WWE Main Event: Team Hell No defends titles
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE Main Event: For the second time in six weeks, the WWE Tag Team Titles are on the line on this show with Team Hell No once again defending against the Rhodes Scholars. Will Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow finally be able to capture the gold? Should be a good one!

And we are TAPED! from Philadelphia, Pa. Michael Cole and The Miz are our hosts. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).

After a video package on this tag team rivalry, it's time to get things underway.

Match #1 - WWE Tag Team Championship - (c) Daniel Bryan (Aberdeen, Wash.) & Kane (Hell, Fire & Brimstone) vs. Cody Rhodes (Marietta, Ga.) & Damien Sandow (Palo Alto, Calif.)

Kane and Rhodes kick things off. When that doesn't go well for Rhodes, he tags in Sandow. Kane and Bryan go to work on Sandow now, as they have him isolated in their corner, grinding him down. Kane remains in control until he misses an elbow drop and Sandow brings in Rhodes.

Rhodes feigns a shoulder injury and uses that to slam Kane into the steel steps on the outside.

We're back and Rhodes and Sandow are in control, doing the very same thing Team Hell No was doing to them just a bit earlier: Isolating Kane and keeping him in their corner. But Kane gets the tag to Bryan, who comes in and lights Sandow up with kicks. Bryan with a flip and then a clothesline. Corner dropkick connects for two.

Bryan dumps Sandow to the floor, who comes up grabbing his knee. Bryan waits and waits and can't pull the trigger on the suicide dive. He starts going for it, but pulls up, goes on the apron and hits a flying knee off it. He throws Sandow back in the ring but Rhodes comes up on the apron and eats an elbow, but Sandow recovers and knocks Bryan off the apron and into the barricade.

Team Rhodes Scholars still in control, going to work on Bryan. Rhodes with a rear chinlock with Bryan's arm isolated. Bryan works his way to a vertical base and they start slugging it out, but Rhodes drops down and hit an uppercut to cut him off. Sandow in and he hits the Elbow of Disdain. Sandow whips Bryan into the corner, but Bryan gets a boot up on the ensuing charge and hits a leg lariat.

Bryan crawling toward his corner and he finally makes the tag to Kane as Sandow brings in Rhodes. Kane with a pair of corner clotheslines and a sidewalk slam for two. Kane to the top but Rhodes cuts him off and tags in Sandow and they want a double superplex but Kane shoves them both off and hits the flying clothesline on Rhodes.

Sandow with a boot and he hits the neckbreaker but Bryan breaks it up, only to get CrossRhodes from Rhodes. Sandow tags in Rhodes who hits the Disaster Kick but Kane kicks out at the last second. Rhodes goes to the top and wants a moonsault but he misses. Bryan tags himself in, Kane hits the choke slam and Bryan follows with the flying headbutt and that's it.

Match #2 - Titus O'Neil (Tampa, Fla.) & Darren Young (Miami, Fla.) vs. Santino Marella (Calabria, Italy) & Zack Ryder (Long Island, NY)

Prime Time Players in control on Santino, really going to work and keeping Santino in a world of hurt. O'Neil suplexes Young onto Santino and then O'Neil works an abdominal stretch. Santino works his way out of that with an elbow but O'Neil hits a backbreaker and then just chucks Santino to the mat.

Young comes in and Santino gets going. He's able to make the tag to Ryder, who comes in on O'Neil. Ryder with punches and hits some double knees and a missile dropkick. Ryder with a corner forearm and he follows that with the Broski Boot.

Young, though, comes in and eats a Cobra for his trouble. O'Neil knocks Santino out of the ring and ducks the Rough Ryder, grabbing Ryder on the come back and hitting the Clash of the Titus to end the match.

Winners via pinfall: Prime Time Players
