TNA Impact: Tito Ortiz gives warning in return to TNA

The first of August has arrived and it is time for the big reveal. The man behind the August 1st Warning will show himself. Tonight on TNA Impact, we will find out what this person has in store for TNA and anyone who stands in his way. Plus, the Bound for Glory Series continues with AJ Styles versus Austin Aries. All that and more on this week's edition of TNA Impact!

Taz making his way into the arena. Security stops Taz to inform him that Hulk Hogan has barred him from entering the building. Taz is none too pleased about it and says he will have them out of a job for this.

We are LIVE from Wichita Falls, Texas. Mike Tenay and Jeremy Borash have the call for this week.

Another warning about August 1st plays, promising to debut tonight.

Austin Aries makes his way out. Aries laps up the attention from the fans and congratulates TNA World Heavyweight Champion Chris Sabin on getting what he deserves in the strap. However, Aries issues warning and says that he will be gunning for him. Aries then focuses on his match against AJ Styles in the main event of the night. This is a dream match for everyone involved in wrestling and Aries says it will happen tonight. Aries believes that the two men are the best of the best and believes he will erase any doubt of that tonight.

Bobby Roode hits the ring. Roode says that Aries can discuss a dream match, but he has had nightmares since last year's Destination X when Aries defeated him for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Roode believes everyone has forgotten what he can do in the ring. Tonight, Roode promises to go back to the things that made him the best in the company.

Aries wants Roode to make it and get his mojo back to get to the finals of the Bound for Glory Series so he can beat him once again.

Bound for Glory Series Match One: Bobby Roode vs. Hernandez

Bobby Roode attacks Hernandez on the ramp to start. Hernandez thrown to the floor as we break.

We return with action from the break showing Roode ramming Hernandez into the ring post.

Roode chopping the chest of Hernandez in the corner. Hernandez sent off the ropes and a shoulder bump from Roode gets a nearfall.

Roode sent off the ropes on a reversal and Hernandez chest bumps him down. Back elbow in the corner from Roode sends him up top, but he comes down on a forearm to the stomach. Hernandez carrying Roode, but Roode elbows out and hits a spinebuster for a nearfall.

Hernandez tossed to the floor. Roode whips Hernandez hard into the steel steps. Back inside, Roode gets another nearfall.

Rake of the back from Roode followed up by a chop in the corner by Roode. Hernandez sent into the corner and a huge clothesline drops him. Roode charges, but a kick to the knee from his back by Hernandez. Hernandez heads up top, but Roode meets him with a blow to the head. Roode is tossed down and Hernandez looking for a splash. Roode moves out of the way. Crossface in and Hernandez struggling. Fading fast, Hernandez manages to hit a side suplex to fight out. Clotheslines and axhandle smashes from Hernandez. Roode fires back, only to be hit with a Get Off Me shoulder block.

Hernandez out on the ramp and it looks to be time for Air Mexico to take flight. Air Mexico battering ram launches and connects on Roode. Border Toss attempt is fought out of by Roode, who lands on top of the referee. The referee temporarily distracted and Roode with a low blow and a handful of tights on a rollup only gets a nearfall.

Roode snaps and starts chucking chairs into the ring. The referee begins to toss chairs out and Roode grabs a bottle from under the ring. Clubbing shot with the bottle from Roode as the referee rids of the last chair.

Winner by pinfall: Bobby Roode

Main Event Mafia is seen making their way backstage and preparing for the night.

Eric Young and ODB discussing her return to the ring tonight. Young says he'll be there in spirit as he has other plans tonight. Joseph Park makes his way out of the locker room and Young has a plan to remedy Park's uncontrollable nature when he bleeds. Young encourages him to wear it tonight.

TNA World Heavyweight Champion Chris Sabin meets up with Manik and offers congratulations. Manik says that TJ Perkins worked for 15 years and got nothing. Showing the mask, Manik believes this has given him a resurgence. Sabin says he will bring his best tonight and wants Manik to do the same.

Bound for Glory Series Match Two: Jay Bradley vs. Joseph Park (w/Eric Young)

Prior to the match, Eric Young presents Joseph Park with headgear.

Jay Bradley attacks Joseph Park from behind to start. Bradley attempts to ram the head of Park into the turnbuckle, but to no avail. Elbows down Park, but he turns the tide with a hip toss. Bradley with a back elbow and a knee drop for a nearfall.

Bradley working Park in the corner. Running boot attempt from Bradley does not connect and Park ducks out to roll him up for a nearfall. Bradley immediately ends the onslaught with strikes to put Park down. Elbow drops get Bradley a nearfall.

Bradley aiming to rip the headgear from Park, but nothing doing. Bradley again working the head with strikes and elbows. Knee drop to the back of the head gets yet another nearfall.

Side headlock from Bradley fought out of by Park. Shoulder blocks and a scoop slam from Park. Park up top, but Bradley meets him there to pull him down. Park sweeps the leg and locks in the Boston Crab. Bradley struggles his way to the ropes. A cornered Bradley hits a charging Park with a back elbow and lands a backbreaker. Headgear is stripped from Park and Bradley looking for the Boomstick. Park catches him and hits a Samoan Drop.

Winner by pinfall: Joseph Park

Park and Young celebrate the victory.

Main Event Mafia has an offer for Aces & Eights later in the night.

The Main Event Mafia meeting backstage. Angle wants to know if there is additional information on the August 1st Warning saga, but no one has anything.

Sting reiterates that the group has made one goal come true by costing Bully Ray the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Sting wants to know if the group is ready for the next phase and everyone is ready to go for later tonight.

Match Three: Manik vs. Chris Sabin

Match starts with a lockup. Chris Sabin grabs the arm wrench on Manik. Manik flipping out, but Sabin transitions into a wristlock. The two men countering and grabbing submissions with ease. Hammerlock into a leg sweep from Sabin gets a series of nearfalls. Manik monkey flip and a series of quick strike offense gets another series of nearfalls in favor of Sabin as we break.

Bulldog from Manik connects as we return. Headscissors takeover into a crossface from Maink. Rollup into a nearfall by Manik.

Manik sent into the corner, but a floatover into a headstand puts him on the apron. Enzuigiri from Sabin sends Manik tumbling to the floor. Sabin picks Manik up and drops him on the apron. Back inside, Sabin claims a quick nearfall off the offense on the outside.

Boot across the throat of Manik in the corner. Snap suplex earns a nearfall and Sabin turns it into a chinlock. Surfboard stretch transition from Sabin. Manik up to his feet and he flips into a mule kick to send Sabin away. Headscissors takeover puts Sabin on the second rope. Springboard dropkick out of the corner onto the apron followed up by a springboard missile dropkick inside by Manik for a nearfall.

Sabin pulls Manik through by his arms and maneuvers into a crucifix pin attempt for a nearfall. Kick from Sabin caught and turns into a powerbomb by Manik for a nearfall of his own. Manik heads up top, but Sabin is there to meet him with strikes and a chop. Delayed vertical superplex from Sabin plants Manik on the mat for a nearfall.

Forearm shots being trades by Manik and Sabin. European Uppercuts from Manik are outdone by the chops by Sabin. Manik using judo chops and a spinning back kick to head off the ropes, but he runs into the boot of Sabon. Hail Sabin attempt fails and Manik looks for the gutbuster. Sunset flip by Sabin gets a close nearfall.

Kick to the head of Sabin connects for Manik. Manik off the ropes, but Sabin chases him to get a bulldog from behind. Side kick to the head of the downed Manik. Hail Sabin connects.

Winner by pinfall: Chris Sabin

Bully Ray cheap shots Sabin from behind as he celebrates. Bully Ray following up with more strikes and he unleashes the chain. Punt to the ribs from Bully. Manik attempts to stop Bully, but he is tossed away. Sabin uses this to strike with quick chops, kicks, and an enzuigiri that sends Bully running scared.

Mike Tenay and Jeremy Borash run down the rest of the show.

Limousine shown backstage. Taz cuts the camera off to discuss the injustice of him not being allowed in the arena. Taz opens the door of the limo to expose the person behind the August 1st Warning, only revealing a laptop with another message recorded on it.

Bad Influence backstage being informed that the fans voted them to face each other next week. Christopher Daniels and Kazarian are both dismissive of the idea, with Daniels saying that this shouldn't happen as he is undefeated and Kazarian has lost all three of his Bound for Glory Series matches. Kaz takes offense to this and says he plans to take some points next week, dumping the signature appletini across the shirt of Daniels.

Match Four: Gail Kim vs. ODB

Gail Kim and ODB get face-to-face. Gail Kim piefaces her away and ODB comes back with a spear and a flurry of fists. Gail Kim moves outside and ODB splashes her on the ropes. Gail sent back inside after some clubbing forearm blows to the chest for a ODB nearfall.

ODB sent into the corner, but she mule kicks Gail Kim down. ODB up top, but Gail Kim with a kick to toss ODB back to the mat. Punt to the ribs and a boot in the face from Gail in the corner. European Uppercut flurry followed up by a running dropkick from Gail. Nearfall for Gail and another after a clothesline.

ODB put in the corner by her hair. Running crossbody moves Gail Kim to the apron. Hair pull puts ODB on the mat and Gail Kim steps back inside to get a couple of nearfalls.

Forearms from Gail Kim get ducked by ODB, who delivers one of her own. Corner splash from Gail misses and ODB delivers a few strikes of her own. Back bodydrop attempt gets Gail kicked in the face. Clotheslines and shoulder bumps followed up by a fallaway slam. ODB again picks up Gail and lands a running powerslam for a nearfall.

Gail Kim floats over to the apron and shoulder bumps ODB in the stomach. Attempted leglock around the ring post gets countered by ODB. ODB wraps the legs around and tosses Gail Kim into the ring post. ODB follows her out and Gail trips up ODB to toss her into the steel steps as the count of the referee expires.

Double countout

Both ladies continuing after the bell with takedowns and strikes.

AJ Styles backstage. Styles has no delusions about this being any sort of dream match. Styles believes he has grown and these matches are simply about him winning. Styles promises to become the nightmare of Aries.

August 1st Warning takes us to break.

Aces & Eights meeting backstage. Bully Ray is not concerned about the offer Main Event Mafia has on the table. Bully wants to focus on Hardcore Justice and Chris Sabin and tasks Mr. Anderson to take care of Main Event Mafia.

Brooke Hogan meets Bully Ray in the doorway and informs him that the contract for his match with Chris Sabin could be very unfavorable. Hogan implies that a divorce could remedy this and Bully Ray looks powerless.

Bound for Glory Series Match Five: Austin Aries vs. AJ Styles

Lockup between the two leads to a stalemate. AJ Styles grabs a side headlock, but Austin Aries sends him off the ropes. Armdrag into another side headlock from Styles. The two collide in the middle of the ring after being sent off the ropes. Aries moves outside to regroup.

Lockup inside leads to a Styles arm wrench. Aries with one of his own into a fireman's carry. Armbar from Aries countered out of by Styles. The two men have counters upon counters in store for each other. Lockup once again sees Aries grab a side headlock. Styles takes the back, but Aries reverses and gets a rollup for an earfall.

Aries sent outside and Styles attempts a running dropkick, but Aries sidesteps. Styles has his head bounced off the apron and Aries heads up top. Splash from the top connects.

Back inside, Aries attempts to head up top, but Styles catches him with an enzuigiri. Aries tumbles to the outside and Styles leaps over the top with a crossbody. Action remains on the outside as we break.

Styles in control as we return. Dropkick plants Aries as he comes off the ropes. Snapmare from Styles is followed up by a kick to the spine. Styles locks up a full nelson and walks Aries around the ring. German Suplex from the submission sends Aries back out to the floor.

Styles runs out to smash the head of Aries into the mat before bringing it back inside. Neck crank from Styles cinched in. Aries slowly fights to his feet and uses strikes to the midsection to fight out. Elbow to the neck from Styles ends this. Aries cornered, but he gets a back elbow. Discus forearm and lariat lead to elbow strikes for Aries. Aries looking for a suplex, but Styles gets him up first. Aries rolls through for a nearfall.

Aries sent to the apron. Shoulder to the stomach and a reverse hangman's neckbreaker on the back of the neck of Styles. Up top, Aries flies to connect with a missile dropkick. Styles cornered and Aries gets a running dropkick. Suplex attempts from Aries fail, so he sits Styles up top and lands strikes. Aries meets him up top and gets a superplex. Styles lands on his feet and hits a neckbreaker as Aries hangs on. Nearfall for Styles.

Styles moves to the apron and attempts the 450 splash, but no one there. Aries locks in a headlock and unloads knees to the top of the head. Last Chancery locked right in. Styles struggling to survive and gouging the face of Aries to escape. Styles rolls into the Calf Killer as the men return to the feet. Aries now the one struggling, but he crossfaces Styles with the wrist to get back up. Brainbuster connects for a close nearfall.

Aries up top and he attempts a 450 splash of his own, only to land on the knees of Styles. Styles clotheslines Aries to the ramp and attempts a springboard attack. Aries kicks the top rope and Styles lands on his stomach. Aries looks for a Brainbuster, but Styles with a front suplex on the ramp. Styles Clash attempt is countered into a back drop from the ramp to the floor.

The referee nearing the end of his count as Aries enters the ring. Aries looking for more offense and attempts a suicide dive, only for Styles to sidestep and send Aries careening into the steel steps. Both men down and out on the floor as the referee is running out of numbers.

Both men make it back with a second to spare. Forearm shots, punches, and everything but the kitchen sink being traded. Aries takes the back and connects with a snap Saito Suplex. Discus forearm connects. Aries pauses, only to be nailed with a Pele Kick. Styles collapses and both men down with the arms draped over each other. Aries with the shoulder up at the last second.

Winner by pinfall: Austin Aries

Main Event Mafia makes their way out. Sting says that they are slowly accomplishing all of their goals and they want to fight Aces & Eights. Sting believes this will all start by giving them an offer they can't refuse.

Aces & Eights make their way out, lead by Mr. Anderson. Anderson says the group didn't get the fight they wanted because Angle was left in the back of a pickup truck. Anderson believes Main Event Mafia is cheating and says Aces & Eights will not back down.

Kurt Angle proposes a five-on-five tag match for Hardcore Justice. The person pinned at the end will be forced to leave TNA.

The group brawls and Aces & Eights is sent outside. Mr. Anderson accepts the match for Hardcore Justice as the lights are killed.

Tito Ortiz makes his way down the ramp and both groups look confused as to which side he is on as the show closes.
