Impact: Six-man tag headlines show
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Impact Wrestling: it's the final stop prior to Final Resolution and TNA has a big main event on tap tonight. In big six-man tag action, Jeff Hardy teams with James Storm and AJ Styles to take on Bobby Roode, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian. Should be a good one!

Tonight's show emanates LIVE! from the Impact Zone in Orlando. Todd Keneley, "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

Well, this is quite the way to start the show. Bobby Roode, Christopher Daniels and Kazarian are out to toot their own horns. Daniels asks AJ Styles to come to the ring so they can talk like old friends. Styles makes his way out and notes that on his worst day and Daniels' best day, he still can't beat him. Daniels says Styles is failing right now because he is a loser and Styles' worst nightmare comes true in three days: Finding out Daniels is better than him.

Styles says Daniels' problem is he talks too much and attacks him. Not smart, pal. He gets beat on until James Storm and Jeff Hardy make the save. That's our six-main main event tonight.

Match #1 - TNA Television Championship - (c) Samoa Joe (Isle of Samoa) vs. Devon (New York City)

Joe with a knee drop, but Devon takes over when he dumps Joe to the outside. Joe, though, is able to get going and wins a slugfest with Devon. He hits an inverted atomic drop, a big boot and a back splash for two. Joe hits the corner uranage and grabs the Coquina Clutch but all of a sudden, some random blonde hops up on the apron and Doc comes from behind and hammers Joe behind the referee's back. Devon covers and gets the win.

Winner via pinfall and NEW TNA Television Champion: Devon

Mickie James is out. She says when she was on the shelf, she thought a lot about her career and made a pact to become the new Knockouts Champion. This brings Tara and Jesse out. Tara is talking about how great her life is when, of all people, Velvet Sky's music hits and she makes her way to the ring, returning to TNA after several months away.

Sky says she was re-signed by Brooke Hogan and 2013 will be the year of her as Knockouts Champion. Woohoo.

Match #2 - Robbie E & Robbie T (Seaside Heights, NJ) vs. Chavo Guerrero (El Paso, Texas) & Hernandez (Houston, Texas)

The Robbies isolate Guerrero. Nice sidewalk slam/forearm combo connects and E goes to work with a headlock. But Guerrero is able to hit a big suplex and brings in Hernandez. He launches himself at Hernandez and sends him flying with a back-body drop. He goes for a cover after a backbreaker but T breaks it up, only to get hit by a dropkick from Guerrero. Hernandez sends E flying again and hits a giant pounce. He tags in Guerrero who finishes E with a frog splash.

Winners via pinfall: Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez

Match #3 - Kurt Angle (Pittsburgh, Pa.) vs. Doc (Parts Unknown)

Angle goes right to work on Doc's knee. But Doc is able to get to his feet and levels Angle with a kick before clotheslining him over the top rope and to the floor. On the outside, Doc throws Angle into the steel steps. But back in the ring, Angle quickly gets right and hits the triple Germans on Doc. He wants the Angle Slam but Doc slips out and lands a big boot for two.

But after the pin attempt, Angle lands the ankle lock. Doc rolls through but Angle hits two more Germans before Doc hangs on to the ropes and delivers a low blow which the referee somehow doesn't see. Doc hits the ropes and hits a big lariat but Angle kicks out at two.

They trade reversals and Doc drills Angle with a choke slam for two. Both men back to their feet and Angle hits the Angle Slam and pulls the straps down and locks in the ankle lock, but Aces & Eights hit the ring and that's it.

Winner via disqualification: Kurt Angle

Aces & Eights are surrounding the ring when Samoa Joe, Garett Bischoff and Wes Brisco run in for the save. Angle challenges the group to an eight-man tag at Final Resolution.

Match #4 - No. 1 Contender's Match - Kenny King (Las Vegas, Nevada) vs. Kid Kash (Nashville, Tenn.) vs. Zema Ion (The Philippines)

King wants to go for a big dive, but Ion runs back in and sends King flying with a big clothesline. King, though, goes his dive in when he dives on both Kash and Ion. Ion responds by hitting a flip dive on both Kash and King. Ion to the top but King crotches him. Now we get a tower of doom spot and then Kash locks King in a Boston Crab. Ion breaks it up only for King to kick him in the head.

Kash to the top but Ion sends him flying to the floor. King comes in and hits a springboard neckbreaker on Ion and then finishes him off with the Royal Flush.

Winner via pinfall: Kenny King

Bully Ray is in the ring. He can't understand why Hulk Hogan won't book him and Austin Aries in a match, especially when they both want it and the fans want it. So Ray is going to stage a protest until that happens. This brings Aries out. He comes out with a chair himself and sits in the aisle. That is until Hogan's music hits and freaks Aries out. He says he's not letting either Ray or Aries push him around. So Ray needs to get out of his ring or Hogan's going to fire his ass or kick it right now.

Ray gets up and into Hogan's face, and Aries is egging them on, until Brooke comes running down. She calls Ray "Mark." Uh oh. This, of all things, is what drives Hogan over the edge. The man's shoot name. So he agrees to let Ray and Aries battle at the pay-per-view.

Match #5 - Bobby Roode (Toronto, Ontario), Christopher Daniels (Los Angeles, Calif.) & Kazarian (Anaheim, Calif.) vs. Jeff Hardy (Cameron, NC), James Storm (Leiper's Fork, Tenn.) & AJ Styles (Gainesville, Ga.)

It should be noted for official public record that Daniels and Kazarian are wearing Zubaz for this match. Yes, you read that right. Zubaz. This is really happening.

Hardy gets isolated by the heels and is having a hard time breaking that control. He gets close to making a tag a few times but is brought right back into the wrong corner each time. But then, completely out of nowhere, Hardy hits the Twist of Fate on Roode. Both men down. Roode brings in Kazarian and Hardy tags in Styles. He runs wild.

Roode breaks up a pinfall attempt but Storm comes in and hits the Codebreaker on Roode and the backstabber on Daniels. It all breaks down from there and Storm and Styles end up arguing. In the midst of that, Hardy tags himself in and hits the Twist of Fate on Kazarian to end it.

Winners via pinfall: Jeff Hardy, James Storm & AJ Styles
