Impact: Gang member unmasked by Park
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Impact Wrestling: The Aces & Eights saga continues as Sting promises to unmask a member on Open Fight Night, where Bully Ray calls out Devon. Elsewhere, Hulk Hogan lays out a very interesting scenario for AJ Styles, Bobby Roode and James Storm. Should be a good one!

Tonight's show emanates LIVE! from the Impact Zone in Orlando. Todd Keneley and Jeremy Borash and later "The Professor" Mike Tenay are our hosts.

Joseph Park is in the ring. He's here to challenge any member of Aces & Eights to a fight, right here, right now. Four members of the group come out and surround the ring. They all enter the ring and start pushing him around when Kurt Angle makes his way to the ring. They go to town on him when Sting's music hits and he comes to the ring with a bat in hand and chases them off.

Sting gets the mic and says tonight, a member of Aces & Eights is going to get their mask ripped off.

Match #1 - Magnus (Norfolk, England) vs. Samoa Joe (Isle of Samoa)

Joe hits the ring and immediately lights Magnus up with a gigantic chop. Air Samoa connects and this is all Joe in the early going. He hits some punches and hits the ropes, but runs right into a flying knee from Magnus.

Joe wants the Coquina Clutch but Magnus drops down for a jawbreaker. He can't gain much momentum, though, because he gets dropped with a uranage. They battle on the outside now and Magnus is looking for something under the ring. He's got a wrench as Joe is dealing with referee Earl Hebner. Joe gets in the ring and charges Magnus and Magnus clocks him with the wrench, dropping him cold. That'll do it.

Winner via disqualification: Samoa Joe

Kurt Angle storms into Hulk Hogan's office and is screaming about wanting Devon. Hogan says if there's anything left of Devon after tonight, Angle can have him at Turning Point.

Christopher Daniels and Kazarian are out and for their Open Fight Night challenge, they call out the Spanish announce team of Hector Guerrero and Willie Urbina. Ha!

They come down and Urbina tries to hold Guerrero back. Daniels shoves Urbina down and Guerrero clocks Daniels only to be hit from behind by Kazarian. They beat them down for a few until Chavo Guerrero and Hernandez make the save.

Match #2 - Gut Check - Christian York (Culpeper, Va.) vs. Zema Ion (The Philippines)

York gets off to a hot start. He hits a rolling cannon ball into the corner. He goes to the top but Ion rolls to the apron. York dismounts and grabs him by the hair, but Ion snaps his neck and gains control. Ion rakes the eyes. He goes for a springboard moonsault but York gets his knees up. He hits a big clothesline and hits the Moonswing but Ion kicks out at the very last moment.

They head to the outside and York with a head scissors on the floor, but as he re-enters, Ion attacks and locks in the Submission Impossible and York verbally submits.

Winner via submission: Zema Ion

Aces & Eights is brawling with Sting, Bully Ray, Garett Bischoff, Wes Brisco and Kurt Angle in the back. Then Devon shows up and taunts Ray and Ray runs after him.

Match #3 - ODB (Minneapolis, Minn.) vs. Jessie (Hollywood, Calif.)

This one's all about seeing how they can do a match without much physical contact. ODB slaps Jessie's chest beat red. Jessie, though, gains control of the match. He slams ODB and then goes to kiss Tara only to turn right around into a body slam. ODB spanks him. Tara jumps on the apron and distracts ODB and Jessie rolls her up and gets the win. Captivating.

Winner via pinfall: Jessie

Match #4 - Robbie E (Seaside Heights, NJ) vs. Jeff Hardy (Cameron, NC)

Robbie calls out Hardy, looking to continue his success against him after gaining five points from him in the BFG Series a while back. Oh!

Hardy takes the early part of the match but Robbie takes over and goes to work on the champion. Robbie with a lifting DDT for two. Hardy, though, fires up and hits the Twist of Fate in no time flat. He goes to the top, right in front of Robbie T, and hits the Swanton Bomb, finishing the match.

Winner via pinfall: Jeff Hardy

Austin Aries comes out to taunt Hardy after the match. So Hardy suggests they have a ladder match for the title at Turning Point. "I'm a professional wrestler, not a ladder climber!" Aries says as he walks off in a huff.

Bobby Roode is out. He claims he's not here to fight, he's here because he got screwed. He complains about last week's process to determine a No. 1 contender. He says he knows he couldn't get a shot when Aries was champion, but now that Hardy is, he should be the No. 1 contender.

This brings out AJ Styles. He notes while Roode was champion, he had some other things going on. Then Styles goes into roast mode with this:

While you were heavyweight champion, I was dealing with some issues. Not my issues, but someone else's. Pictures were being taken, videos were being made. Being made of AJ Styles getting into an elevator with someone of the opposite sex. Seems to be the new fad if you're name is AJ. But nobody cares about it.

After the burn, Styles challenges Roode to a match because it's Open Fight Night.

Roode says maybe Styles didn't hear him earlier, he's not here to fight, so the answer is no. He goes to walk off and Styles turns to complain and Roode attacks from behind. Styles fires up and clothesline Roode to the floor. He's loading up for a big dive when Hulk Hogan's music hits. He comes out with James Storm by his side.

Hogan declares that both Styles and Roode deserve a title shot, but it's going to be 100 percent in their hands. He declares that Styles, Roode and Storm will meet in a triple threat match at Turning Point. But there's one big stipulation: The man who takes the pinfall isn't eligible for another title shot until Bound For Glory next year.

Matt Morgan and Joey Ryan are here. Morgan is angry about not getting Hogan's attention. Morgan declares he's going to eat through the entire roster one-by-one until he owns the world heavyweight championship.

Ryan then makes his Open Fight Night declaration.

Match #5 - Joey Ryan (Hollywood, Calif.) vs. Rob Van Dam (Battle Creek, Mich.)

Ryan takes this one rather quickly, actually, but in rather dubious fashion, as he hooks the trunks with a roll-up.

Winner via pinfall: Joey Ryan

RVD wants to keep fighting, but Morgan lays him out with the Carbon Footprint.

Match #6 - Bully Ray (New York City) vs. Devon (New York City)

Ray grabs a table from under the ring and then a bunch of Aces & Eights members hit the ring. Ray grabs his chain. Nine total members there. Now the roster hits the ring and we've got a big brawl.

They all clear out and it's Bully and Devon in the ring. Ray drops Devon with a punch. Crowd chants "table!" Ray wants a power bomb but a big man saves Devon. Now Joseph Park hits the ring to confront the big man. Park gets punched in the gut. He tries to fight back and unmasks him almost by accident and it's the former Luke Gallows. He responds by choke slamming Park through the table.
