Impact: Hardy gets right back to work
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Impact Wrestling: After winning the Bound For Glory Series on Sunday at No Surrender, Jeff Hardy isn't getting much rest. In the main event of the show, Hardy takes on Bully Ray in a grudge match egged on by Austin Aries. Elsewhere, a friend makes a shocking turn on a friend. Should be a good one!

Tonight's show emanates LIVE! from the Impact Zone in Orlando. "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

Austin Aries is out to start the show. He talks about taking a piece out of Aces & Eights and then goes on to talk about the man who won the Bound For Glory Series, Jeff Hardy. He asks him to come to the ring. They start talking about their match at Bound For Glory when Bully Ray comes out. He's not a happy man.

Ray tells Aries he's lucky he's not facing him at BFG because he'd beat him in the middle of the ring. Then Ray tells Hardy he felt bad for Hardy at No Surrender and took his eye off then all for one second and it cost him. He says he's been beating Hardy for 15 years. Aries now starts to stir it up between Hardy and Ray and instigates a fight between them. We have a match, apparently.

Match #1 - TNA X Division Championship - (c) Zema Ion (The Philippines) vs. Sonjay Dutt (India)

They immediately hit the floor and it's Dutt who's rolling early. This is all Dutt in the early going. He hits a moonsault double footstomp but Ion gets his foot on the ropes. He slides out and Dutt throws him back in. Dutt goes back to the top and wants it again but Ion crotches him and brings him down, stacking him up right on the injured shoulder and that does it.

Winner via pinfall and STILL TNA X Division Champion: Zema Ion

Bobby Roode is out. He talks about how he was screwed against Austin Aries. Now he's here to cut an epic promo on James Storm and he explains why he screwed him at No Surrender. Storm's music hits and he's out to the ring and the two start brawling. They head to the back.

Match #2 - Kazarian (Anaheim, Calif.) vs. AJ Styles (Gainesville, Ga.)

They end up brawling on the outside and Kazarian actually monkey flips Styles on the floor. That's a new one. Back in the ring, Pele connects for Daniels. He loads Kazarian up for the Styles Clash and hits it. That is all she wrote for this one.

Winner via pinfall: AJ Styles

Hulk Hogan is here to talk about the BFG Series. He also approves the Ray-Hardy match for tonight. Then he moves his attention to Aces & Eights. He says from now on, the Impact Zone is going to be locked down to keep them out. But then Aces & Eights show up on the video screen and say Hogan has to ask himself, did Hogan lock them out or lock them in. Then they drive some paranoia in him by suggesting there could be plainclothes members of the group.

Match #3 - Christopher Daniels (Los Angeles, Calif.) vs. Chavo Guerrero (El Paso, Texas)

Daniels in control. He keeps thwarting Guerrero's comeback attempts. Daniels tries to hit Guerrero with his title belt when things go awry but Guerrero ducks it. He hits the Three Amigos and goes to the top where he hits the Frog Splash. That does it.

Winner via pinfall: Chavo Guerrero

Tara is out and she asks Miss Tessmacher to come to the ring to congratulate her for winning at No Surrender. She is very complimentary to Tessmacher, almost over the top. She asks to put the belt on her and does. This was weird.

But then as Tessmacher is posing, Tara attacks her and lays her out. Ruh roh!

Match #4 - Bully Ray (New York City) vs. Jeff Hardy (Cameron, NC)

Ray dominating the match and he is all over Hardy, barely giving Hardy room to breathe until he leaves a small opening and Hardy uses it to hit Whisper in the Wind.

Hardy hits the double leg drop for two. But Ray counters the Twist of Fate with the Bubba Bomb but Hardy kicks out at two. Ray wants it again but now Hardy hits a DDT for two. Hardy goes to the top but Ray dives and hits the ropes, crouching Hardy. Ray with a superplex but Hardy again kicks out. Hardy again gets going and wants the Swanton Bomb but Ray moves and hits the Bubba Bomb but Hardy is up to the task.

Ray wants a big boot but Hardy counters into a Twist of Fate. And another. He goes to the top and hits the Swanton and that does it.

Winner via pinfall: Jeff Hardy
