Usually a release from WWE is a time of sadness. Apparently not for now-ex WWE Diva Maryse Ouelett, who parted ways with the company on Friday.

"WWE has come to terms on the release of WWE Raw Diva Maryse as of today, October 28, 2011. WWE wishes Maryse the best in all of her future endeavors," reads the note on the website.

However, in her posts on Twitter, @maryse0uellet, she was positively jubilant.

"Im Happy, im Smiling, and FREE, now its time to get Naughty ............BE SEXY" she wrote Friday evening.

Earlier in the day, in her first post-release post, she wrote, "I'M OUT and sexier than ever! Thanks to all my fans, colleagues and @WWE Universe. Time to party! "Release" party tonight at @trousdale LA"

Ouelett had been off the active roster for the last few months following abdominal/hernia surgery in the summer. She has been co-hosting NXT Season 5.

She was the only French Canadian on the WWE roster, which now only includes five Canadians: Christian, Natalya, Tyson Kidd, Jinder Mahal and Santino Marella.
