TNA Impact: Bully Ray, Sting have final encounter

TNA Slammiversary is on Sunday night. There, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray and Sting will battle in a no holds barred match for the belt. Tonight on TNA Impact, the two have their final encounter before the battle on Sunday. What will go down? All of that and more on this week's edition of TNA Impact.

Recap of all the latest events in TNA.

Aces & Eights discussing the importance of inducting AJ Styles into the gang this week. D'Lo Brown tells Mr. Anderson he is sorry for how things worked out last week. TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray and TNA Television Champion Devon walk away with dirty looks. Brown begins to walk away and Anderson slams him into the wall. Devon and Anderson walk out together.

We are on tape from Tampa, Fla. Todd Keneley, Mike Tenay, and Taz have the call for this week.

Bully Ray and Devon make their way out to the ring. Bully says that, in three days, Devon will take out Joseph Park for good and he will take out Sting. Bully reminds Sting that this will be no holds barred and wonders if Sting made the right choice. Bully Ray runs down the list of men Sting has beaten, including Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, and Kurt Angle. Bully says that in three days, he will be able to do what he wants and beat down Sting. Bully calls them out for their match.

Match One: Bully Ray & Devon vs. Joseph Park & Sting

The match starts with a brawl. Bully Ray sends Joseph Park outside and Sting sends Devon out as well. Both men follow their dance partners outside. Joseph Park turns the tide on Bully Ray, while Sting slings Devon around ringside. Park is sent into the ring post. The brawl continues on the outside. Devon gets the upper hand on Sting. Park in control, but Bully rakes the eyes to regain the momentum.

Sting and Devon end up in the ring. However, this is only temporary. Sting takes Devon out and Bully takes Park out. The two adversaries meet up in the ring. Bully gets his punch blocked and the two men exchange blows. Double clothesline has both men down as we break.

We return with Devon and Joseph Park in the ring. Devon in control with strikes on the worn Park. Devon off the ropes, but he gets hip tossed. Scoop slam from Park. He heads up top, but the referee is distracted with Sting and Bully knocks him down. Clubbing forearms from Bully are followed by a clothesline from Devon. Nearfall for Devon.

Bully in with a clothesline. Bully clubbing Park down with punches, then sends Sting off the apron with a punch. Elbow drop from Bully gets a nearfall.

Devon in again. Leg drop connects and Devon plays to the crowd with some Hulk Hogan poses. Nearfall for Devon. Devon locks in the chin lock on Park. Park slowly fighting to his feet. Park out, but he eats a corkscrew elbow from Devon.

Bully back in and he puts Park down with a dropkick. Devon in and the two attempt to sandwich Park. Park ducks and tags in Sting. Sting comes in and cleans house. Scorpion Deathlock locked in on Devon. Bully gets tripped by Park, who wants to do the same, but Bully kicks him into Sting to prevent this. Park falls outside. Double-team sends Sting into the corner, but he comes out with a double-clothesline. Sting hits a Scorpion Splash on Devon, but misses on Bully. 3D on Sting. Devon looking for the diving headbutt to the groin.

The music of Abyss hits. Bully heads to the apron to meet him. Park is safe and overjoyed about seeing his brother. No one comes out yet and Sting pushes Devon off the top and hits the Scorpion Deathdrop.

Winners by pinfall: Joseph Park & Sting

After the match, Sting stares down Bully Ray. Park looks disappointed about not seeing his brother.

Kurt Angle backstage. Angle is happy Styles didn't join Aces & Eights, but he thinks Styles will still pay the price on Sunday.

TNA President Dixie Carter makes her way to the ring. Carter says that they will be announcing the next new member of the TNA Hall of Fame on Sunday. Carter says that Sting was the last inductee and wishes him luck on Sunday.

Aces & Eights make their way out. Wes Brisco, D.O.C., and Garrett Bischoff hit the ring. Bischoff wants to know where the love for Aces & Eights is. Bischoff informs Carter that the match Sunday between Bully Ray and Sting will be more like a funeral. The group begins to corner Carter. Samoa Joe and Magnus bolt out to make the save and scare the gang away.

Joe says he has waited one month to get his revenge on the group. Joe calls out Bischoff into the ring.

Match Two: Samoa Joe vs. Garrett Bischoff

Garrett Bischoff with a cheap shot to start. Samoa Joe sent into the corner and Bischoff unloads punches. Joe eats them and clobbers Bischoff with a chop. Punches and a corner splash are followed up by an enzuigiri from Joe. Bischoff down as we break.

We return with Joe putting down Bischoff with a boot. Joe tripped up as he attempts to go off the ropes. Magnus goes to take the two out, but he is overwhelmed. Bischoff knocks Joe down and heads outside to beat on Magnus.

Winner by disqualification: Samoa Joe

Joe stops the attack by landing a cannonball of a suicide dive to take out all of the members. Joe says that he planned this and had a tag match for Sunday made. Aces & Eights will take on Joe, Magnus, and the returning Jeff Hardy.

Recap of Gunner becoming the tag partner of James Storm. The two are shown backstage. Storm claims that the two have formed a brotherhood and they are ready to go as a team.

Brooke Hogan and Hulk Hogan discussing Bully Ray. Hulk wants to know why Brooke was falling for Bully last week. Brooke said that he is still technically her husband and that is tugged at her heart strings. Hulk says to focus on the Knockouts because Sting will take care of it all on Sunday.

Match Three: Bad Influence, Austin Aries, and Bobby Roode vs. Chavo Guerrero, Hernandez, James Storm, and Gunner

Match starts with Gunner and Christopher Daniels. Gunner works Daniels into the corner and the referee breaks them. Daniels with a cheap shot that just angers Gunner. Gunner takes control. Back bodydrop sends Daniels rolling outside to regroup.

Daniels moves back in and force Aries to come in. Aries gets in and gets pumped, then forces Roode into the ring. Lockup and Roode gets the side headlock and hammerlock. Gunner reverses it, but Roode puts him into the corner. Roode unloading strikes and sends Gunner into the corner, but runs into the boots of Gunner. Clothesline and Gunner tags out.

Chavo Guerrero in and stomping Roode into the mat. Scoop slam and Hernandez in. Guerrero scoop slammed on top orf Roode and a splash from Hernandez gets a nearfall. Guerrero once again brought in and he hits a running dropkick. Roode turns the tide for a moment, only to receive Three Amigos. Guerrero up top. He kicks away Kazarian and Daniels, but Aries rushes in to send him outside with a dropkick.

Guerrero brought back inside and Aries in. Roode slingshots Guerrero into an Aries forearm. Corkscrew splash inside from Aries gets a nearfall. Daniels tags himself in and the team starts using dirty offense to take the momentum. Running neckbreaker gets Kazarian a nearfall after a tag.

Bobby Roode in again and he lays stomps on Guerrero. Kazarian in again and he locks in the sleeper. Guerrero fights out, but Kaz rakes the eyes. Kaz spits on the opposing corner and the referee restrains the group as the team lays in dirty offense. Guerrero ducks an attack from Bad Influence and tags out.

Hernandez and Roode legal now and Hernandez lighting him up. Clotheslines, chops for Roode. Aries taken out with a shoulder bump. Roode hit with a battering ram. Aries pressed into the air and dropped. Backbreaker on Roode gets a nearfall as Bad Influence makes the save. Hernandez soon dispatches of them. Daniels escapes the Border Toss and Aries uses this to hit a running dropkick. Brainbuster attempt is countered and Hernandez tags out.

Gunner in with a backbreaker. Torture Rack backbreaker on Aries prompts Aries to quit.

Winners by submission: Chavo Guerrero, Hernandez, James Storm, and Gunner

AJ Styles is shown arriving at the arena.

Aces & Eights meeting backstage. Bully Ray says that Anderson better take care of Styles. Bully Ray designates everyone to take care of all of their opponents and says that he has a job for Knux tonight. Bully wants victims tonight or someone will end up like D'Lo Brown.

Video package announces that TNA Bound for Glory will be held in San Diego, Calif.

TNA Knockouts Champion Mickie James makes her way out. James wanted to thank everyone who has supported her through this year. James says that there has been a group of people that have questioned her way of winning the title and calls Velvet Sky out to the ring.

Sky makes her way out. James reminds Sky that she wanted to wait for Sky to be 100%, but Sky wanted to be a fighting champion. James said that it was a shame that Sky's knee went out and lost her belt. James asks the crowd to give it up for the champion Sky "was." Sky says she wants a rematch at Slammiversary and James is reluctant.

Gail Kim makes her way out. Gail Kim says that she is going to take out Taryn Terrell at Slammiversary and that she will be earning the top spot. Sky says that she is the top contender and Kim responds by kicking her in the leg. Taryn Terrell saves Sky from further damage and Mickie James walks out with an unsympathetic look.

TNA X Division Champion Kenny King makes his way out and the match will kick off after the break.

Match Four: Chris Sabin & Taryn Terrell vs. Kenny King & Gail Kim

The ladies start. Taryn Terrell is taking it to Gail Kim with strikes and brawling tactics. Running neckbreaker from Terrell. Terrell slamming Kim into the corner over and over. Kim escapes to the apron, but Terrell flattens her with a clothesline and lands a suplex to bring her inside. Terrell up top and hits a crossbody for a nearfall.

Kenny King and Chris Sabin brought inside. Sabin with chops. Arm drags into an armbar by Sabin. King works his way back up and gets a hammerlock. He almost sends Sabin into Terrell, then clobbers him from behind with a clothesline. Enzuigiri from King gets a nearfall.

King locks in a neck crank. Sabin hip tosses his way out and goes off the ropes, but Gail Kim with a kick to the back. Spin kick from King gets him a nearfall. Scoop slam by King leads to a failed springboard dropkick. Sabin takes control with clotheslines. Spinning back kick to the stomach and a spinning slam earns Sabin a nearfall.

Gail Kim grabs a handful of hair on Sabin. Terrell chases her into the ring, but is cut off by King. Sabin catches a kick from Kim and turns her around into a spear from Terrell. King tries a spinning kick, but Sabin ducks it. Hail Sabin driver connects.

Winners by pinfall: Chris Sabin & Taryn Terrell

Post-match, Sabin begins to talk up his comeback. King attacks him from behind and has him up, but Suicide makes the save. Gutbuster on King. Sabin and Suicide staring each other down over the belt.

Match Five: Mr. Anderson vs. AJ Styles

Mr. Anderson unloads with strikes to start. AJ Styles fights out of the corner with strikes of his own. Chops in the corner on Anderson. Anderson eats turnbuckle, then gets leg kicked. Anderson turns it around with strikes of his own. Side headlock from Anderson followed by a shoulder block. Anderson off the ropes, but Styles trips him up and kicks him in the ribs. Scoop slam and an elbow drop from Styles. Suplex for a nearfall from Styles.

Anderson sent hard into the corner. Styles with right hands, but Anderson out with a kick to the torso. Anderson again using fists to take control. Styles stomped down in the corner. Styles on the apron, but he turns it around and hits a hangman's neckbreaker on Anderson. Anderson tossed outside by Styles. Running dropkick sends Anderson into the announce table as we break.

Styles in control as we return. Anderson on the apron. Both men attempting a suplex. Anderson finally brings Styles to the apron. The referee trying to get Styles to let go of the ropes and Styles shoves him away. Anderson with an eye poke and he lands a facebuster on the apron.

Action spills to the floor now. Styles sent back first into the apron. Back inside, Anderson grabs a nearfall.

Styles getting stomped into the mat. Shot to the body brings Styles back in. Chop to the chest from Styles. Back bodydrop from Anderson stops this and grabs a nearfall. Keylock in for Anderson. Styles fights up and gets out with body shots. Styles with a rollup off the ropes for a nearfall. Anderson hits a shoulder bump for a nearfall to regain control.

Anderson driving the knees into the left arm of Styles. Armbar locked in. Styles again fighting out and drives Anderson into the corner with a shoulder block. The men exchanging right hands in the middle of the ring. Styles unleashes a combination and caps it off with a clothesline to knock Anderson down. Head kick from Styles followed by a splash for a nearfall.

Styles puts Anderson up, but Anderson gets the back. Styles runs for the corner and rams Anderson into the turnbuckle. Styles looking for a tornado DDT, but Anderson turns him around and hits a punch. Rolling fireman's carry gets Anderson a nearfall.

Anderson looking for a finish, but Styles catches him and puts him up top. Anderson in the tree of woe in the corner and Anderson eats a running dropkick to the head.

Kurt Angle inside and he attacks Styles.

Winner by dusqualification: Mr. Anderson

All-out brawl between Aces & Eights and the TNA roster begins. Styles and Angle fighting up the ramp.

Sting and Bully Ray inside the ring go face-to-face. Sting blocks the strikes from Bully, but the two end up trading blow after blow. Sting fired up and he trips Bully. Scorpion Deathlock in, but Devon with a cheap shot punch to the back of the head. 3D plants Sting.

The show closes with TNA members down across the arena and Aces & Eights stranding triumphant over Sting in the ring.
