Canada is WWE country

Wrestling and Canada go together like peanut butter and jam.

It's just a combination that has worked forever.

Throw out the stereotypes -- c'mon, the fans aren't really toothless (for the most part anyway).

But wrestling's royalty -- the WWE -- is making another swing through Canada in the next few days. There'll be stops in London, Halifax, Moncton and Kingston, Ont., before Ottawa hosts RAW on Monday and Toronto gets Smackdown on Tuesday. This on the heels of a western swing that included TV stops in Calgary and Edmonton.

Stars such as Christian and Nattie Neidhart carry the flag for Canada now. And don't believe that Santino Marella is from Italy -- he's a good Canadian, too.

Fans will treat WWE well on the Canadian swing.

They'll go to the shows. They'll buy the T-shirts. And they'll cheer and curse on cue.

AROUND THE RING

Okay, not sure if I'm buying this WWE releases Kevin Nash thing. Sometimes the lines are blurred between reality and a work. Would it be possible that he turns up out of the crowd and interferes in a No DQ match between CM Punk and Triple H at the Night of Champions pay-per-view on Sept. 18? And does he take "control" of the company from Triple H? I dunno, just wondering ... Kurt Angle was nabbed for a DWI in Virginia, but says he's innocent and may have been set up ... TNA has its No Surrender pay-per-view on 9/11 ... Hugh Jackman will guest-host RAW on Sept. 19.
