By DALE PLUMMER -- SLAM! Wrestling

Friday Night Smackdown! is back on American soil and the push to Extreme Rules is in high gear. The Ryback-John Cena match is still a go at the Pay-per-View despite Cena's Achilles injury. First, though Kane is looking to avenge his brother after The Shield put the Undertaker through the announce table last week. As always, Michael Cole, JBL and Josh Matthews call the action.

Ryback kicks off the show to explain why he wouldn't tag with Team Hell No to take on The Shield. Ryback says Cena put himself in that match, and afterward Cena was hobbling around, so per the Law of the Jungle, Ryback took him out. RYBACK RULES! (His words, not mine.)

Match #1 Ryback vs. Daniel Bryan

Ryback tries to back Bryan into the corner, but Bryan dodges the attack and tries to chop the big man down with kicks to the legs. Ryback catches Bryan in the corner, then, beating him down to the mat. A body slam sends Bryan to mat. Bryan is tossed from the ring, but lands on his feet. Bryan catches Ryback with a drop kick coming back into the ring and then launches himself through the ropes to take out Ryback. Bryan fights out of vertical suplex, but runs into a gorilla press slam that sends him over the top rope. And we go to commercial.

After the break, Ryback has Bryan on the apron, teeing off with a series of right hands. Bryan slows him down with a shoulder to the gut, but cannot get over with a sunset flip. Bryan gets caught coming off the top rope and is slammed to the mat. Ryback hits a Thesz press, but Bryan rolls though into a single leg Boston crab. Bryan follows with a running drop kick into the corner. Bryan goes up high again, connecting with a missile drop kick, but Ryback kicks out of the pin. Ryback catches Bryan again, and both me spill over the top rope. Bryan leaps off the apron with a knee, but Ryback catches him, slams him into the ring post and throws Bryan back into the ring. Ryback hits a power bomb, twice. Ryback gets the Meat Hook clothesline revved up and is able to connect. Bryan gets Shell Shocked and Ryback covers for the win.

Winner via pinfall: Ryback

Renee Young welcomes Ricardo Rodriguez who is so excited to face Zeb Colter tonight that he answers in Spanish and then plants a kiss on Renee. Alberto Del Rio tells Ricardo he needs to calm down.

Match #2 Fandango vs. Zack Ryder

Fandango and Summer Rae.

If you were curious, Fandango now has a regular dance partner. She is Summer Rae, who was last seen over on NXT. Fandango blocks a drop kick and stomps away at Ryder. Fandango hits a side Russian Leg sweep and follows with the leg drop off the top rope. Fandango covers to pick up the win.

Winner via pinfall: Fandango

After receiving a present on RAW, Kaitlyn get flowers tonight a text from the secret admirer. From where I come from, that's called stalking and all you get in return is a restraining order. Not that I'd know from personal experience or anything.

On Monday Night John Cena helped celebrate World Wish Day with the Make-A-Wish foundation. Three kids got to come out on stage during Monday Night RAW. It's a good thing RAW was in Washington, because those kids would have booed mercilessly in Philly.

Renee Young talks to Zeb Colter, who probably won't kiss her. Colter tries to spin his loss on Monday, saying he was sick and Rodriguez stole his victory.

Match #3 Ricardo Rodriguez w/ Alberto del Rio vs. Zeb Colter w/ Jack Swagger

World Heavyweight Champion Dolph Ziggler, AJ Lee and Big E Langston join the announce table.

Colter gets up in Rodriguez's face and slaps him. Ricardo is able to mount offense as Colter is more interested in taunting Del Rio. Jack Swagger interferes and Del Rio jumps in to makes the save.

Winner via DQ: Ricardo Rodriguez

Teddy Long walks out and makes the match a tag team match

Match #4 Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez vs. Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter

We join the match in progress. Del Rio locks in the cross arm breaker, when Langston and Ziggler attack.

Winner via DQ: Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez

Teddy Long now makes this a triple threat match.

Match #5 Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez vs. Jack Swagger and Zeb Colter vs. Dolph Ziggler and Big E Langston

Langston spears Del Rio in the corner and then makes the tag to Ziggler. The champ applies a reverse chin lock, which Del Rio fights out of. Ziggler misses a splash in the corner, but is able to tag in Swagger. Del Rio hits the back stabber and Del Rio clears the ring, leaving Colter. Ziggler runs in; hitting Del Rio with a DDT. Rodriguez breaks up the pin, only to be taken out by Langston. Swagger eliminates Langston, but catches an enziguri from Del Rio. Del Rio counters the Zig Zag into a cross arm breaker and Ziggler taps out.

Winner via submission: Alberto Del Rio and Ricardo Rodriguez

The Shield has a message for Kane and they used Daniel Bryan to deliver it. They leave the tag team champ laying in the back after a beating.

Match #6 Randy Orton vs. Damien Sandow

It drives me nuts that match on Smackdown are interrupted by commercials. anyway, after another break. Sandow drops the Elbow of Disdain, but cannot get the pin. Orton answers with back body drop and Sandow rolls to the apron. Orton drops Sandow with the elevated DDT. Orton follows with an RKo and covers to get the pin.

Winner via pinfall: Randy Orton

After the match, Big Show addresses Orton. Show calls Orton out for not being a team player. Sandow attacks Orton from behind and Show thinks it's hilarious.

After checking on Daniel Bryan, Kane swears he will make The Shield pay for what they've done.

Match #7 Mark Henry vs. Sheamus - Arm Wrestling Challenge

Henry gets the victory, but after the challenge, Sheamus wants to do it left handed. Sheamus instead just clobbers Henry and finishes him off with a Brogue kick.

Winner: Mark Henry

Match #8 Kane vs. Dean Ambrose

The Shield head to the ring, with Daniel Bryan's Tag Team Title belt. Kane gets The Shield to scatter and is able to fight off Rollins and Reigns, dumping them into the crowd. Ambrose is alone in the ring and the match starts. Kane tosses Ambrose into the corner and stomps away at him. A clothesline sends Ambrose to the mat. Kane then catches Ambrose on the top turnbuckle and knocks him to the floor. And we go to another commercial.

After the break, Ambrose is in control, working over Kane's legs. Ambrose slams Kane's leg into the ring post twice. Ambrose climbs to the top, but is tossed to the mat by Kane. The Big Red Monster builds momentum with a series of rights and then a clothesline in the corner. A sidewalk slam gets Kane a near fall. Ambrose is taken down with a flying clothesline. Ambrose tries to counter a choke slam, but is unsuccessful. Kane gives the throat slash signal and looks for the tombstone, but is distracted by Rollins. Ambrose knocks Kane to the outside, but the tag team champ is able to hold his own. Back in the ring, Ambrose hits a swinging DDT and covers. Ambrose gets the three count.

Winner via pinfall: Dean Ambrose

After the bell, Kane wants more, challenging The Shield to enter the ring. Kane tries to fight off his attackers, but the numbers are too much. Kane is beaten to the mat, but is able to fight off the triple power bomb. Rollins answers with a spear and Kane is down. The Shield takes Kane for ride with a triple power bomb. The show ends with The Shield stand over Kane with the Tag Team Championship belts.
