WWE Main Event: Rhodes rumbles with Sheamus
By NOLAN HOWELL - SLAM Wrestling

Known for his mustache and friendship with Damien Sandow, Cody Rhodes has been in a bit of a limbo. He no longer regularly pursues the WWE Tag Team Championships with the WWE's resident genius and has yet to make a large impact on the singles scene in the organization. Tonight on WWE Main Event, Rhodes gets an opportunity to make a huge splash against "The Great White" Sheamus. With Sheamus always hanging near the top of the pack, will Rhodes earn some credibility or will he be stomped about by the Brogue Kick? All that and more tonight on this week's WWE Main Event!

We kick off tonight's show with footage from earlier in the day. WWE Divas Champion Kaitlyn is wandering the halls and bumps into Cody Rhodes. The two awkwardly jerk around to get past each other, to which Kaitlyn asks Rhodes if he wants to dance. Rhodes says he has a few moves, but Kaitlyn wonders if it is him or his "love-stache" that have the moves. Sheamus comes up and asks if "Magnum P.I." is giving her trouble. Rhodes notes that Sheamus rocks a handlebar style on his face, but Sheamus retorts that his facial hair doesn't resemble a caterpillar. Rhodes gets a bit huffy and challenges Sheamus to a match tonight. Sheamus accepts and Rhodes asks Kaitlyn to watch, as "the love-stache strikes back."

We are on tape from Oklahoma City, Okla. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler have the call this week. They promise to review the John Cena vs. CM Punk match that went down on Monday's edition of Raw later tonight.
