Smackdown!: Six Man tag match previews Extreme Rules
By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

Some real bad news came down this week if you were looking forward to the Triple Threat Ladder match at Extreme Rules. World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler has been sidelined with a concussion after getting kicked in the head by Jack Swagger (for real), so now the match if for number one contender status in an "I Quit" match between Swagger and Alberto Del Rio. If you all ready ordered the show, you just learned and important lesson in patience.

Miz TV kicks off the show from Wichita, Kansas. The Miz welcomes Big Show and Randy Orton, who will face each other on Sunday, to the set. Even though their match has no rules, Show says he doesn't need weapons, he all ready has one attached to his wrist. Orton responds by saying that he won't get knocked out in his hometown.

Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter walk down saying that Swagger will make Del Rio quit. Colter spouts more of his rhetoric, but Del Rio comes out to deliver his rebuttal. And now for some reason, Mark Henry sticks his nose into the proceedings. Oh yea, he has a match with Sheamus. And now here comes Sheamus, I smell a six-man tag team match brewing. Sheamus storms the ring with a strap and the heels scatter.

After the break, Teddy Long gives me what I didn't really want, a six man tag match.

Match #1 - Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns w/ Dean Ambrose vs. The Usos

Yea, The Shield isn't losing this match. Reigns spears Jay Uso and covers to get the win

Winner via pinfall: Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns

After the bell, Uso is getting the boots put to him by The Shield and Kofi Kingston runs in to make the save. Kofi is outnumbered, but evens the odds with a chair.

The Miz is having a little chat with Teddy Long, when Damien Sandow proposes he get his own talk show and Teddy can produce it. Teddy wants Sandow to show him what he can do in the ring, against The Miz.

Renee Young tries to interview Jack Swagger, but Zeb Colter hijacks the microphone. Colter says Swagger made a statement on Monday and he will make one when he beats Big E Langston tonight.

Match #2 Tons of Funk vs. The Prime Time Players

The match is in progress after a commercial and Sweet T is in trouble. Titus O'Neil nails T with a fore arm on the outside and rolls him back in. O'Neil tags in, but misses a splash in the corner, allowing Brodus to tag in. Darren Young gets caught in the ring alone, and is hit with a double splash. Brodus covers and gets the win.

Winner via pinfall: Tons of Funk

Match #3 Chris Jericho vs. Antonio Cesaro

Cesaro and Jericho lock up and Jericho gets the advantage with a side headlock. Cesaro powers out of the hold. Jericho connects with a drop kick as Cesaro shoots off the ropes. Jericho follows with another drop kick off the top turnbuckle. Cesaro takes a break on the apron, but Jericho catches him with a springboard drop kick. Cesaro hits the floor and we go to break.

After the commercial, Cesaro has a head lock applied. Jericho fights out of it, taking Cesaro down with a shoulder block. Y2J follows with a double axe handle. Cesaro blocks the Lionsault by getting his knees up. Cesaro pounds away at Jericho and whips him into the corner. Jericho leaps Cesaro in the corner and hits an enziguri. Cesaro answers with a tilt-a-whirl back breaker and looks for the Neutralizer. Jericho counters in the Walls, but Cesaro powers out. Jericho goes up top, but Cesaro catches him with an uppercut in mid-air. Jericho kicks out of the pin. Jericho counters the gut wrench into The Walls of Jericho. Cesaro taps out.

Winner via submission: Chris Jericho

After the match, Summer Rae dances onto the stage to distract Jericho. Fandango tries to jump Jericho from behind, but Jericho runs him off. Y2J the nails Cesaro with the Code Breaker for good measure.

Hey, Colter and Swagger and making videos again. And this one is really politically charged.

Match #4 The Miz vs. Damien Sandow

Cody Rhodes joins the announce team, because he is going to feud with Miz. Sandow rolls to the outside and Miz connects with a double axe handle off the apron. Rhodes gets on the mic, trying to rally the crowd behind Sandow. Sandow drops Miz into the middle rope and drives his leg across his back. Sandow drops The Elbow of Disdain, but Miz kicks out. Miz hits a running knee and follows with a clothesline in the corner. Miz looks for the figure four and is able to lock it in after chasing Rhodes off the apron. Sandow taps out.

Winner via pinfall: The Miz

Match #5 Kaitlyn vs. Aksana - WWE Divas Title Match

Kaitlyn beats Aksana with a spear to retain the Divas Belt.

Winner via pinfall: Kaitlyn

Match #6 Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus and Randy Orton vs. Jack Swagger, Mark Henry and The Big Show

Del Rio knocks Swagger to the mat and kicks him in the back. Orton makes a blind tag and stomps away at Swagger. Orton shoots Swagger off the ropes, but Swagger takes him down with a tackle. Orton responds with a standing drop kick. Del Rio tags back in, as Swagger is knocked to the floor. Del Rio dives through the ropes to take out Swagger. Show distracts Del Rio allowing Swagger to knock him off the top turnbuckle. Show tags in, and chops Del Rio in the corner. Show drops an elbow on Del Rio, and we go to break.

After the break, Swagger is all over Del Rio. Show tags in and prevents Del Rio from making a tag. Sheamus is able to get a tag and is able to get Show up for White Noise. Sheamus knocks Henry off the apron and winds up the Brogue kick. Show blocks it, and choke slams Sheamus. Swagger tags in, dropping a leg on Sheamus. Mark Henry finally tags in, beating on a softened up Sheamus. Swagger tags in to hit the Swagger Bomb in the corner. Sheamus catches Swagger going up top again, and both men are down. Orton tags in, and hits Swagger with a back breaker, as Henry makes a blind tag, but ref misses it. Orton gets blasted as Show comes in. Show and Henry a cleared out of the ring allowing Del Rio to hit Swagger with and enziguri and Orton follows an RKO to Swagger as Sheamus connects with the Brogue kick to Show on the floor. Orton covers Swagger to get the win.

Winner via pinfall: Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus and Randy Orton
