Raw: JR gains measure of revenge, makes Cole tap
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Monday Night Raw: After much criticism, Raw interim general manager John Laurinaitis admits a mistake and welcomes "Good Ol' JR" Jim Ross back to Raw, but not for commentary. Instead, Ross is back to team with John Cena as they face Alberto Del Rio and Michael Cole in the main event. Should be a good one!

For the first time ever, we are LIVE! from Mexico City, Mexico. Michael Cole and Jerry "The King" Lawler are our hosts and this show is presented in WWEHD (TV-PG, V)

The Interim General Manager of Raw, John Laurinaitis, is out to start the show, speaking English to a Spanish-speaking audience. Smart! He says he might make mistakes and hopes for their consideration. He says he made a mistake last week by firing Jim Ross. He says he got a bunch of tweets about it, so now he wants to show everyone he's fair, so he welcomes Jim Ross back to Raw.

Ross goes to put his headset on but Laurinaitis asks him to come into the ring. Laurinaitis gives him a big hug. He says he was very unprofessional last week. He says JR isn't here to commentate tonight. He says after JR did the "walk of shame" last week, something happened during commercial break. We see Michael Cole leading the crowd in the goodbye song. Laurinaitis says he feels they should settle the differences between JR and Cole tonight on Raw. He says, in the main event tonight, it will be Cole and Alberto Del Rio to face Jim Ross and John Cena.
