WWE Main Event: Champions, Divas see action

With Wrestlemania just around the corner, everyone is staking a claim to have a shot at the legendary Wrestlemania moment. Tonight on WWE Main Event, WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro challenges one half of WWE Tag Team Champions Team Hell No, Kane. The Divas will also see action as The Bella Twins make their in-ring return against The Funkadactyls. All that and more on this week's episode of WWE Main Event!

We are on tape from Hershey, Pa. Michael Cole and The Miz have the call this week.

Prior to his match, WWE United States Champion Antonio Cesaro addresses the fans. Cesaro says he is ready to bring some culture to the cultureless American society. Cesaro begins yodeling. Kane and Daniel Bryan exchange looks as Bryan is seated at the announce table, puzzled by the groaning of Cesaro.

Match One: Kane (w/Daniel Bryan) vs. Antonio Cesaro

Lockup and Kane pushes Cesaro to the mat with ease. Cesaro gets the back of Kane and turns it into a side headlock. Kane shrugs him off and lands a shoulder block. Cesaro again gets the back off the lockup, but Kane tosses Cesaro to the mat with an arm wrench. Cesaro wants to test his strength, but he lands boots to the stomach of Kane and unloads. Kane doesn't take kindly to this and lands a few punches before sending Cesaro to the outside with a clothesline.

Cesaro on the apron and he lands a shoulder to the gut of Kane. Cesaro wants a suplex, but Kane suplexes him back to the inside. Running dropkick makes Cesaro move to the apron. Kane follows, but Cesaro wraps his arm on the ring post. Kane holding the rope with the injured left arm and Cesaro goes up top, coming down with an axhandle to the arm. Cesaro locks in a keylock, but Kane shoves him to the apron. Cesaro again tries to rush Kane, but he is tossed to the floor.

Cesaro lands a hangman's neckbreaker from the apron and he goes up top. Kane sidesteps the attack to hit his uppercut as Cesaro lands. Kane with a nearfall. Kane looking to keep the dazed Cesaro grounded with his power as we break.

We return to Kane working Cesaro over in the corner. Cesaro sent to the opposite corner, but he gets a knee up and mounts the top turnbuckle. Flying uppercut lands for a nearfall from Cesaro. Cesaro locks in a kimura lock and yodels, but Kane works his way out. Cesaro lands a drop toehold that puts Kane down on the second rope. Cesaro with more yodeling as he steps out to land another European uppercut.

Cesaro steps back inside and lands a picturesque dropkick for a nearfall. Cesaro again working a keylock on the left arm. Kane again fights out, but he splashes into the corner and Cesaro unloads with strikes. Kane turns the tide and lands a clothesline in the corner. Repeat of the move leads to a sidewalk slam for a nearfall. Kane heads up top for his signature clothesline, but Cesaro cracks Kane with his own signature, the European uppercut. Nearfall for Cesaro, who looks frustrated as we break.

Break ends with Cesaro yodeling while working a chinlock. Kane with elbows and strikes to get back to his feet. Cesaro sends Kane off the ropes, but Kane gets a DDT that plants Cesaro. Kane with a choke in and looking for the chokeslam, but Cesaro gets away to knee the stomach of Kane. Karelin gutwrench throw from Cesaro gets another nearfall.

Forearm after forearm from Cesaro. Cesaro gift wraps Kane, using the injured arm of Kane to choke him. Kane up to his feet and strikes are exchanged. Cesaro comes out on the losing end of a tilt-a-whirl slam. Kane now in control and and lands a clothesline in the corner. Sidewalk slam is missed as Cesaro slips out, but Kane with a big boot that puts Cesaro down for a nearfall. Kane up top and he lands the flying clothesline. Chokeslam time.

However, AJ Lee's music hits and she begins her skip around the ring. Daniel Bryan moves from the booth to cut her off, yelling his favorite phrase. Cesaro uses this to land an uppercut on a distracted Kane and hits a stomp to the stomach from the top. Nearfall for Cesaro. Cesaro looking for the Neutralizer, but Kane with a bodydrop. Kane lifts Cesaro up and lands a chokeslam.

Winner by pinfall: Kane

Team Hell No celebrate in the ring, this time chanting "YES!"

Michael Cole and The Miz rundown some of the Wrestlemania card, focusing on the recent happenings between Jack Swagger, Zeb Colter, Ricardo Rodriguez, and WWE World Heavyweight Champion Alberto Del Rio.

Matt Striker backstage with Sheamus. Striker notes how Sheamus was reluctant to have Big Show as his tag partner last week and asks what has changed. Sheamus says that they won't be close anytime soon, but Show provides an advantage against The Shield that they need. Sheamus believes The Shield will be in for a rough Wrestlemania.

Prior to their Divas matchup, Cameron and Naomi debut the newly-named duo, Tons of Funk.

Team Rhodes Scholars introduce The Bella Twins, proclaiming that they will restore class to the Divas division. These two teams and their valets will go at it at Wrestlemania in a mixed tag match.

Match Two: The Funkadactyls vs. The Bella Twins

Brie Bella starting out with Cameron. Brie works Cameron into the corner. Forearms from Cameron. Hurricanrana out of the corner by Cameron, followed by strikes. Nikki Bella grabs the foot on the outside and is kicked away, but Brie lands a huge clothesline for a nearfall. Brie stomping Cameron and locks her between the ropes. Nikki with a kick as the referee's back is turned.

Nikki in with a clothesline for a nearfall. Stretched locked in for Nikki and Cameron is hurting. Nikki knocks Cameron down for a nearfall. Brie in with a clothesline for a nearfall. Nikki brought back in with another nearfall. Neck crank locked in by Nikki. Cameron fights out and lands a stunner.

Naomi in on the tag and lands a few flipping clotheslines. Hurricanrana from Naomi. Bump with the rear by Naomi for a nearfall. Brie Bella is in and Cameron takes her outside. Step-up enzuigiri lands for Naomi, but Cody Rhodes on the apron. Naomi knocks him down with two slaps, but Nikki Bella with a rollup.

Winners by pinfall: The Bella Twins

Show closes with WWE Champion The Rock and John Cena's confrontation during the WWE Legends panel from Raw.
