WWE NXT: Someone's getting fired!
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on WWE NXT: After weeks and weeks of putting up with the antics of Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks, NXT GM William Regal has finally had enough. After we solve the kidnapping saga of Matt Striker, Regal snaps and pits Hawkins and Reks against each other with the loser getting fired. Should be a good one!

And we are TAPED! from London, England. Josh Mathews and William Regal are our commentators and Matt Striker is our host. This show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG,V).

Match #1 - Percy Watson (Miami, Fla.) vs. Johnny Curtis (Westbrook, Maine)

Curtis in control. He whips Watson into the corner and then stands on his throat. Side headlock for Curtis and Watson's eyes are rolling back, but Watson is able to muster the strength to stand and slam Curtis. That gets Watson rolling. He hits some dropkicks, a belly-to-belly throw and then the Showtime Splash for two. He pulls Curtis on his shoulders, but Curtis slips out. Watson shoves him into the corner and catches him back on his shoulders on the rebound, hitting the flapjack for the fall.

Winner via pinfall: Percy Watson

William Regal grabs the mic and asks Curtis to come back down from the ramp. He asks Curtis to come back and sit next to him on commentary to replace Maxine, who has a match.

Match #2 - Maxine (Tampa, Fla.) vs. Kaitlyn (Houston, Texas)

Maxine all over Kaitlyn, but Kaitlyn hits a crossbody and then repeatedly runs Maxine's head into the middle turnbuckle. Kaitlyn is pulled away and then charges back, but Maxine throws her into the corner. Maxine hops on her back and locks in the reverse guillotine and Kaitlyn taps.

Winner via submission: Maxine

Regal grabs the mic again and asks Maxine to come over. He says if they wish to stay employed here, they must stay together. Maxine has to be Curtis' manager. Regal happens to have a contract handy. Curtis signs it. Maxine is not very happy about this. She signs it. Regal goes for a handshake but grabs Maxine's arm and puts handcuffs on her. Then he does the same to Curtis, chaining them together.

Darren Young and Titus O'Neil are backstage. Young is angry about O'Neil trying to woo Tamina Snuka, but O'Neil changes his tone when he shows him papers from Big Johnny saying they are going to Smackdown.

Curt Hawkins and Tyler Reks are on their way down. They are here to proclaim their innocence in the Matt Striker case. They don't know where he is and they don't care. Striker comes out and saying he's learned he can never back down. He says he was beaten during the time he was captured. He calls Hawkins a moron for leaving his walking stick behind. He gets on the ring and asks Striker what he's going to do about it. Striker takes baseball-sized swings at both of them and Regal puts a stop to it. He says he's sick of Hawkins and Reks and right now, they are going to face each other with the loser being fired. And oh yeah, Striker is the referee.

Match #3 - Curt Hawkins (Queens, NY) vs. Tyler Reks (Parts Unknown)

Hawkins in control of the match. He trips up Reks but sliding out of the ring but Reks leg-shoves him into the barricade. Reks then does something he doesn't usually do, going vertical with a slingshot crossbody to the outside.

Reks throws Hawkins back in the ring and fires up. He hits a corner splash and then plants Hawkins' face into the mat for two. Out of nowhere, Reks gets a rollup and that's it. Buh bye Curt.

Winner via pinfall: Tyler Reks

Hawkins gets in Striker's face after the match and Striker lays him out.

Regal grabs the mic and officially fires Hawkins. Then he calls Reks over and shakes his hand. Reks says Regal isn't bad at all, but then Regal fires Reks as well. Ha!
