event: Goldust makes Main Event debut

"The Bizarre One" known as Goldust has done so much during his time in the WWE. However, he is set to hit another milestone. Tonight on WWE Main Event, Goldust makes his Wednesday night debut against rival Seth Rollins from The Shields. Can the Rhodes Family continue their brilliant run of victories? All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are on tape from Birmingham, Ala. Josh Mathews and The Miz have the call for this week.

Match One: Goldust (w/Cody Rhodes) vs. Seth Rollins (w/Roman Reigns)

Lockup starts and Goldust grabs the side headlock. Seth Rollins having trouble breaking the hold. Goldust off the ropes with a pair of shoulder blocks for a nearfall. Arm drag connects and Rollins moves outside to regroup. Action returns to the ring and Rollins nabs a side headlock of his own. Body shots from Goldust get the hold broken, but he is dropped by a shoulder block from Rollins. Rollins off the ropes again, but Goldust connects with a hip toss and arm drag. Rollins again moves outside.

Action returns and Rollins begins to keep Goldust grounded with punches and strikes. Corner work from Rollins continues the onslaught. Goldust turns it around to bounce the head of Rollins off the turnbuckle and follows with a chopping blow. Rake of the back and some more offense get a nearfall.

Arm wrench attempt from Goldust is punched out of by Rollins, who works him over in the corner. Snapmare and a dropkick to the back get a brief nearfall. Chinlock torquing Goldust now. Goldust sent off the ropes, but he hooks them and sends Rollins out with a bodydrop. Offense on the outside converts for Goldust. Roman Reigns stepping up to Goldust and Goldust walks him down, allowing Rollins to toss him into the barricade as we break.

Sleeper in for Rollins, and he gets a nearfall. Goldust fighting out of the corner, but he is knocked down by Rollins for another nearfall. Neck crank locked in now for Rollins. Goldust out with some body shots and he gets a backslide for a quick nearfall of his own. Goldust sent into the corner with some velocity to knock him down. Rollins repeats the process. Goldust once again sent into the corner, but he steps out of it to land a powerslam. Both men back up and Goldust with a pair of clotheslines. Drop-down chop and an atomic drop are followed by a bulldog for a nearfall.

Goldust looks to pick up Rollins, but Rollins works him into the corner. Goldust gets the boot up in the corner and sends Rollins away. Suplex attempt is countered by Rollins, who twists to hit an enzuigiri for a close nearfall. Flying forearm in the corner by Rollins connects. Up top, Rollins lookis for a knee, but Goldust ducks into a spinebuster to get a close nearfall.

Rollins on the apron and Goldust unloading with right hands. Bulldog into a hangman's neckbreaker sends Rollins to the floor. Godust tosses him into the barricade and hits a snap suplex on the floor. Reigns and Goldust now face-to-face. Cody Rhodes drops Reigns as Goldust returns to the ring, but Rollins there with a schoolboy rollup.

Winner by pinfall: Seth Rollins

Match Two: The Real Americans (w/Zeb Colter) vs. The Prime Time Players

Titus O'Neil starts off with Jack Swagger. Swagger muscles O'Neil into the corner and works some knees. O'Neil counters out with right hands. Whip sends O'Neil into the corner, but he floats over and hits a fallaway slam on Swagger.

Darren Young in and a double shoulder block is followed by a strike for a nearfall. Knees from Young connect and Swagger sent off the ropes, but he hits a back elbow to send Young back. Swagger goes off the ropes and runs into a discus forearm.

Antonio Cesaro with a blind tag as Young hits a Northern Lights suplex on Swagger. Stomp to the stomach of Young connects and Cesaro takes control. The Real Americans using quick tags to keep Young isolated in the corner. Swagger with a clothesline and a Swagger Bomb. Cesaro in with a leapfrog stomp. Young moves out and he gets a knee to the midsection on the barricade. Back inside, Cesaro gets a nearfall.

Sleeper in for Cesaro and Young fights out after struggling. Right hand after right hand from Young, but he is picked up and dropped on the top turnbuckle by Cesaro. Swagger in with a snapmare and he stretches the chest of Young. Young looking for the tag again, but Swagger catches him. Young is sat in the corner, where he knocks Cesaro down and takes Swagger out with an ezuigiri.

O'Neil and Cesaro in. Shoulder bump and a big boot from O'Neil. Corner splash converts and he puts Cesaro up for a fallaway slam, but Swagger in. Shoulder bump sends Swagger away. Chop block from Cesaro connects. Cesaro Swing whirls O'Neil around and around. Swagger in with the Patriot Lock.

Match Three: The Funkadactyls vs. Aksana & Alicia Fox

Alicia Fox starts off with Naomi. Side headlock takeover from Naomi converts. Springboard bulldog into a sunset flip connect for a quick Naomi nearfall. Fox counters with a dropkick. Cameron in with a hurricanrana and a forearm shot. Bodydrop puts Cameron on the apron and the distraction from Aksana allows Fox to get control and earn a nearfall.

Aksana in and kicking Cameron down. Scoop slam attempt is countered into a rollup for Cameron. Kick out allows Naomi to tag back in. Hurricanrana and dropkick connect. Forearm shot and a kick to the head connect. Bulldog attempt misses for Naomi and she is slammed to the mat. Bulldog from Naomi followed by a leg drop for a nearfall that is broken up by Fox.

Fox sends Cameron outside and a double-team on Naomi is thwarted as Cameron drags Fox outside. Rear View connect on Aksana.

Match Four: Dolph Ziggler vs. Damien Sandow

Lockup and Dolph Ziggler nabs the side headlock. Damien Sandow struggling to escape the hold and he rams Ziggler into the ropes chest-first before working him over in the corner. Scoop slam attempt is fought out of by Ziggler, who lands strikes. Knee lift counter to the midsection by Sandow, who works Ziggler on the mat to regain control. Scoop slam and a knee drop earn a quick nearfall for Sandow.

Headbutts lead to a neck crank from Sandow. Ziggler fights to his feet with body blows, but he is clubbed down by Sandow. Back elbow from a cornered Ziggler allows him to the land the missile dropkick. Right hands from Ziggler connect, but he is sent outside by Sandow after a brief surge in offense. Sandow dribbling the head of Ziggler along the apron to get a nearfall inside. Elbow of Disdain gets another close nearfall soon after.

Knee drop attempt from Sandow misses the mark. Ziggler with right hands and he sends Sandow off the ropes. Sandow hooks the ropes to get the boots up. Clothesline after clothesline connect for Ziggler. Double leg into mounted strikes from Ziggler are compounded by another clothesline. Sandow cornered and Ziggler mounts him for a barrage of fists. Neckbreaker into a Famouser get Ziggler a nearfall.

DDT attempt by Ziggler is turned out of by Sandow. Ziggler tries to charge again, but Sandow ducks behind the referee while hitting a slide kick to the knee. The Silencer connects.

Winner by pinfall: Damien Sandow

The show closes with Damien Sandow celebrating the victory with his Money in the Bank briefcase in hand.
