Becky Bayless, TNA part ways
By JON WALDMAN -- SLAM! Wrestling

A TNA Knockout has parted ways with the company, as Becky Bayless, better known as Cookie, announced that she is no longer a part of the roster.

The announcement came over Bayless's Twitter on Friday morning.

"Good morning booskis! New day & new twitter name...A big thank you to my TNA fam & fans, but it's time to move on...excited for what's next!" she said via @becky_bayless. "I feel blessed that I was able to perform for such amazing... appreciative fans & I thank TNA 4 giving me an opportunity to do so."

PWInisder, later that day, reported that her contract was not renewed. As of Friday at 2:30 CST, TNA had yet to make any announcement on their website.

Bayless, real name Rebecca Treston, joined TNA in August 2010 and immediately began working alongside Robbie E as "Cookie". The two performed a send-up of Jersey Shore with Bayless seconding Robbie to the TNA X-Division Title.

Most famously during their time together, Cookie and Robbie E had a series of segments involving Jersey Shore present and past cast members Angelina Pivarnick (who Bayless would team with alongside Sarita against Velvey Sky, Angelina Love and Winter) and Jenni "JWoww" Farley.

Robbie and Cookie parted ways on screen on the August 11 edition of Impact.

Before joining TNA, Bayless had worked for several independent promotions, including Ring of Honor, where she made her debut in 2003 as a member of Special K. She would later work for Full Impact Pro, SHIMMER and Wrestlelicious.
