Impact: Hardy asks for one more shot

Tonight on Impact Wrestling: The show rolls on to Sunday's No Surrender with two title matches, including a World Heavyweight Title match between Kurt Angle and Mr. Anderson. Also on the show, Jeff Hardy returns to TNA for the first time since March.

And we are TAPED! from Von Braun Civic Center in Huntsville, Ala. "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

Mr. Anderson is out to start the show. He says he's been a man of few words the past few weeks. He admits he did sign a deal with the devils, Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff. He says he got something to say to Bully Ray: Thank you. He says if Immortal thought he was annoying before, just wait. He says he's going to start tonight by going after their new boy Kurt Angle. He says he still has a rematch for the title. Tonight, he cashes in. He says he knows Angle won't be out here alone tonight, so neither will he and brings out The Insane Icon, Sting.

Match #1 - British Invasion vs. The Pope (Harlem, NY) & Devon (New York City)

Invasion in control on Pope. Devon wants the tag badly and he gets in and comes in on Douglas Williams. Now he shoulder blocks Magnus. Side slam for two on Williams and then a neck breaker for Magnus. Devon with a scoop slam on Williams but Magnus breaks up the pin. Now Pope dispatches of Magnus and Devon hits Williams with a spinebuster and that's it.

Winners via pinfall: Devon & The Pope

Match #2 - World Television Championship - (c) Eric Young (Nashville, Tenn.) vs. Robbie E. (Seaside Heights, NJ)

Robbie trying to cheat early and often by using the ropes. Now Young takes his shorts off revealing a pair of Robbie's own shorts. Slam for Young and now he goes to the top and hits a big elbow for two. After a series of reversals, Young hits a piledriver and that's it.

Winner via pinfall and STILL World Television Champion: Eric Young

After the match Rob Terry comes out and attacks Young and gives him a huge power bomb.

Match #3 - World Heavyweight Championship - (c) Kurt Angle (Pittsburgh, Pa.) vs. Mr. Anderson (Green Bay, Wisc.)

Angle with a headlock but Anderson elbows out and misses a clothesline. Angle hits the ropes and they hit a double clothesline. They both stand and start trading in the centre of the ring. Anderson slips out of the Angle Slam and hits the Plunge for two. Anderson goes for the Mic Check but Angle elbows out and grabd Anderson and hits the triple Germans for two. Angle pulls the straps down and locks in the ankle lock. He rolls through into a pinning predicament for two. They stand and Anderson grabs Angle and gives him the Mic Check but Angle kicks out at the very last moment.

They get into a clinch and their hands go flying and one goes right into the eye of referee Brian Hebner. As he composes himself, Angle hits Anderson with a low blow and then the Angle Slam. He covers but Sting pulls Hebner out of the ring as he goes to make the count. Angle's yelling at Sting and turns around right into the Mic Check. Anderson makes the cover but here comes Immortal down to the ring to break things up.

Winner via disqualification: Mr. Anderson

All of Immortal down and they beat both Anderson and Sting down. Immortal stands tall.

Match #4 - Winter (England) & Angelina Love (Toronto, Ontario) vs. Mickie James (Richmond, Va.) & Velvet Sky (The Big Apple

Velvet hits the ropes but Love trips her and Winter goes to work. Finally Velvet gets the tag to James and she comes in with a flying Thesz Press and a neckbreaker but Love breaks up the pin attempt. Velvet in now attacking Love. Big spear on Love. Velvet dispatches of her but behind the referee's back, Winter spits the mist in Mickie's face and pins her.

Winners via pinfall: Winter & Angelina Love

Austin Aries is out. He says he has his sights set directly on Brian Kendrick and his X Division title. He tells Kendrick to quit cheap shooting him and come out and talk to him man to man. And here comes Kendrick in a suit with a briefcase. He looks like Drew McIntyre. He talks about looking different right now and then decides he hates the way he looks right now. Kendrick starts talking and Aries speaks for everyone and tells him he didn't understand a single thing he said. Now Kendrick attacks him again. He goes for the Sliced Bread but Aries slips out of the ring.

Match #5 - Four Corners Tornado Match - Bully Ray (New York City) vs. Gunner (Atlanta, Ga.) vs. James Storm (Leiper's Fork, Tenn.) vs. Bobby Roode (Toronto, Ontario)

Samoa Joe immediately comes out with taped fists. He's cut off by Matt Morgan and security breaks them up.

Gunner goes for a cover early but Bully Ray chastises him for doing so, noting he's supposed to get the win. Storm and Roode take a second to decide whether they want to go at it, but Gunner charges them and they hit the Beer Money suplex only to get clotheslined by Ray. Roode takes a Bubba Bomb but Gunner hits Ray with a big knee and pins him.

Winner via pinfall: Gunner

Jeff Hardy is out. Hardy thanks the network for letting him come out. He says the last time he was in this ring, he was messed up, pathetic. He says there are a lot of people in the back mad at him and they have every right to be. He says he hit rock bottom at Victory Road. He says he can't expect anyone to give him another chance. All he can do is ask. He wants one more shot. Crowd chants "one more shot." "All I can do is ask," he concludes.
