Former wrestler Maven busted
By WENN.COM
Retired wrestler Maven Huffman has been arrested in Florida after allegedly visiting three doctors to score multiple pain medication prescriptions. The former Surreal Life star was taken into custody on Monday after cops discovered Huffman had allegedly been doctor shopping for Oxycodone and Hydrocodone prescriptions, which is illegal in the southern state without full-disclosure. According to TMZ.com, Huffman is believed to have collected more than 1,000 pills over the last two weeks by visiting different pharmacies in a bid to conceal his activity. The 35-year-old, who was released on $2,000 bail, could face up to five years behind bars if convicted.
Huffman was a former Grade 6 teacher who was chosen the winner from 13 hopefuls on MTV's made-for-TV reality show Tough Enough and given a contract with the WWE back in 2001.
