WWE Main Event: The Shield battle The Usos and Justin Gabriel

Gold seems to be the jewelry of choice for The Shield as of late. Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns hold the WWE Tag Team Champions, while WWE United States Champion Dean Ambrose battles on the singles scene. Tonight on WWE Main Event, all of The Shield will be in action against the rival Usos and Justin Gabriel. Will momentum favor the champions? All that and more on this week's edition of WWE Main Event!

We are on tape from Dayton, Ohio. Josh Mathews, The Miz, and Cody Rhodes have the call for this week.

Match One: The Shield vs. The Usos & Justin Gabriel

Match starts with Dean Ambrose squaring up with Justin Gabriel. Lockup and reversals galore. Wristlock from Ambrose is turned into an armdrag for Gabriel. Shoulder bump by Ambrose leads to a Gabriel dropkick. Ambrose clubs him down.

Seth Rollins in. Double-team suplex is flipped out of by Gabriel. He clotheslines Ambrose, but Rollins ducks to sneak a kick to the gut. Rollins and Gabriel exchanging strikes. Gabriel sent to the apron after an exchange. Forearm followed by a springboard crossbody for a nearfall.

Jey Uso in for some brief offense before bringing in Jimmy Uso. Rollins sent into the corner and a double-team splash. Rollins sent into another corner and a running forearm splash follows. Rollins downed in the corner and Ambrose yanks him away for the save as we break.

Gabriel in with Rollins as we return. Roman Reigns brought in and Gabriel seems to be worn down. Gabriel fights out of the corner and flips over Reigns to get a break.

Jey Uso in and he unleashes forearms and kicks to Reigns. Jey off the ropes, but he runs into a brutal punch from Reigns. Stomps lead to Ambrose being brought in, where he continues the stomping. Elbow drop grabs him a nearfall.

Ambrose locks in a sleeper hold. Jey looking to fight out and he gets out of the hold, only to be stifled down so Seth Rollins can be brought in. Rollins with some shots before bringing in Reigns. Reigns with the powerful strikes and a scoop slam. A cornered Jey takes more punishment. Reigns steps off, allowing Jey to fight back for a moment. Snapmare and sleeper from Reigns ends that run of offense. Jey fighting out of it and the tag is stopped, but only for a moment as Jey connects with a superkick. Both men down.

Dean Ambrose and Jimmy Uso in. Jimmy cleaning house with strikes and a kick. Samoan Drop to Ambrose and full-nelso bomb to Rollins. Running butt bump in the corner gets a nearfall on Ambrose.

Ambrose off the ropes, but he counters a bodydrop with a kick. Both men running towards each other and both land crossbodies. Jimmy seems to have taken the brunt of it on his knee and rolls to his corner.

Justin Gabriel in. He heads up top. Reigns tries to meet him, but Gabriel shoos him away with an elbow. The Usos take care of both men, but Ambrose is up and tosses Gabriel from the top. Headlock driver connects.

Winners by pinfall: The Shield

Raw Recap details the budding feud that began between Brock Lesnar and CM Punk.

Prior to the match, Zeb Colter has a few words about his client. Colter says Cesaro represents the ideals him and Jack Swagger preach. Colter believes that Sin Cara wears a mask so he can anonymously leach from America. Colter says that Sin Cara doesn't have the pride of Cesaro.

Match Two: Antonio Cesaro (w/Zeb Colter) vs. Sin Cara

Lockup and Antonio Cesaro tosses Sin Cara to the mat. Lockup again and Cesaro with a judo trip. Cesaro working multiple pinfall attempts before Sin Cara bridges out to flip him up into an arm drag.

Cesaro goes outside after another arm drag to discuss a plan with Colter. Cesaro back in with a kick to the gut. European Uppercut downs Sin Cara. Cesaro working Sin Cara into the mat. Sin Cara sent off the ropes, but he hits a springboard hurricanrana. Cesaro stops this momentum with a strike. Sin Cara sent to the apron, where he eats a hangman's neckbreaker.

Action moves outside. Cesaro locks the head of Sin Cara and slings him into the barricade with brutal force. The referee begins his count and Cesaro heads inside. Sin Cara on his way back to the ring as we break.

We return with Cesaro maintaining control. Sleeper hold locked in on Sin Cara. Sin Cara fights to his feet, but he goes off the ropes and eats a huge powerslam from Cesaro. Stomp to the chest and gutwrench throw from Cesaro. Cesaro wants the mask, but Sin Cara kicks him away. Swift leg kicks from Sin Cara.followed up by a tilt-a-whirl headscissors takeover. Springboard arm drag converts.

Cesaro moves to the outside once again, but Sin Cara heads up top. Crossbody flattens Cesaro on the floor. Action moves back inside with a corkscrew splash from the apron by Sin Cara. Close nearfall on Cesaro.

Sin Cara looking for the springboard back elbow, but Cesaro catches him in the sleeper hold. Sin Cara struggles out with a jawbreaker. Cesaro cornered and Sin Cara floats over to the apron with an enzuigiri. Hurricanrana rollup gets Sin Cara a nearfall.

Leg kick and forearms by Sin Cara. Cesaro sends him off the ropes, presses him into the air, then connects with a European Uppercut. Nearfall leads to Cesaro putting Sin Cara out with the sleeper. Neutralizer lands.

Winner by pinfall: Antonio Cearo

Match Three: Kaitlyn vs. Aksana

Lockup and Kaitlyn muscles Aksana into the corner. Aksana with a kick and then drives Kaitlyn into the mat. Aksana hiding between the ropes as Kaitlyn chases her, then hits a back elbow. Aksana smashing the face in the mat, kicking, elbowing, and throwing everything but the kitchen sink at Kaitlyn. Neck crank keeps Aksana in control. Sidewalk slam and a kick to the face gets Aksana a nearfall.

Neck crank locked in once again for Aksana. Kaitlyn fights out and hits a backbreaker. Both ladies down. Kaitlyn with a shoulder block and a back elbow. Facebuster follows. Aksana cornered, but Kaitlyn misses. Aksana fights Kaitlyn down, but runs into the boots of Kaitlyn. Kaitlyn off the ropes with a spear.

Winner by pinfall: Kaitlyn
