TNA Impact: Styles is Bound for Glory at No Surrender

After months of action, the Bound for Glory Series comes to its conclusion. Tonight on a special No Surrender edition of TNA Impact, AJ Styles, Austin Aries, Magnus, and Bobby Roode all have the opportunity to take home the title shot at Bound for Glory by winning the series. Who will come out on top? Plus, Bully Ray puts his strap on the line against Aces & Eights member Mr. Anderson. All that and more on this week's special No Surrender edition of TNA Impact!

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray and Brooke Tessmacher make their way out to the ring. Bully is not in a good mood because of the problems within Aces & Eights lately. Mr. Anderson is forgiven in Bully's eyes because he believes this is all on Hulk Hogan.
Ears must have been burning, as Hulk Hogan comes down the ramp. Hogan asks if someone mentioned his name and welcomes the audience to No Surrender. Hogan says Bully should be more worried about defending his title tonight than complaining. Bully knows Anderson will do the right thing, but Hogan reiterates that it is something to be worried about. Bully wants Anderson to come out and meet him face-to-face.
Mr. Anderson walks himself to the ring, rejecting a Hogan handshake along the way. Bully notes how Anderson blew Hogan off and says the Aces & Eights colors are stronger than any gold. Bully says Anderson just needs to apologize for this to be all over. Anderson apologizes for being out of line and states that he can't wait to get out of line tonight before dropping Bully with a right hand. Anderson promises to be the new champion tonight as Hogan announces that the title bout tonight will be a last man standing match.

Bound for Glory Series Semifinals Match One: Austin Aries vs. AJ Styles
Lockup start leads to a stalemate between the two men. Austin Aries locking in a hammerlock off another lockup. AJ Styles transitions to the wristlock. Counter by Aries gets him the side headlock. Aries off the ropes as Styles leapfrogs and ducks into landing a back elbow. Off the ropes, Styles runs right into an Aries dropkick that sends him outside.
Styles taking time to regroup outside, but Aries not allowing that as he hits an axhandle smash from the top rope to the floor. Aries puts Styles back inside and heads up top. Missile dropkick sidestepped by Styles, who hits a dropkick of his own that sends Aries to the floor. Styles looking for a crossbody on Aries, but Aries ducks inside as Styles tumbles to the floor. Suicide dive attempt from Aries sees him fly right into a forearm from Styles.
Back inside, Styles stomping Aries into the mat and working him in the corner with chops. The two men reversing to land chops of their own in a battle of the chest strike. Styles ends it with forearms. Aries hoisted on the shoulders of Styles, but both men have counters upon counters. Forearm shiver battle begins as we break.
We return with Styles ducking an Aries splash in the corner. Styles has Aries up, but Aries wiggles out. The two exchanging suplex blocks and Aries disengages with strikes. Both men now exchanging blows in the center of the ring. Aries with a forearm that allows him to run the ropes, but he runs into a hard forearm from Styles. Styles now with a striking combo and he hoists Aries into the air for a backbreaker that gains a nearfall.
Styles with an elbow strike and he sets up the Styles Clash, but Aries is able to wiggle towards the ropes. Aries sat on the apron and he eats a forearm. Styles with a slingshot crossbody to the floor. Styles on the apron and he sets up a springboard attack, but Aries shoves him to the floor. Carried to the apron, Aries attempts to suplex Styles back inside, but neither man will budge. Forearm from Aries leads to a suicide dive attack, but Styles up to the apron and he nails a springboard forearm for a nearfall.
Styles clash attempt is negated by Aries tucking in his arms. Powerbomb attempt by Styles is countered into a hurricanrana by Aries. A cornered Styles gets a boot up just in time as Aries sprints in. Styles backs off and Aries charges with a dropkick. Both men attempting a suplex, but Styles counters into a neckbreaker. Quick transition from Aries allows him to nail the Brainbuster. Styles kicks out with little time to spare, but Aries with a swift counter into the Last Chancery. Styles looking to tap, but he somehow muscles out of the hold. Aries headbutting the back and he goes up top, but Styles meets him. The two exchanging blows and Aries boxes the ears to send Styles down. 450 Splash sees Styles roll away, but Aries lands on his feet. Crossbody splash in the corner doesn't connect, as Aries lands right on the top turnbuckle. Pele by Styles connects and he heads to the second rope. Styles Clash smashes Aries into the canvas.

Magnus preparing for his matchup tonight. Sting preparing Magnus with a speech. Magnus interrupts to thank all of the Main Event Mafia, but he says he is tired of being the future and wants to fast-track that to now.
Bound for Glory Series Semifinals Match Two: Bobby Roode vs. Magnus
Bobby Roode wasting little time by putting Magnus in the corner and unloading with strikes. Magnus whisked into the opposite corner and he receives a chop. Roode sending Magnus into the opposite corner again, but Magnus explodes out with a clothesline. Punches and a European Uppercut drop Roode. Magnus sent off the ropes, but he hooks them as Roode attempts a dropkick. Leglock submission wiggled out of by Roode as he heads outside.
Roode drags Magnus outside and he rams him into the apron. Magnus pulled into a clothesline from Roode and then bounced of the steel steps. Back inside, Roode stomping Magnus before landing a series of knees to the midsection. Saito Suplex from Roode garners a nearfall. Snap suplex gets him another.
Second rope being used to choke Magnus. Roode looks for a right hand, but Magnus counters with a few of his own. Roode ends the rally with a knee lift for a nearfall. Sleeper locked in for Roode. Magnus fading fast here, but he manages to get to the feet. Roode disengages with a headbutt and some chops. Both men exchanging counters before Magnus levels Roode with a clothesline. A cornered Roode gets the boot up and heads up top, only to be caught by Magnus with a driver for a nearfall.
Submission attempt by Magnus sees Roode rake the eyes and hit a Double R Spinebuster for a nearfall. Roode works Magnus into the corner and sits him up top. Superplex attempt by Roode is countered into a front suplex by Magnus. Elbow drop from the top gets Magnus a nearfall. Magnus looking for the finish now and hoists Roode into the air, but Roode reverses into a schoolboy pin with a handful of tights for a close nearfall.
Magnus looking for a clothesline, but Roode catches the arm and locks in the Crossface. Magnus quickly grapples his way out and locks in the Cloverleaf. Roode inching towards the ropes, but Magnus drags him back to the middle of the ring. Roode again making the steady crawl to the ropes. Multiple taps appear to be coming, but Roode gets to the ropes and moves outside.
Magnus heads out to throw Roode back in. As he enters the ring, Roode kicks the second rope into the crotch of Magnus. Roode hooks the leg and attempts a Fisherman's Suplex, but Magnus twists out and hooks a jackknife cover.
Winner by pinfall: Magnus
Bobby Roode wrecking a table backstage. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian rush up to comfort their partner, but Roode has a plan in store for later. Roode believes Hogan screwed them and now Roode wants to screw Hogan by ensuring no one goes to the finals tonight.
Hulk Hogan meeting with Manik backstage. Hogan praises Manik for his work and Manik wants to test himself with Jeff Hardy. Hogan grants it as TNA President Dixie Carter walks in to meet with Hogan. Carter says Bellator attorneys pulled Rampage Jackson and Tito Ortiz from the show and they discuss their plans for them after their November fight.
Bully Ray with Aces & Eights backstage. Bully has no idea what is going on with the club and believes the club is behind Mr. Anderson. Bully believes that the club has turned on him despite all the things he has done for them. Bully knows the group is proud of him and believes they will do the right thing for him tonight.

Last Man Standing Match Three for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Bully Ray (c) (w/Brooke Tessmacher) vs. Mr. Anderson
Match beings as Mr. Anderson meets Bully Ray halfway up the ramp. A brawl between the two ensues as Anderson takes it back to the ring. Anderson in control with right hands and shoulder thrusts on the cornered Bully. Whip into the corner puts Bully down. Anderson continuing to make the match ugly with right hands.
Bully tossed down to the floor and Anderson slams him into the announce table. Bully now being worked along the barricade before he grabs ring announcer Christy Hemme as a shield to avoid punishment. Bully Ray looking to take a walk, but Anderson chases him down and again unloads right hands. Apron is introduced to Bully face-first. Anderson again chasing Bully down, but Bully rakes the eyes of Anderson. Right hand from Bully is followed up with an introduction to the steel steps for Anderson. Bully asks Brooke Tessmacher to get him a chair as he bounces Anderson off the steps once again. Clothesline puts Anderson down.
Bully continuing the ugly fight as Tessmacher returns with his chair. Anderson counters with a kick to the midsection and now holds the steel chair. Chair cracked across the back of Bully.
Action returns to the ring and Anderson runs into a back elbow. Bully up top, but Anderson meets him there with a groin strike. Rolling fireman's carry slam from Anderson connects and he heads out to get the table. A return to the ring sees Bully put Anderson out with a big boot. Steel chair now in Bully's hands and he cracks Anderson across the back. Bully sets up the table in the corner as we break.
We return with the steel chair smacking the back of Anderson once again. Referee Earl Hebner is backed into the corner by Bully Ray, but Hebner isn't having it and goes off on Bully. Hebner turns his back and is shoved into the turnbuckle by Bully, putting him out of commission for the time being. Bully with a big boot attempt, but Anderson ducks it and hits the Mic Check right on the steel chair. Anderson attempting to revive Hebner to no avail.
Bully is lifted to his feet, but he jumps into a Bully Cutter that plants Anderson. Garrett Bischoff, Knux, and Wes Brisco make their way to the ring and circle Anderson. They lift Anderson to his feet, only to have Brooke Tessmacher come from behind with a low blow. Bully and Tessmacher share a kiss before Aces & Eights lift Anderson again. Knux kisses Anderson on the cheek before the group slams him with a triple powerbomb.
Earl Hebner is brought to his knees by Bully Ray. Hebner's count continues up to nine, but Anderson uses the ropes to drag himself to his wobbly legs. Bully in Anderson's face, telling him to lay down. Anderson explodes with right hands, but Bully nearly decapitates him with a clothesline. Chain now wrapped around the hand of Bully and he puts Anderson out cold. Hebner counting once again and Anderson reaches the ropes with seconds to go. Anderson barely makes it to a vertical base again.
Bully infuriated as Anderson staggers towards him. Bully spears Anderson through the table in the corner. Anderson slumps down and Bully grabs a jagged edge of table as he lurks over Anderson.
Winner and still TNA World Heavyweight Champion: Bully Ray
Medical staff put Anderson on a stretcher as Bully and Tessmacher follow with insults and taunts. Halfway up the ramp, Bully shoos away the stadf and wheels Anderson to the top of the stage before flipping the stretcher over. Bully rips the neck braces off and whips Anderson with his jacket. Anderson hoisted up and Bully piledrives him on top of the stage. Bully tells Anderson who he is and stands atop him with the belt overhead.
TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James will take on ODB with the strap on the line next week. ODB talks about her preparedness to take back the belt.
TNA Tag Team Champions "Cowboy" James Storm and Gunner inside the ring. Storm playing to the crowd before getting to the matter at hand. The team want challengers for their gold at Bound for Glory, but they don't care who steps up.
Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez make their way out. Guerrero says the team knows all about Bound for Glory, stating that it is where they won the gold last year. Guerrero states Storm is one of the greatest tag team wrestlers ever, but he takes a backseat to Guerrero himself. Guerrero also says Gunner is one of the strongest men in TNA, but he also takes a backseat to his partner Hernandez. Guerrero believes they can help the champions continue their losing streak.
Gunner takes the mic and says that they can take them on next week to earn their title shots before giving them warning to watching how they challenge them next time around.

Bound for Glory Series Finals Match Four: Magnus vs. AJ Styles
Lockup starts the bout off with a stalemate. Magnus muscles AJ Styles into the corner on the second lockup. Styles gets the back and nabs a side headlock on the reset. Magnus attempting the bodydrop suplex, but Styles counters into a side headlock takeover to maintain the hold. Magnus attempting to get out of the hold, but Styles continues the submission. Magnus walks Styles up the corner, but Styles with a side headlock takeover once more. Magnus repeats the process to get a bodydrop suplex for a nearfall.
Sleeper hold around the neck of Styles. Styles works his way out with strikes and heads off the ropes, but Magnus connects with a back bodydrop. Styles sent into the corner, but he counters with a drop toehold that introduces Magnus to the turnbuckles Some corner work from Styles leads to a snapmare. Kick to the spine and Styles doing some more corner striking. Action moves back to the middle of the ring and Magnus blasts away with right hands. Kick off the back bodydrop attempt lands for Magnus, but Styles is right there with a back elbow. Snapmare connects, but a knee drop fails for Styles. Scoop slam and a failed elbow drop for Magnus repeats the process. Small package for Styles gets a nearfall.
The Extraordinary Gentlemen's Organization hits the ring and takes out both men. Magnus on the receiving end of a Double R Spinebuster and Styles receives the Angel's Wings. The group continues the beating as referees come to restore order in the ring as we break.
We return with the men going toe-to-toe with strikes. Magnus gets the upper hand in the exchange, but runs right into an enzuigiri from Styles. Reeling on the ropes, Magnus with a big boot as Styles charges in. Clotheslines from both men leave each other flat on the canvas. Both men beat the count and Styles with a combo in the middle of the ring. Clotheslines and a spinning heel kick connect for Styles. Styles on the apron with a springboard attack, but Styles eats a European Uppercut. Mag Daddy Driver connects for a close nearfall.
Magnus looking for the Cloverleaf, but Styles pulls him down into a triangle choke submission. Magnus stacking him for a nearfall. Magnus muscles Styles up for a powerbomb, but Styles rolls through with a nearfall. Styles kicked away by Magnus, but Styles ducks a Magnus right to nail the Pele for a close nearfall.
Styles pushed into the corner and Magnus charges, but Styles rolls into the Calf Killer. Magnus slowly inching to the ropes. Almost tapping, Magnus with one last lunge to grab the rope. Big splash in the corner by Styles. Magnus catches Styles flying and drives him to the mat for a close nearfall.
Styles hoisted to the top rope. Superplex attempt by Magnus countered by punches from Styles. Magnus sent down twice by Styles strikes, but Magnus heads up a third time. Styles with a huge flurry of forearms that sends Magnus tumbling to the mat. Styles on top and he hits Spiral Tap.
Winner by pinfall and Bound for Glory Series winner: AJ Styles
Styles says he made good on his promise to win. Styles thanks all the fans for giving him the energy to make it this far. Styles says that he got a lot of comments for his tirade a few weeks back, but he never got a reply from TNA President Dixie Carter. Styles asks her to be prepared for next week when he has more to say and for her to consider this as a wake up call. With that, the show closes.
