Impact: Roode betrays Storm, wins title
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Impact Wrestling: For many years, Bobby Roode and James Storm have combined to form one of the greatest tag teams in wrestling history in Beer Money. Two weeks ago, Storm won the TNA World Heavyweight Title and offered his best friend the first shot, only to have his friend betray him in the main event.

Tonight's taped show emanates from Macon, Ga. "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

The TNA World Heavyweight Champion, James Storm, is out to start the show. He says he's been around the world six times and through all that, there's been only one man by his side the whole time, his tag team partner Bobby Roode. He asks Roode to come to the ring. He tells Roode he wants him to bring everything he has in tonight's match. Roode says he will and that he owes all the success he has in his career to Storm.

Roode says he knows opportunities like this don't come around too often, so he says they should do what they've been doing for the last four year: Steal the show.

Roode is frustrated now. He loads Storm up on the top rope and goes for a superplex of his own, but Storm knocks him down and rises, hitting an elbow drop for two. Storm goes for the Last Call but Roode counters. Storm gets shoved near the referee and Roode charges, but the referee ducks out of the way and hurts his knee.

They trade reversals and Storm hits him with the double knees to the face and Roode goes to the outside. Roode ends up next to Storm's beer bottle, he looks at the referee. Storm grabs his hair and Roode pulls away and breaks the bottle over his head. He gets in the ring and yells at the referee to count.
