Impact: Roode faces Sting's consequences
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Impact Wrestling: After attacking both AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy after the main event last week, Bobby Roode has to face the consequences from Sting, who books Roode into a triple threat match with Styles and Hardy. Elsewhere, the Television Championship is on the line in "Robapalooza 2011" as Robbie E defends the gold against Rob Van Dam with Robbie T at ringside.

Tonight's taped show emanates from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Fla. "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

Sting is out to start the show. He says there's a lot of inmates trying to run the asylum and it's getting out of hand. He's the warden and he's going to deal with Bobby Roode, so he calls him out.

Roode makes his way out and Sting says everyone has been on their best behavior recently except for Roode. He notes how Roode took out both AJ Styles and Jeff Hardy last week. Roode says that was an amazing way for the show to go off the air last week. He surmises that Sting is out here to thank him for saving Impact Wrestling and putting it on the map.

Sting says he's here to remind Roode that it's his way, not Roode's way. He tells him for every bad choice, there's going to be a consequence, and that starts right now. Styles' music hits and he walks down the ramp.

Roode says Sting is fighting Styles' battles for him. Sting says he's not done yet and Hardy's music hits and he comes down. Roode says screw Sting and his decision making. Sting says tonight, it's going to be a three-way match between Roode, Styles and Hardy.

Match #1 - No. 1 Contender's Match - Ink Inc. vs. Mexican America vs. The Pope & Devon

Pope is all over pretty much everybody early on until Hernandez takes over. That last about 45 seconds until Devon gets the tag and starts running wild. He tosses Hernandez across the ring and hits a double clothesline. Jesse Neal tags himself in and goes for a spear on Devon, but he dodges it and he hits Hernandez. Devon grabs Neal coming back, hits him with a spinebuster and that is it.

Winners via pinfall: The Pope & Devon

X Division Champion Austin Aries is here and he has a mic. He notes he has run the table on the division, beating everyone. He suggests the division be renamed the "A-Double Division." He says no one can hold a candle to what he does. This brings out Kid Kash, and boy does he look surly. But really, when does he not?

Kash is not happy about Aries screwing him over at Turning Point. He also notes Aries walked out on him during a tag team match last week. Kash notes he held the title longer than anyone else before Aries even entered the company. Aries offers a handshake to Kash for a title match. They shake and then both men punch each other at the same time. That was good.

Match #2 - Street Fight - ODB (Minneapolis, Minn.) vs. Mickie James (Richmond, Va.)

The brawl starts on the ramp with ODB in control, but Mickie gets it together briefly only to have ODB throw her into the steps. Now we head into the crowd and Mickie whips ODB into a stage, busting that up. They go backstage and ODB cracks Mickie with a trash can for two. Back-and-forth here. Mickie with a broom handle shot and they head back into the arena and into the ring.

ODB grabs a chair. Before she can use it, Mickie with a roll-up for two. She fires up with some clotheslines and kicks for two. She goes for the jumping DDT but ODB counters into a fallaway slam. Now she grabs that steel chair and goes swinging, but Mickie ducks and hits a spinning back kick that sends the chair into ODB's face. That'll do it, folks.

Winner via pinfall: Mickie James

Match #3 - TNA World Television Championship - (c) Robbie E (Seaside Heights, NJ) vs. Rob Van Dam (Battle Creek, Mich.)

RVD sends Robbie into orbit early with a big monkey flip and Robbie takes a walk, only to have RVD hit him with a sliding dropkick. He goes to slingshot out, but Robbie T steps in front. Back in the ring, RVD hits a kick and then Rolling Thunder. He goes to go to the top for the Five Star, but gets distracted by Robbie T and this allows Robbie to take over.

Robbie throws RVD to the outside and Robbie T broods over him when Eric Young comes down brandishing a fire extinguisher. This takes the referee out of play. In the ring, RVD hits a kick and the Frog Splash, but out of nowhere, Christopher Daniels runs in and hits Angel's Wings. Robbie into the cover and Earl Hebner comes back to the ring and counts the fall.

Winner via pinfall and STILL TNA World Television Champion: Robbie E

Now things have settled in and we have more of a match. Roode sends Styles to the floor and goes to work on Hardy. A knee-drop for two. Styles tries to get back in but Roode drop kicks him off the apron. Double R spinebuster connects for two. Roode picks Hardy up but instead Styles comes flying back in with the springboard forearm. Now Styles is on fire and rolling.

Styles goes for the Clash but Roode sends Styles to the apron. Styles goes to springboard but Roode throws Hardy into ropes and Styles crashes and burns. Roode hits the Perfect Plex on Styles but Hardy makes the save. Now it's Hardy's turn to go on offense.

He hits the Twist of Fate and goes to the top for the Swanton Bomb but Jeff Jarrett comes out of the crowd and crotches Hardy. Roode goes for the cover and gets it before Styles can break up the pin.

Winner via pinfall: Bobby Roode

Jarrett goes back up the ramp but Sting stops him. He tells him because he interfered, he's going to be in a steel cage match with Hardy at Final Resolution. If Jarrett wins, Hardy has agreed to leave TNA. But if Hardy wins, Hardy will become the No. 1 contender for the world title at Genesis. Karen Jarrett comes out and is throwing a fit, so Sting says, to make sure she doesn't get involved, he is going to handcuff himself to her at ringside.
