Impact: Sting, Angle battle Immortal
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Impact Wrestling: After capturing the World Heavyweight Championship last week, Sting is back in action this week, teaming with his next challenger, Kurt Angle, to take on Immortal's Mr. Anderson and Bully Ray. Elsewhere, the Bound For Glory Series continues with an exciting four-way ladder match.

Like usual, tonight's taped show emanates from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Fla. "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

The new heavyweight champion of the world is out to start the show. This is Sting. He says they are going to start doing things his way now. He says there's something exhilarating about being insane and he'd like to start today's business by conducting an interviewing with Hulk Hogan and Eric Bischoff.

Instead of them, he gets a clown. And it's not just any clown, it's an Olympic Clown Kurt Angle. Angel said he heard a lot of "I" in Sting's speech, but it was Angle who helped fend off Immortal and help Sting win the title. Angle said only one of them can walk out the best and it's going to be him because he's given himself no other choice.

Then Immortal's music hits and it's Mr. Anderson and Bully Ray. Ray said Angle and Sting are going to have to learn to work with each other because they'll be facing himself and Anderson tonight. Anderson tells Sting before he worries about Hogan and Bischoff, he needs to worry about him. Tonight.

Then he puts Steiner over the railing and gives him a leg drop. Back in the ring the two men go back-and-forth. RVD hits Rolling Thunder for two but Steiner hits an STO off the top for two. Match #2 - TNA Knockouts Tag Team Championship - (c) Sarita (Mexico City, Mexico) & Rosita vs. Tara (San Bernardino, Calif.) & Miss Tessmacher (Houston, Texas)

These two teams have been brawling all over the place lately and Tara and Tessmacher jump the champs as they enter, but once they get in the ring, it's all Sarita and Rosita. Now it breaks down into a four-way until referee Earl Hebner gains control of the action and it's Sarita and Rosita in control again.

Finally Tessmacher gets the tag to Tara. Tara loads Sarita up for the Widow's Peak but Madison Rayne breaks it up as Hebner is distracted. A double team goes wrong from Mexican America and that sets Tara up for a Sky High on Sarita and that's it. New champs!
