Impact: Sting wants Devon
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Impact Wrestling: We get all the fallout from Sunday's Bound For Glory and Aces & Eights have full access to the Impact Zone. The TNA roster wants to get revenge, so Sting takes on the newest face of the group, Devon, in the main event. Should be a good one!

Tonight's show emanates LIVE! from the Impact Zone in Orlando. "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

We open up with Aces & Eights rolling into the building and then coming down to the ring. They kick it to the video screen, where the leader thanks Devon for his contributions to the cause. Now Devon comes through the back entrance and to the ring. The crowd chants, "You sold out!" at him. He said Aces & Eights have had his back, they were there to pick him up when he was down and out. He says the people are the most no-good, inbred, pieces of crap he's ever seen.

He says this is the group that will destroy TNA. The crowd is almost belligerent. They can't believe their beloved Devon has betrayed them. He addresses Bully Ray, Sting and Hulk Hogan. He says he didn't forget when Ray turned on his and put his son through a table two years ago. An eye for an eye.

At this point, Sting's music hits and he comes out with a lot of the big stars backing him up. Sting says it's time to do some formal introductions. Team TNA hits the ring and it's an all-out brawl. All the biggest stars in the company are out. And now here comes Hulk Hogan with a baseball bat as Aces & Eights bail out.

Hogan has the mic and he says Aces & Eights better come back out and here they come. Sting challenges Devon to a fight tonight. Ray wants it, too. Hogan says Devon has one choice: Fight Sting tonight, or get his ass out for good. Devon accepts. Crowd is chanting "We want Bully." Well, they aren't gonna get him.

Match #1 - TNA Television Championship - Samoa Joe (Isle of Samoa) vs. Robbie E (Seaside Heights, NJ)

Robbie tries to start a chop battle with Joe, but we all know that was a bad idea. Robbie wants a clothesline, but Joe ducks it and goes flying through the ropes onto Robbie T. Joe lands a kick to the gut, loads Robbie up and hits the Muscle Buster. He follows with the Coquina Clutch and Robbie taps.

Winner via pinfall and STILL TNA Television Champion: Samoa Joe

Robbie T wants some after the match but he gets the Coquina Clutch, too.

Match #2 - Tara (Louisville, Ky.) vs. ODB (Minneapolis, Minn)

ODB is distracted by her call and then has Tara's boyfriend Jesse motorboat her. This sets Tara off. Tara gets distracted by her boyfriend now and ODB gets a drink from the flask, spits it in Jesse's face and this the BAM! on Tara and that does it.

Winner via pinfall: ODB

Match #3 - Kid Kash (Nashville, Tenn.) & Gunner (Atlanta, Ga.) vs. Chavo Guerrero (El Paso, Texas) & Hernandez (Houston, Texas)

Hernandez comes in on fire and hits a big pounce on Kash and Guerrero follows with a frog crossbody on him to take it.

Winners via pinfall: Chavo Guerrero & Hernandez

The champ is here. Jeff Hardy makes his way to the ring. There are fireworks and confetti. He says nothing of value before Austin Aries comes out holding balloons and a plate of cookies. Aries tries to give them to Hardy but Hardy lets the balloons go to the rafters and slaps the cookies out of Aries' hands. Aries asks to see Hardy's custom title belt and spits on it three times before Hardy clocks him.

Match #4 - No. 1 Contender Consideration Bout - AJ Styles (Gainesville, Ga.) vs. Kurt Angle (Pittsburgh, Ga.) vs. Christopher Daniels (Los Angeles, Calif.)

The winner of this match will be in the mix with Mr. Anderson, James Storm and Bully Ray for a shot at Jeff Hardy next week.

It's a back-and-forth match all the way through. Styles has a chance to finish Angle with the 450 splash but he instead springboards to the outside onto Daniels. He throws Daniels back into the ring and before he can reenter, Angle shoves Daniels into Styles, knocking him off the apron. Angle hits the Angle Slam on Daniels and that does it.

Winner via pinfall: Kurt Angle

James Storm makes his way to the ring. He talks about his bucket list, which includes winning back the world championship. Before he can go much longer, Bobby Roode interrupts and makes his way to the ring. Roode says Storm knows deep down inside him that Roode will always be the better man. Storm just says, "Nope!" and delivers the Last Call Superkick.

Match #5 - Devon (New York City) vs. Sting (Venice Beach, Calif.)

Devon in control of the match. He goes to the second rope for a diving headbutt but Sting moves and this gives him the chance to fire up. Jumping clothesline connects and he follows that with the Stinger Splash and the Scorpion Deathdrop. He wants the Deathlock and has it applied. Devon in trouble when Aces & Eights hit the ring.

Winner via disqualification: Sting

It's a beatdown of Sting and here comes Anderson and Garett Bischoff. More of the roster coming down trying to even the odds. Aces & Eights appear to be getting the better of it when Bully Ray hits the ring with a bat and chases them all off as we fade to black.
