Raw: Show ends in chaos
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Monday Night Raw: It's the final edition of the show prior to Sunday's TLC pay-per-view and everyone is wondering: What does The Shield have planned? Elsewhere, Vince McMahon is back and he helps Vickie Guerrero book a triple main event. Should be a good one!

We are LIVE! from Newark, N.J. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler are our hosts and this show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG, V)

Dolph Ziggler is in the ring on a ladder. He says he's here to talk about two numbers: 6 and 15. There's six days until the TLC pay-per-view and 15 days until Christmas. He talks about how they are one in the same for John Cena. He says he's going to be the proverbial coal in Cena's stocking and he's going to beat him at TLC, then give himself the greatest present of all: Cashing in the briefcase, beat Big Show and go on to become the best world champ of all time.

He's interrupted by Sheamus, who says Ziggler is finally taller than everybody. He says Ziggler shouldn't worry about cashing in on show, rather he'll have to cash it in on him, plus, he doesn't think Ziggler is going to even beat Cena, so he thinks it's going to be him against Cena for the title.

This brings out Big Show. He says both Sheamus and Ziggler are delusional. He says he'd like nothing more than to shove Sheamus' face into his fist, but because of the no contact clause, he won't. And he says if Ziggler tries to cash in, he'll knock him out, too.

Sheamus talks about not being able to have contact with Show, but it doesn't mean he can't have contact with other people, so he shoves Ziggler off the ladder and to the floor.

Wade Barrett is in the ring awaiting action but he's interrupted by Vince McMahon, who brings out Vickie Guerrero. We get the Vince feeding Vickie lines game again, and so we get Sheamus against Dolph Ziggler. Then he suggests there be a third main event. Guerrero suggests AJ in a handicap match. The crowd boos. But instead, McMahon books AJ against Guerrero.

Match #1 - Wade Barrett (Preston, England) vs. R-Truth (Charlotte, NC)

Truth gets the win out of nowhere with a jackknife cover.

Winner via pinfall: R-Truth

After the match, Truth gets in Antonio Cesaro's face on commentary, then Kofi Kingston, also on commentary, gets up and hits the big crossbody on Barrett in the ring.

Match #2 - Primo & Epico (San Juan, Puerto Rico) vs. Jimmy & Jey Uso (San Francisco, Calif.) vs. Titus O'Neil (Tampa, Fla.) & Darren Young (Miami, Fla.) vs. Cody Rhodes (Marietta, Ga.) & Damien Sandow (Palo Alto, Calif.)

The winners of this match will face Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in a tables match at TLC.

Primo and Epico are the first team eliminated when the Usos hit the Superfly Splash.

During the break, the Prime TIme Players were eliminated by the Usos. So we're down to the Rhodes Scholars and the Usos. Sandow in control. He hits the Elbow of Disdain. Rhodes in and he goes for a bulldog but he gets pushed off and the Usos get the hot tag. Big kick to the gut and a Samoan drop follows.

Rhodes into the corner and the big butt bomb connects but Sandow breaks up the pin, only to get kicked himself and sent to the outside. Jey goes to the top and wants the Superfly Splash, but Sandow breaks it up. Rhodes goes up but gets headbutted down. Jey up and goes for the splash again but Rhodes gets his knees up. He follows that up with CrossRhodes and that is all she wrote.

Winners via pinfall: Cody Rhodes & Damien Sandow

Match #3 - Alicia Fox (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.) vs. Eve Torres (Denver, Colo.)

Fox off to a big start. But Torres hits a big kick but runs right into a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for two. Fox works Torres in the corner but Torres slams her down and then hits a neckbreaker and that's all she wrote.

Winner via pinfall: Eve Torres

CM Punk and Paul Heyman are here and on the ramp. Punk is on crutches. He says people think he's faking this injury to avoid defending his title against Ryback. Heyman gets the mic and says the crowd is ticking him off. He notes Punk didn't have a stunt double like The Rock. He says Punk is standing before everyone here tonight, unlike The Rock. He says Ryback is no longer in front of Ryback and Punk will defend the title against The Rock at Royal Rumble and Punk remains the reigning and defending champion.

Punk now takes the time to talk to those who think he should be stripped of the title. He thinks they're dumb, basically. He goes over the list of people who he's defeated and he says at Royal Rumble, The Rock gets his one shots and he, like all the others, will also fail.

Match #4 - Sheamus (Dublin, Ireland) vs. Dolph Ziggler (Hollywood, Fla.)

We're back and it's Ziggler who has gained control. Sheamus, though, builds up and hits a big corner clothesline. He goes for a shoulder in the corner but Ziggler bails and Sheamus goes into the post. Ziggler with a roll-up with the feet on the ropes but the referee sees it. Sheamus, though, catches Ziggler and hits a backbreaker into a fallaway slam. He lands a knee-lift and then the clubbing blows on the ropes.

Sheamus to the top but Ziggler crotches him. Ziggler goes up but loses a slugfest. He comes right back, though, and delivers an X Factor from the top, but Sheamus somehow kicks out at two.

Ziggler wants the Zig Zag but Sheamus holds on to the ropes. He wants White Noise but Ziggler slips out but Sheamus ends up hitting the Irish Curse backbreaker for two. Sheamus is feeling it. He starts calling for the Brogue Kick. He goes for it but Ziggler ducks out of the ring. Sheamus follows him only to eat a chair right to the gut.

Winner via disqualification: Sheamus

Ziggler hits Sheamus with the chair again and wants more, but Sheamus Brogue Kicks the chair right out of his hands and Ziggler bails.

Match #5 - Alberto Del Rio (San Luis Potosi, Mexico) vs. Zack Ryder (Long Island, NY)

Ryder off to a quick start. He hits a flap jack but it's all Del Rio from there. He goes to work on Ryder's back and arm, softening him up. Remarkably, though, Ryder actually makes a comeback. He dumps Del Rio to the floor. Back in the ring, Ryder lands double knees and then lines up for the Broski Boot but Del Rio sees it coming a mile away, hits a drop-toe hold and locks in the cross-armbreaker to finish it.

Winner via submission: Alberto Del Rio

Match #6 - AJ Lee (Union City, NJ) vs. Vickie Guerrero (El Paso, Texas)

There's no referee in the ring but then Brad Maddox saunters down to the ring. AJ does not like that. Vickie attacks from behind and goes to work. She slaps AJ but then AJ goes crazy. Vickie tries to talk a walk but AJ brings her back. AJ beats on her and then clocks her with a slap. She goes to cover but Maddox just stands there. Vickie recovers and rolls AJ up and Maddox drops and counts the fall.

Winner via pinfall: Vickie Guerrero

AJ has a meltdown after the match. She goes to the outside and starts throwing furniture. She annihilates Justin Roberts with a slap and then gets a look on her face and goes to the back.

AJ is still throwing a fit, only now it's backstage. John Cena comes running in. He tells her she needs to relax and comforts her.

Match #7 - Kofi Kingston (Ghana, West Africa) vs. Antonio Cesaro (Lucerne, Switzerland)

Cesaro with a body slam and a double stomp. Kingston, though, comes back with a monkey flip but Cesaro puts him right back down.

We're back and Cesaro is still in control. Cesaro with a big double-leg takedown that sends Kingston smashing into the canvas for a two count. Kingston tries to rally but Cesaro hits a big uppercut to the back of the head. Kingston, though, hits the SOS out of nowhere but Cesaro gets his hand on the bottom rope at literally the last moment. Kingston hits the pendulum kick and then goes to the top for the big crossbody but Cesaro catches him right into a backbreaker. Cesaro grabs Kingston, loads him up and hits the Neutralizer.

Winner via pinfall: Antonio Cesaro

It's time for Miz TV with The Miz and his special guests Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow. This is some good comedy. Lots of talk about Rhodes' new mustache. Miz tries to stir up some things between the two partners, but Rhodes tells him off. Rhodes and Sandow were great, Miz was not.

Match #8 - John Cena (West Newbury, Mass.) vs. Big Show (Tampa, Fla.)

Show goes for a choke slam but Cena turns it into a DDT. Cena with a dropkick but it barely affects Show, who responds with a spear for two. Show with a big elbow drop and then he locks in a bear hug. Cena works his way out but can't capitalize as Show sends him to the outside. Cena back in the ring but runs right into a clothesline.

Show goes up to the second rope and hits a Vader Bomb for two. Show brings Cena to the other corner and goes for another Vader Bomb but Cena moves. He fires up and drops Show with a shoulder tackle and then a side suplex. He hits the Five-Knucle Shuffle, but Show no sells it and hits a choke slam for two.

Show lines Cena up for the WMD but Cena ducks it and hits the Attitude Adjustment. Both men down. But here comes Seth Rollins into the ring to attack Cena. Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns aren't too far behind.

Winner via disqualification: John Cena

The Shield keeps attacking Cena and are setting up a table when Kane and Daniel Bryan run down. Cena gets back in it, but Dolph Ziggler jumps in from commentary into the ring. Show back involved now. Here comes Sheamus to attack Ziggler. Everyone to the outside and in the ring, Cena spears Show through a table in the corner. The Shield, however, is beating Team Hell No down. Crowd chanting for Ryback and here he comes. The Shield standing tall at the front of the ring, but Ryback throws a ladder at them which sends them flying.

It's an all-out brawl as we go off the air to lead into Sunday's main event with Team Hell No and Ryback teaming to face The Shield.
