TNA Impact: Bully Ray, Hardy battle in Full Metal Mayhem

After losing his TNA World Heavyweight Championship to Aces & Eights president Bully Ray at Lockdown, Jeff Hardy has been focused on regaining the gold. Tonight on TNA Impact, he gets a chance to regain that belt. The catch is that it could be a career-ending match, as he takes on Bully Ray in Full Metal Mayhem. All that and more on this week's edition of TNA Impact.
Recap of all the current events in TNA kicks off the show.
Jeff Hardy is seen entering the building. Hulk Hogan greets him and asks if he is ready for tonight. Hardy says he is born ready and wants his title back.
We are LIVE from Corpus Christi, Texas. Todd Keneley, Mike Tenay, and Taz have the call.
Match One for the TNA Tag Team Championships: Bobby Roode & Austin Ares (c) vs. Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez
This match will be contested in two out of three falls.
Former professional boxer Jesse James Leija walks out with the Texas flag for Guerrero & Hernandez. As they escort him to his seat, Roode & Aries attack the group from behind. Guerrero is sent into the steel post by Aries, while Hernandez is sent into the steel steps twice by Roode.
Match officially starts with Roode and Aries double-teaming Guerrero. Running dropkick from Aries and spinebuster from Roode.
Fall One: Bobby Roode & Austin Aries via pinfall.
Aries wants Roode to tag him in and he does. Aries up top and spending a lot of time irritating the crowd. He tries a frog splash, but Guerrero moves out of the way. Guerrero rolls up Aries.
Fall Two: Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez via pinfall.
Bobby Roode in and he beats Guerrero down. Roode stomping Guerrero down in the corner. Aries sneaks in some dirty offense. Roode with a Saito suplex for a nearfall.
Aries in and keeping Guerrero grounded with stomps for a nearfall. Aries working Guerrero in the corner before tagging in Roode. Roode takes Guerrero to another corner and stomps him down. Roode runs into a back elbow and Guerrero attempts a tornado DDT. No dice, but Guerrero lands a dropkick.
Hernandez tagged in and cleans house. Hernandez with a shoulder block to Roode. Aries gorilla pressed and then dropped. Hernandez moves out to the ramp and hits a flying double clothesline on Roode and Aries as we break.
We return with Aries keeping Hernandez down on the outside. Roode tosses Hernandez inside and gets a nearfall. Sleeper in for Roode. Roode with a running neckbreaker. Aries in with a flying European uppercut for a nearfall.
Roode tags back in and they work the leg of Hernandez. Roode knocks Guerrero off the apron, allowing Hernandez to work the midsection. Roode rakes the eyes and Aries is brought in on a blind tag. Hernandez uses this to land a double clothesline.
Guerrero in and he begins to clean house, sending both members outside. Crossbody from Guerrero takes out both men. Roode back inside and Guerrero gets a nearfall. Aries in, but Guerrero gets two out of the Three Amigos on him. Roode interferes, but he gets Three Amigos. Guerrero up top, but Aries pushes him down. Roode with a handful of tights for a nearfall.
Roode locks in a crossface on Guerrero, but Hernandez breaks it. Aries sends Hernandez outside. Hernandez comes back inside with a battering ram, but Aries soon dispatches of him. Guerrero dropped and Roode gets a nearfall.
Guerrero is able to turn the tide with a DDT on Roode, but nearfall is broken by Aries. Aries takes Guerrero up top, but Hernandez brings him down. Double suplex from Hernandez. Guerrero still up top and he gets a Frog Splash on Roode.
Winners by pinfall and new TNA Tag Team Champions: Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez
Joey Ryan catches up with Brooke Hogan. Ryan tells her that she doesn't need to apologize for the way the Knockouts acted and he is ready to show who is the "bigger man" tonight. Brooke is disgusted and tells Ryan that he has a match tonight to see who is really the "bigger man."
Aces & Eights are shown riding into the parking lot, celebrating tonight's matches.
Joseph Park makes his way to the ring. Park says he'd like to discuss some issues. Park calls out Aces & Eights, specifically Bully Ray. Park says the heinous actions of Aces & Eights will stop now. Park wants to serve justice to the gang, hoping Jeff Hardy does it in tonight's main event.
Park says things won't end there. Park tells Bully Ray that he has annulment papers drawn up to end the marriage between Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan.
TNA Television Champion and Aces & Eights member Devon enters. He tells Park that if he has a problem with Bully Ray, he has a problem with him. Devon warns Park to stay out of family business and rips up the papers. Park picks them up, but Devon wraps a chain around his fist and slugs Park in the stomach.

Match Two: Gail Kim vs. Taryn Terrell
Your special referee for this match is none other than ODB.
Gail Kim wants nothing to do with this match, but ODB picks her up and sits her on the apron. Terrell tosses Gail Kim back in and the proceedings have no officially begun.
Clotheslines and suplex from Terrell. Kim cornered and a monkey flip from Terrell. Gail Kim tries to matador Terrell into the corner, but instead gets hit with a back elbow. Terrell up top, but Gail Kim sweeps her leg and drops her to the mat. Gail Kim slams Terrell's head into the turnbuckle.
ODB breaks Gail Kim out of the corner. Gail Kim lands a back elbow on Terrell. Gail Kim picks Terrell up and drops her on the mat. Gail Kim choking Terrell on the second rope, making ODB break up the illegal hold. Gail Kim sent into the corner. She floats over and hits a rollup, but only gets a nearfall for holding the trunks.
ODB breaks the pin attempt and sends Gail Kim into the corner. Terrell is right there with a rollup of her own.
Winner by pinfall: Taryn Terrell
Post-match, Terrell celebrates and Gail Kim gets chased to the back by ODB. Christy Hemme conducts a brief interview with Taryn Terrell, who wonders what will be next for her.
TNA Gut Check competitors Adam Pearce and Magno will have their fates determined next.
TNA Gut Check judges are shown deliberating earlier in the day about last week's matchup between Adam Pearce and Magno.
Bruce Pritchard informs Adam Pearce that he will not be taken to the ring and he is eliminated.
Video package recaps the rise and fall of AJ Styles.
Hulk Hogan says tonight is full of pressure regarding the TNA World Heavyweight Championship, but he wants to deal with AJ Styles next. He no-comments a question about Sting before wandering off.
AJ Styles shown walking into the building. Styles remains silent as the cameraman asks his intentions on joining Aces & Eights. Mr. Anderson comes up to further encourage Styles, handing him his member's jacket.
Hulk Hogan makes his way to the ring. Hogan plays to the crowd, then calls Styles down to the ring. Hogan asks what side Styles is on, saying that this is an ultimatum. Styles snatches the mic and says he doesn't respond to ultimatums.
"Cowboy" James Storm enters. Storm says he isn't here to figure out what side Styles is on, but he is out here to fight.
Bad Influence make their way out. Kazarian says he isn't here to start things, but he wants to mend fences with Styles. Kaz says it makes sense for either side to recruit Styles. Christopher Daniels says that Styles will be used by either side. Daniels wants Styles to join their side. Daniels wants Style to stand with his brothers.
Storm and Styles get into it a little. Storm is impatient and wants to know what side Styles is on. Styles simply walks away again. Hogan says that he's made his decision for Styles, placing him in a match with Storm next week.
Kurt Angle says that this week, the balance of power will go back to TNA. Angle says he will do his part next week, as he faces off against both Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco.
Match Three: Joey Ryan vs. Rob Terry
Ryan tries to hit on Hemme prior to Terry entering, to which Hemme responds negatively.
Ryan off the ropes, but runs right into a shoulder block. Shoulder block again from Terry. Huge hip toss from Terry. Monster chop to the chest of Ryan. And another. Terry just manhandling Ryan, putting him down with a scoop slam. Clothesline in the corner leads to a powerslam from Terry. Beast Mode lands.
Winner by pinfall: Rob Terry
Magno's Gut Check judgment will come next.
Hulk Hogan talking with Brooke Hogan. Hulk warns Brooke to be careful tonight when watching the Hardy vs. Bully main event tonight.
Matt Morgan comes up, telling Hulk Hogan all of this could have been avoided without the signature "Hogan mistakes." Morgan warns Hogan that all of his mistakes could come down on him soon.
TNA Gut Check judgment begins with the introduction of Danny Davis, Bruce Prichard, and Al Snow by Jeremy Borash.
Magno makes his way down the ramp. Danny Davis does not give his seal of approval. Magno is given his chance to "kick out," as he states that he wants to meet this goal of being a TNA talent. Bruce Prichard ends those dreams with a negative vote.
Aces & Eights are outside revving up their motorcycles, getting Bully Ray hyped up for his match. Mr. Anderson reminds Bully Ray that "when you ride with Aces & Eights, you never walk alone." Bully Ray wants to walk alone tonight, begging the group to swear to him that they'll let him win this match by himself.
Brooke Hogan gets her front-row seat.
Match Four for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Bully Ray (c) vs. Jeff Hardy
Jeff Hardy with a Twist of Fate, then a splash in the corner. Punches and Hardy is going full-throttle. Steel chair in hand and Hardy cracks it across the back of Bully Ray. Hardy maneuvers a ladder into the corner and sends Bully into it face-first. Whisper in the Wind on Bully.
Hardy sets up the ladder in the middle of the ring. Hardy fingertips away before Bully tilts the ladder over. Hardy lands his step-over kick, sending Bully reeling into the ropes. Hardy charges Bully, who back bodydrops Hardy onto the ramp violently. Bully whips the chain across the back of Hardy.
Ladder set up in the middle and Bully making his way up there. Hardy makes his way up the ladder and the two exchange punch after punch. Bully rakes the eyes. Bully grabs the facelock and hits a superplex from the top of the ladder. Both men out of it as we break.
We return with Jeff Hardy sprawled on a table in the middle of the ring and Bully up top. Hardy leaps up with a few punches, then cracks Bully across the head with a steel chair. Hardy sets up the ladder upside down on its top rung, looking to superplex Bully into it. Bully turns the tide and punches Hardy down. Front suplex sandwiches Hardy between the ladder.
Brooke Hogan is irate at ringside. Bully Ray throws out the damaged ladder, then smacks Hardy with a steel chair on the leg. Bully sets up a table and heads to the ramp to get a new ladder.
Bully sets up the ladder in the corner, then turns his attention to Hardy. Hardy up with clotheslines and an inverted atomic drop. Leg drop to the groin of Bully. Hardy tosses Bully a chair, then swings a chair in the face of Bully.
Bully outside and Hardy tries to get a flying attack on him, but Bully ducks and Hardy eats the barricade. Bully and Brooke getting into it at ringside. Bully Ray wants a kiss, but Bully is smacked across the face. Hardy slams Bully into the steel steps, then sets him up on a table. The table collapses under the weight of Bully.
Hardy goes all the way up the ramp to get a table. Him and Bully exchange blows when Hardy gets back to the area. Twist of Fate puts Bully down on the table and Hardy goes up top. Swanton Bomb onto Bully through the table.
Hardy stumbling inside and sets up the ladder. Bully just getting up, but Taz hands him a hammer. Bully climbs the ladder and the two exchange blows. Bully clubs Hardy on the head with the hammer, sending him plummeting through the table below.

Aces & Eights come out to celebrate with their president. Bully grabs the mic and asks the crowd if they know who this group is. Bully reminds the crowd that you never walk alone when you ride with Aces & Eights to close the show.
