Wrestling icon Hulk Hogan was left cut and bleeding after a freak boating accident over the weekend.

The 60-year-old former WWE star detailed the incident in a series of posts on his Twitter page Sunday night, revealing he was enjoying an outing with a friend on his Sea Ray boat when the windshield suddenly shattered.

The pair was covered in glass and both sustained cuts.

"How come every time we go out on the boat someone ends up bleeding?" Hogan wrote on Twitter. "Today both me and (my friend) Dr Crespo ended up covered in blood, the windshield on my boat exploded because of the wind and speed on the water, crazy... And it wasnt the go fast (speed boat) Scarab, it was my slower Sea Ray, oh well time to saddle up again brother."
