Impact: Christopher Daniels battles Jeff Hardy for the gold

As of late, it appears that chaos reigns in the Impact Zone. After last week's shocking ending to the wedding of Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan, how will Taz explain his defection to the dastardly Aces and Eights? And what will the gang have in store this week? Also, in the main event of the evening, "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels will battle TNA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Hardy for the strap. All that and more should guarantee a lot of action on this week's edition of Impact Wrestling!

The show kicks off with a replay of the shocking end to last week's wedding. Post-show footage is shown of the TNA roster coming out to help clear the destruction caused by Aces and Eights.

We are LIVE from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Fla. Todd Keneley and Mike Tenay have the call, with an empty chair right next to the former. The two discuss the shock and awe behind last week's events.

Aces and Eights is shown having a celebration in the parking lot of the Impact Zone.

Taz leads Aces and Eights into the arena. Taz says life is about opportunity and he couldn't pass up joining the group. Taz lists off all the reasons to join the gang and notes that the wedding last week was an opportunity to show their power. Taz wants Dixie Carter and the TNA front office need to review his contract because the language within makes him "bulletproof." Taz says that he is untouchable and TNA will now have to deal with the higher power.

Jesse gives TNA Knockouts Champion Tara a pep talk before her match with Velvet Sky tonight.

Christopher Daniels video package rolls. Daniels and Kazarian are backstage and they are ready for the match tonight. Christopher Daniels is ready to be "World Heavyweight Champion of the World."

Match One for the TNA Knockouts Championship: Tara (c) vs. Velvet Sky

Velvet Sky starts with the rollup from behind for a nearfall. The two grapple back and forth before Tara gets a shoulder block. Japanese arm drag from Velvet Sky leads to a flurry of offense. Tara heads outside to be consoled by Jesse, but Sky brings her inside for a little more punishment. Velvet again sends Tara outside. Tara appalled on the arena floor as we break.

Sky cornered and kicks Tara away before going up top for a crossbody. Nearfall for Velvet Sky. Sky unloads chops on the chest of Tara and shoulder rams her into the corner. Sky tries a monkey flip, but Tara pushes her off for a nearfall. Tara now using power offense to keep Sky grounded. Snap suplex by Tara for another nearfall. Tara with a standing moonsault for yet another nearfall.

Tara locking in the sleeper on Sky. Sky fights back to her feet, but Tara drags her down by her hair. Tara tosses Sky by her hair. Tara up top, but Sky meets her with a gorilla press to the mat. The two exchange punches in the middle of the ring. Velvet with a few clotheslines and a headscissors takeover. Sky with a neckbreaker, but Jesse distracts Taryn Terrell. Tara charges at the cluster, but she knocks Jesse down. Sky goes for a suplex, but Jesse sweeps the leg and holds Sky's foot down.

Winner by pinfall: Tara

Sting says he will be doing all the talking about last week in the ring later tonight.

Zema Ion walks in on Kenny King giving himself a pep talk. King and Ion will team up tonight, but the two seem to have a bit of tension.

Joseph Park making his way to the ring. Park says that he now realizes his true calling as a member of the Impact roster. Park says that his debut match a few weeks ago was not a success, but he is here to be the best he can be. Park is ready for next week's Open Fight Night in Manchester, England and he will be competing. He will render his verdict next week after some deliberation, but the whole world should be ready for him next week. Park says he will be getting the win next week.

Match Two: Rob Van Dam & Christian York vs. Kenny King & Zema Ion

RVD starts with Ion. The two counter strikes until RVD presses Ion up and lands a dropkick. York tagged in and lands a running knee to the stomach. RVD back in with a dropkick in the corner on Ion. Kenny King pulls Van Dam down by his hair and Ion with a sneak attack. King in and gets a snap suplex into mount. Punches and a nearfall for King. Ion back in with kicks to the ribs. Ion knocks York off the apron and the referee holds York back while Ion rakes the eyes of RVD. Ion up top and misses a 450 splash.

Tags are made and York and King in. York with a few clotheslines and a neckbreaker. York with a flying knee for a nearfall that is broken up by Ion. RVD in to take care of Ion, but Ion is able to knock him down with a big boot. King is sent outside by York. King drags him out and beats him down. RVD going for a split-leg moonsault on Ion, but King is able to push him into the turnbuckle. Ion sends him outside and York soon takes Ion out.

Ion on the apron with the blind tag. King with a hangman's neckbreaker, but Ion is shucked off on the flying DDT attempt. King gets on the apron and hits a huge Blockbuster. Ion crawls over for the cover.

Winners by pinfall: Kenny King & Zema Ion

Brooke Hogan and Bully Ray make their way into the building. Bully Ray has no answers for the cameraman about his wedding and will talk about it in the ring later.

Garrett Bischoff and Wes Brisco with Samoa Joe and they want to know how Kurt Angle is doing. Joe doesn't want to talk and Angle enters to greet everyone. He isn't 100%, but he is happy to be back.

Bully Ray and Brooke Hogan hit the ring. Bully wants Taz to answer to him. He never expected this betrayal and he has hurt Bully and anyone involved in this wedding. Bully says he hurt Brooke the most and says that Taz ruined their special day. Bully is ready to inflict serious pain on Aces and Eights and tells them to sleep with one eye open. Bully guarantees that he will not sleep until he gets his hands on every Aces and Eights member. Bully can't do any of this until Hulk Hogan lifts his suspension.

Sting makes his way out. Sting notes that Hulk Hogan never goes halfway on anything, but he has only gone halfway on Bully and Brooke. Sting wants Hogan to announce Bully Ray will be reinstated next week in the United Kingdom.

Recap of Bobby Roode and Austin Aries being confronted by Hernandez and Chavo Guerrero. Aries and Roode backstage. The group is gameplanning and no one wants to match up with Hernandez tonight. Roode argues that Aries is quicker, but Aries says Roode is stronger. Roode says that Aries beat him and he should take on Hernandez, but Aries admits it was a fluke and fools Roode into matching up with Hernandez.

Jeff Hardy video package plays. Hardy backstage and he is ready for his title bout tonight.

Match Three: Bobby Roode vs. Hernandez

Chavo Guerrero joins Hernandez, while Austin Aries is nowhere to be seen.

Hernandez muscles Roode, but Roode using his quickness to land strikes. Back bodydrop from Hernandez is followed by a delayed vertical suplex. Roode turns the tide with some quick offense for a nearfall. Roode works Hernandez in the corner and hits a running neckbreaker. Hernandez fighting back with strikes to the stomach, but a Roode elbow drops him for another nearfall. Roode with two elbows and a knee drop for yet another nearfeall.

Sleeper in for Roode. Hernandez fights his way back to the feet and drives Roode into the corner. Hernandez bodydropped to the apron, but he hits a battering ram. Splash in the corner on Roode and he hits a backbreaker. Roode stops a bodydrop with a kick to the face and some chops. Roode off the ropes, but he gets sent outside with a huge shoulder block. Hernandez wants to fly, but Austin Aries makes the save. Chavo Guerrero brawls with Aries outside.

Inside, Roode with a sneak attack bulldog on Hernandez. Hebner gets away from the brawl to make the count.

Winner by pinfall: Bobby Roode

Kurt Angle will make his way to the ring next.

Recap of the injury of Kurt Angle at the hands of Aces and Eights.

Angle steps inside the ring. Angle is tired of Aces and Eights sneak attacks that have taken out numerous members of the Impact roster. Angle wants his revenge next week on Open Fight Night and he will take it out on Mr. Anderson. Angle asks for Mr. Anderson to join him in the ring right now.

Anderson's music hits and he makes his way through the backdoor like all Aces and Eights members do. Anderson asks if Angle really wants to fight him next week. However, Anderson doesn't want to fight him next week because he wants to do it now. Anderson with a cheap shot on Angle and starts a beating. Angle powers out of the corner with a clothesline. Anderson escapes an Ankle Lock. Angle says Aces and Eights won't be able to interfere next week because he will fight Anderson in a steel cage.

Anderson worried in the Aces and Eights clubhouse, but Devon assures him and tells him to just relax.

Match Four for the TNA World Heavyweight Championship: Jeff Hardy (c) vs. Christopher Daniels

Kazarian with Daniels as usual.

Jeremy Borash makes the introductions for the title bout.

Daniels locks up with Hardy and presses him into the corner. Ref breaks it and another lockup leads to a Hardy side headlock. Daniels works hardy into the corner and gets a few shoulder blocks to the stomach. Hardy floats over on an Irish whip and hits a headscissors takeover. Clothesline from Hardy puts Daniels in the corner. Hardy tries a pendulum kick, but Daniels ducks to the outside and Hardy lands hard. Daniels tosses Hardy outside and Kazarian comes in to raise the hand of his partner as we break.

Daniels with a clothesline as we return. Nearfall for Daniels.

Action during the break shows Kazarian beating Hardy down.

Daniels pressing the elbow into the eye of Hardy. Daniels with a Saito suplex. Off the ropes and a clothesline to the back of the head earns Daniels a nearfall. Daniels with strikes and stomps to the downed champion. Hardy moves into the corner and Daniels picks up to land a headbutt. Daniels digging the knee into the head of Hardy. Neckbreaker from Daniels earns a nearfall.

Neck crank submission applied by Daniels. Daniels driving the knees into the spine of Hardy, but Hardy gets up to his feet. Hardy dragged down by his hair. Kazarian in the face of Hardy. Daniels tries an Irish whip, but Hardy pulls him into a clothesline. Both men down and the referee starts the count. The two exchange punches in the middle of the ring. Hardy gets the advantage and gets a flying clothesline. Atomic drop and leg drop to the midsection followed up with a dropkick from Hardy. Corkscrew kick puts Daniels down for a nearfall.

Hardy drags Daniels and goes up top. Splash from the second rope gets Hardy a nearfall. Daniels hits a Death Valley driver for a nearfall. Daniels choking Hardy with the back of his leg. Hardy gets the rope break, but Daniels places Hardy up top. Daniels going up top, but Hardy hits a front suplex. Daniels gets his foot on the rope to cause a nearfall. Twist of Fate is turned out of and Daniels hits the Angel's Wings for a close nearfall.

Daniel getting frustrated. He attempts a BME, but Hardy ducks away and goes for Whisper in the Wind. Daniels ducks it and cradles him for a nearfall. Daniels setting up Hardy, but Hardy with a headscissors takeover. Twist of Fate from Hardy sends Daniels into his manager on the apron. Another Twist of Fate and Hardy baseball kicks Kazarian. Hardy up top and he nails the Swanton Bomb.

Winner by pinfall: Jeff Hardy

Taz wants to interview Jeff Hardy. He asks what Hardy will do when Aces and Eights takes over. A masked member comes from behind and cracks the left knee of Hardy with a hammer.

Hardy down as we fade to black.
