WWE Main Event: The Usos face unorthodox pairing in tag action

Think of the two most different WWE superstars. Now, pair them together. If you thought of a graceful dancer and a muscled monster, you'd be on the right track. Tonight on WWE Main Event, Big E Langston joins Fandango in a match against The Usos. Plus, Big Show and WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel are in action. All of that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are on tape from Milwaukee, Wis.Josh Mathews and Alex Riley have the call for this week.

Match One: Fandango (w/Summer Rae) & Big E Langston vs. The Usos

Fandango starts with Jey Uso. Fandango starts with his pre-match dance routine and Jey does some popping and locking. Fandango's kick gets caught and Jey with a right hand that puts Fandango down for a quick nearfall. Jey sent off into the corner and he floats over to put Fandango out with a right hand again.

Big E Langston now in. Lockup and Jey with a series of strikes, but Langston with a knee to the midsection to knock the wind out of him. Jey dragged to the opponent's corner and Fandango back in with a European Uppercut. Off the ropes, Fandango runs into a hip toss from Jey.

Jimmy Uso now in with a forearm splash in the corner. Jimmy looks to land a butt bump in the corner on Fandango, but Langston drags him away. The two confer outside and Jey tries a crossbody on Fandango, but Langston catches him. Jimmy with a suicide dive to bowl Langston over as we break.

We return with Jimmy Uso working the left arm of Fandango in a keylock. Strikes from Fandango break the hold. Fandango moves outside to get a break from the offense and brings in Langston. Jimmy unloading chops to the chest, but he gets decapitated by a clothesline. Splash followup gets Langston a nearfall.

Fandango in and working the sleeper on Jimmy. Strikes get Jimmy out, but he runs into a knee to the midsection for a nearfall. Langston back in again and the duo working Jimmy in their corner with strikes. Shoulder thrusts in the corner get a nearfall. Abdominal stretch locked in by Langston.

Fandango in and stomping Jimmy down. Snap suplex gets a nearfall. Fandango up top, but Jimmy crotches him by hitting the top rope. Action moves outside, but Jimmy kicks Fandango into the barricade. Langston and Jey in now. Side kick and a chopping blow to Langston. Butt bump in the corner connects. Fandango knocked off the corner by Jey and he hurts his leg in the process. Clothesline from behind by Langston. Big Ending attempt it snuck out of by Jey. Side kick and Jimmy tagged in for a splash from the top rope.

Winners by pinfall: The Usos

Match Two: Big Show vs. Damien Sandow

Both men exchanging words before the lockup. Lockup sees Big Show toss Sandow away to the floor. Sandow reenters and takes the back of Show, but Show counters and works Sandow into the corner. Giant chops across the chest of Sandow. Sandow again goes outside to regroup. Thumb to the eye of Show and Sandow unloading. Mule kick keeps Show away in the corner. Sandow flies from the top right into a chop. Elbow drop misses for Show and Sandow stomping him down. Dropkick and Elbow of Disdain connect for a nearfall.

Side headlock in for Sandow. Show out with a Saito Suplex. Knockout Punch from Show puts Sandow out.

Winner by pinfall: Big Show

Post-match, Show rips the Moneyi n the Bank briefcase off its chain and lays it on Sandow.

Match Three: Curtis Axel (w/Paul Heyman) vs. Justin Gabriel

Lockup sees both men exchanging hammerlocks. Curtis Axel grabs the side headlock and nails Justin Gabriel with a dropkick. Side headlock takeover from Axel keeps Gabriel grounded. Gabriel steps on the back of the knee to get out. Shoulder block and arm drag into an armbar for Gabriel. Keylock now in for Gabriel. Cradle nearfall by Gabriel.

The men exchanging holds and Axel breaks it with right hands. Chop across the chest from Axel is repeated in the opposite corner. Gabriel locks in the armlock again and sweeps the leg off an Axel hip toss attempt for a nearfall. Gabriel with many pin combinations. Axel punched to the outside after the two exchange shoves. Axel and Heyman conferring. Gabriel attempts to interrupt and gets clotheslined as we break.

Axel in control as we return. A number of fist drops get Axel a brief nearfall. More mat work and a rear chinlock in for Axel. Gabriel fights to his feet, but he is soon taken out by a clothesline from behind by Axel for a nearfall.

Backbreaker and axhandle smash from the second rope get Axel another nearfall. Elbow drop from Axel before he whips Gabriel into the corner with velocity for a nearfall. Gabriel fighting back with leg kicks and spinning back kick. Spinning heel kick connects for Gabriel. Splash in the corner followed by a springboard crossbody for a nearfall.

Springboard moonsault from Gabriel doesn't connect, but corkscrew crossbody to the outside takes Axel out. Back inside, Axel catches Gabriel coming into the ring with a neckbreaker for a nearfall. Saito Suplex gets a nearfall. Axel attempting a running strike, but Gabriel with a spin kick and a springboard moonsault for a nearfall.

450 Splash attempt by Gabriel is rolled out of by Axel. Corner splash and side slam convert for a close nearfall for Gabriel. Axel again moves outside and Gabriel follows. Axel yanks the arm of Gabriel and hits the swinging facebuster.

Winner by pinfall: Curtis Axel

The show closes with Curtis Axel proudly displaying the WWE Intercontinental Championship and Paul Heyman celebrating with his client.
