OMG! The week's highlight is a DVD
By TIM BAINES - Ottawa Sun

In a week where Good Ol' JR stepped back into the ring, maybe in his last RAW hurrah ... and TNA crowned a new champ, the highlight was a video.

ESPN's E:60 produced a brilliant must-see video on the rise and fall of Scott Hall, who reached such heights with his Razor Ramon character and has experienced such lows with addiction issues in recent times. This is The Wrestler all over ... except this is real, all too real ... about a former giant of a man who can't get his life together. TMZ is reporting that a reunion with his son Cody fell apart after the video and Hallšs life is once again in shambles.

Another former WWE star, Tyson Tomko, was arrested a week ago, charged with robbing a drugstore for Oxycodone and injecting the drug at a Chili's restaurant bathroom.

The news wasn't all bad. I had a chance to watch WWE's OMG DVD and was, for the most part, thoroughly entertained with moments like The Rockers' split, Stone Cold assaulting Booker T in a grocery store and Vince McMahon in a hospital bed and Jake Roberts' snake sinking its fangs into Macho Man Randy Savage. Most of the Top 50 moments were legit ... really, it didn't need Mae Young giving birth to a hand, but it's a video worth picking up.

AROUND THE RING

Hulk Hogan is a good guy again, coming to the aid of Sting at Bound for Glory ... James Storm is the new TNA champ, beating Kurt Angle ... WWE sent Spanish announcer Hugo Savinovich packing.
