WWE NXT: Rollins defends title for first time

Tonight on WWE NXT: With WWE Champion CM Punk in the house to scout, Seth Rollins makes the first defense of his NXT Championship against the streaking Michael McGillicutty. Who would come away with the title? Should be a good one!

And we are TAPED! from Orlando, Fla. Byron Saxton, William Regal and later Jim Ross and CM Punk are our hosts. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).

Match #1 - Bo Dallas (Brooksville, Fla.) vs. Johnny Curtis (Westbrook, Maine)

Curtis goes to work early but Dallas gets going and hits a spear and that is it. Nice comeback win by Bo Dallas over a former NXT season winner.

Winner via pinfall: Bo Dallas

Match #2 - Kaitlyn (Houston, Texas) vs. Alicia Fox (Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.) vs. Audrey Marie (Houston, Texas) & Paige (Norwich, England)

Audrey and Paige take control on Kaitlyn but Kaitlyn is able to get close enough to the corner where Fox tags herself in and is able to retake the match for her team as she and Kaitlyn are able to cut Audrey off. Kaitlyn with a leg scissors but Audrey is able to fight it off and tag in Paige, who comes in on fire against Fox.

Paige loads Fox up but Fox counters with an inside cradle for two. Paige this a kick and then a dropkick but Kaitlyn breaks up the pin attempt. Audrey comes in but gets thrown out of the ring by Kaitlyn, but Paige runs Fox into Kaitlyn and brings her back with a rollup and gets the pin.

Winners via pinfall: Paige & Audrey Marie

Match #3 - Leo Kruger (Johannesburg, South Africa) vs. Dante Dash (Jersey City, New Jersey)

Kruger takes this one rather easily, squash-style.

Match #4 - NXT Championship - (c) Seth Rollins (Davenport, Iowa) vs. Michael McGillicutty (Champlin, Minn.)

This is Rollins' first defense of his NXT Championship.

McGillicutty in total control of the champion but Rollins is able to hit an STO that sends McGillicutty into the turnbuckle and that allows him to get going. He hits a dropkick, clotheslines McGillicutty over the top rope and then hits a suicide dive that takes McGillicutty out.

Rollins throws McGillicutty into the ring and goes to springboard in but McGillicutty drop kicks him out of the air for a two count. McGillicutty with a Saito suplex and Rollins barely kicks out in the nick of time. McGillicutty wants a suplex but Rollins counters with an inside cradle for two. McGillicutty responds with a big lariat and now McGillicutty is getting frustrated.

McGillcutty goes for the McGillicutter but Rollins slips it, grabs McGillicutty and hits Sliced Bread for the win.
