TNA Impact: Bully Ray, Aces & Eights run amok

Since TNA Lockdown, TNA World Heavyweight Champion Bully Ray and the Aces & Eights have taken their orders of business to the next level. No matter where you turn, Aces & Eights likely have a part in it. On tonight's edition of TNA Impact, the gang takes on Team TNA in a ten-man tag match, while Bully Ray wants to have a chat with his estranged wife, Brooke Hogan. All that and more on this week's show!

We are live from Jonesboro, Ark. Todd Keneley, Mike Tenay, and Taz have the call.

Aces & Eights make their way out to the ring. Mr. Anderson has the mic and has a message for AJ Styles. He has a vest in hand and says that the company has turned their backs on him, so he hopes he makes the right choice.

Devon gets his opportunity to speak, saying that he has an envelope that Bully Ray needs to see. It contains contents that will seemingly have dire implications for Brooke Hogan.

D'Lo Brown gets the mic and asks the crowd to remain silent as he speaks. D'Lo says he received a letter of termination from TNA just the other day, but he thought he deserved a little more. He tells someone to come talk to him face-to-face about why he is fired.

Kurt Angle makes his way out. He says that he is ready to get in the ring with D'Lo Brown and tell him how he feels. Angle gets in and immediately gets a double-leg. Chaos ensues as an army of TNA wrestlers come out to support the outnumbered Angle. The TNA roster cleans house as Aces & Eights scurry.

Brooke Hogan backstage. Joey Ryan comes up and apologizes for Brooke having a hard time lately. A bunch of innuendo follows, to which Brooke responds that she is still married. Ryan states that he didn't mean for it to sound that way, but the favor he wants to offer is to be the new TNA Knockouts referee. Ryan says he is in black and white, including his zebra-styled underwear, to which he offers Brooke a peak. Brooke denies the look, but relents and allows Ryan to referee on the condition he doesn't touch the talent.

Prior to the match, Joey Ryan takes his time in checking for foreign objects on the ladies.

Match One: Tara (w/Jesse) & Gail Kim vs. Taryn Terrell & Velvet Sky

Match starts with Tara and Velvet Sky. Tara opens with chops, but Sky gets a few clotheslines. Sky gets a side headlock in, but Joey Ryan starts massaging the shoulders of Sky.

Taryn Terrell and Gail Kim in. Gail Kim immediately tags out to Tara. Tara is rolled up over and over by Terrell, but Ryan is too distracted enjoying the compromising positions to count.

Sky tagged back in and a double elbow drop from herself and Terrell lands. Ryan is again too busy examining Sky's pinning form. Sky is not happy with this and gets up close with Ryan, but Gail Kim hits her with a sneak attack.

Tara tags out to make it official and Gail Kim works Sky over. Slam from Kim is again not counted. Tara in and she locks up Sky in the corner, which prompts Ryan to pull her away and hold on a little too long. Jesse isn't happy with this and hugs Tara, which allows Sky to get a rollup. Ryan again misses the count by gawking too much.

Tara goes for a standing moonsault with a little dance prior, but Ryan gets too close and Tara pushes him away. Tara misses off the distraction. Terrell and Gail Kim in. Clotheslines and elbows from Terrell. Suplex lands for Terrell, who goes up top. Crossbody lands, but Tara breaks the pin. Tara is sent out by Sky, who is then sent out by Kim.

Back inside, Kim pitching a little woo towards Ryan. Ryan begins to take off his shirt and bring out the baby oil, missing yet another rollup from Terrell. By the time Ryan turns around, Kim regains position and has a handful of tights.

Winners by pinfall: Gail Kim & Tara

Ryan tries to raise the of Gail Kim as they hit the ramp, but Gail Kim rejects him. Ryan tries to aid Sky and Terrell, but Terrell delivers a low blow after Sky lays a little fake seduction on him.

TNA Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode & Austin Aries will be up next.

The contract signing between TNA Tag Team Champions Bobby Roode & Austin Aries and Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez. Jeremy Borash hosting proceedings. Aries and Roode hush the host and point out their world-class pedigree, pointing out that neither of their opponents have held the ultimate title of world championship.

Chavo Guerrero notes his family's legacy and the strength and size of his partner, seemingly not impressed by Aries and Roode.

Aries and Roode want to add a little spice to the contract, asking for a fruit basket, green M&Ms, and more money for the winners. Guerrero and Hernandez want to add their own stipulation, to which Aries and Roode seemingly agree. Aries and Roode again want to add one more, to which their opposition agrees.

Borash announces that the titles will be on the line in a 2 out of 3 falls match. If Hernandez and Guerrero lose, they can never team again.

Former ROH standout "Scrap Iron" Adam Pearce is profiled as one of the TNA Gut Check competitors for this week.

Magno is profiled as Pearce's opponent for TNA Gut Check.

Match Two: Adam Pearce vs. Magno

Lockup and Pearce takes it to the mat. Magno grabs an arm wrench, but Pearce counters into one of his own. Arm drag from Magno ends the exchange. Lockup again leads to a Pearce hammerlock. Single-leg from Pearce earns a nearfall that Magno gets out of with a headscissors takeover.

Pearce with a huge forearm and now working strikes in the corner. Magno cornered, but gets the boot up. Pearce counters with a huge bodydrop for a nearfsll. Pearce with an elbow to the spine. Magno sent into the corner, but flips out and lands flat on his back. Tilt-a-whirl backbreaker off the rebound from Magno. Corkscrew springboard gives Magno a nearfall.

Magno sent into the ropes, but he springboards. Pearce catches him and lands a spinebuster. Nearfall for Pearce. Magno on the apron and he unleashes a flying onslaught before sending Pearce to the floor. Magno up top and lands a moonsault to the outside on Pearce.

Back inside and Magno gets tripped up. Pearce with an ankle pick right next to the ropes. Rollup and Pearce hooks the rope with his arm.

Winner by pinfall: Adam Pearce

Backstage, Aces & Eights gives AJ Styles a vest. Anderson encourages him to put it on. Styles looks contemplative as he walks away with the vest.

Hulk Hogan wants to address someone important next.

Kurt Angle with Joseph Park. Park says he is ready for a fight tonight, citing Angle as an inspiration after watching his amateur wrestling career. Angle says that Park may be green, but he is happy to have him on his side tonight.

Hulk Hogan makes his way down to the ring. He wants to cut to the chase right now. He asks for AJ Styles, who makes his way down to the ring. Hogan says he is a little worried about that jacket Styles has, but he understands why he has gone down this path. Hogan says TNA is like family to Styles and they need dangerous Styles in a time like this.

Styles asks if he really wants him to help. Before anything becomes of this, James Storm makes his way down the ramp. Storm says that he was a little upset about Styles sitting there and watching Aces & Eights beating him down last week. Storm says that Styles and himself built this company, but if he wants to join Aces & Eights, he better clock out before he gets knocked out.

Styles leaves with the jacket in hand.

Match Three: Sonjay Dutt vs. Mason Andrews vs. Petey Williams

This match will determine a contender for the TNA X Division Championship.

Williams and Dutt teaming up on Andrews to start. Andrews ducks out of a Williams headlock, allowing Dutt to shoulder block Williams. The three men exchange a series of rollups for nearfalls.

Andrews moves outside, allowing Dutt to get a few nearfalls and a dropkick from Dutt. Williams with a drop toehold to put Dutt on the second rope. He knocks Andrews off the apron, hits Dutt with a dropkick, then nails Andrews again with a suicide dive. Dutt looks to take both men out, but they split and he splats.

Andrews with a nearfall on the inside. Backbreaker from Andrews gets another nearfall. Dutt sent back to the floor, allowing Williams to land a few chops to the chest. Andrews works Williams into the corner, landing strikes. Snapmare leads to an elbow drop from the second rope for Andrews, earning a nearfall.

Dutt back inside, locking in a stretcher on Williams. Andrews sends him outside, only for Dutt to take both him and Williams out with a springboard dropkick. Dutt with a guillotine legdrop on Andrews. Springboard splash gets Dutt a nearfall.

Williams in and Andrews is cleared out. Williams with a brief spurt of offense before Dutt sets him up top. Dutt is sent to the apron, but Andrews hits a hurricanrana on Williams. Dutt is taken out with a flying knee. Williams charges Andrews, who tries a bodydrop, but Williams turns it into the Canadian Destroyer.

Winner by pinfall: Petey Williams

Bully Ray is shown hyping up Aces & Eights. The group gets ready to go, but Devon asks Bully if he is ready to deal with Brooke. Bully says he really misses his wife with a smirk. Bully is prepared to hand her an envelope and move forward later tonight.

Preview of next week's show, headlined by Full Metal Mayhem for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship between Bully Ray and challenger Jeff Hardy.

Match Four: Aces & Eights vs. Team TNA

Devon, Wes Brisco, DOC, Knux, and Garrett Bischoff represent Aces & Eights. Joseph Park, Eric Young, Magnus, Samoa Joe, and Kurt Angle represent TNA.

Angle hip tosses Brisco into the the ring to start. Angle working his former protege over in the corner. Suplex from Angle gets a nearfall. Bischoff in, but he gets a hip toss for his troubles. Angle giving Bischoff the same treatment in the corner.

Magnus in. He catches a Bischoff crossbody attempt and gets a suplex out of it. Samoa Joe in and he gets an atomic drop, followed by a Magnus boot. Back splash from Joe. Bischoff brought to his feet, where he rakes the eyes of Joe.

Devon in, but Joe slips all of his strikes to land his jabs. Splash in the corner followed by an enzuigiri for Joe. Splash for Joe after a chop gets a nearfall.

Mike "Knux" Knox is in, getting a brief flurry of offense before Joe tags in to Eric Young. Young in control temporarily, but the bigger man gets the advantage. Knux brawling Young into the corner. Young sent off the ropes. but he holds on and pulls the ropes down when Knux charges. Crossbody over the top to the outside on Knux as we break.

We return with the same pairing of Knux and Young. Knux working Young in the corner. Huge boot sends Young out to the floor. Knux brawling with Young on the floor. Back inside and a leg drop to the arm from Knox.

DOC in and he pounds Young in the corner. Clothesline and a big splash get DOC a nearfall. Devon in again, still keeping Young grounded in the corner. Snapmare into a nervehold from Devon. Young fights out, but Devon gets a corkscrew.

DOC back in, but Young flips out of a slam attempt with a jawbreaker. Knux and DOC get over to the opponent corner and clear out the team. DOC turns his attention back to Young, but Young gets an enzuigiri.

Park is left standing and he sends DOC to the outside with strikes. Brisco now the legal man and Park with a slam for a nearfall. Now, every member of each team inside. Brawl ensues. Devon and Park are the only men left. Spinebuster from Devon lands. He misses a headbutt from the top. Park up top for the Closing Argument, but he becomes preoccupied with a clothesline for two members of Aces & Eights. DOC with a low blow from behind.

Winners by pinfall: Aces & Eights

Hulk and Brooke discussing problems backstage. Hulk is concerned, but Brooke is ready to go and get things over with.

Bully Ray makes his way to the ring. Before he gets to business, he asks Jeff Hardy what is wrong with him to challenge him to a match involving tables, ladders, and chairs. Now, Bully calls for his wife.

Security escorts Brooke Hogan to the ring. Bully feigns anger about Brooke not wearing her wedding ring. Bully says he has his on, but he'll give Brooke a pass for this week. Bully also needs to know what is up with security, hoping they are there for his protection after he saw what Brooke did at Lockdown.

Bully says that he is ready to move on to the envelope. Brooke hopes they are divorce papers, but Bully informs her that she is the wind beneath his wings. The envelope is opened, revealing a front row ticket to next week's show. Bully wants Brooke Hogan to watch from ringside as Jeff Hardy loses to him yet again.

Bully gives her instructions to look as beautiful as possible, as he believes she has really let herself go lately. Brooke slaps him across the face, but Bully just laughs. Bully says he is in her head and walks her down.

Jeff Hardy hits the ring and the show ends with both men brawling.
