Impact: Anderson makes his decision
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Impact Wrestling: Immortal has been both courting and feuding with TNA World Heavyweight Champion Mr. Anderson for months now. Now it's time for the final decision. Immortal wants to know if Anderson is in or if he's out a week before his big title defense against Sting. What will his decision be?

Like usual, tonight's taped show emanates from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Fla. "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

Immortal members Bully Ray, Gunner and Scott Steiner are in the ring. Ray immediately calls out Mr. Anderson and out he comes. Ray tells Anderson he's upsetting a lot of people and Hogan is on his way, so he's in charge right now. Ray asks Anderson if he's seen Sting lately. He doesn't think he can beat him next week. He says it's a win-win if Anderson joins Immortal.

Steiner says it's time for Anderson to put up or shut up. He says Anderson has a decision to make tonight. And if he's against them, he's got to deal with him.

Gunner said Hogan laid it out to them and tonight's main event will be all of Immortal against Sting and Kurt Angle. If he doesn't make a decision, Immortal will make sure Anderson doesn't see the light of day on Impact even again. He says to hit their music.

Instead of their music, Sting's music hits and the lights go out. Sting is in the rafters laughing. The lights go back out and when they come up, Angle's in the ring and delivers Angle Slams to Gunner and Steiner. Ray bails.

Match #1 - Bound For Glory Series - Crimson (Brooklyn, NY) vs. Bobby Roode (Wall Street)

Crimson all over Roode, taking advantage of his injured shoulder. Modified T-Bone suplex lands for Crimson. He charges Roode in the corner but eats an elbow and then a foot. Roode comes off the second rope with a blockbuster. He follows with the Double R Spinebuster (would that be the BR spinebuster now?) for two. Crimson with a reversal into a roll-up for two. Roode's kick out takes him into an armbar but Crimson gets the ropes. Crimson sends Roode into the corner injured shoulder-first and catches him on the rebound with the Red Sky and that's it.

Winner via pinfall: Crimson

Brian Kendrick is in the ring with Abyss's mask and asks him to come out. Kendrick then goes into a speech that made absolutely no sense to me. Then Abyss starts to beat him up. It's a prolonged beatdown that ends with the Shock Treatment Backbreaker and a Black Hole Slam.

Match #2 - X Division Showcase - Jack Evans vs. Anthony Nese vs. Jesse Sorensen

High-flying effort early as Evans is rolling until he nearly gets decapitated by a clothesline from Nese. Then Sorensen comes in and hits a big flip dive onto Nese on the outside. Then Evans recovers and hits a springboard 450 dive onto both of them. Now Nese hits Evans with a big running knee in the corner but Sorensen breaks up the pin. Sorensen hits the CrossRhodes but Evans gets his foot on the rope. Nese looks for a suplex and just launches him. Nese with a German with a bridge but Evans breaks up the pin with a moonsault.

Evans hits a front suplex off the top on Nese and then hits a 630 splash and that's it. Wow!

Winner via pinfall: Jack Evans

Instead of coming out through the entrance, Velvet comes out from behind and nails both with a chair.

After a brief period where Velvet was able to be in control, the numbers game takes over. But that only lasts for a brief period as well, as Velvet fires up. She goes back-and-forth hitting each of them but an ODB kick to the midsection turns it around. Jackie tells ODB to get the chair. She winds it up but hits Jackie instead. Velvet kicks the chair into ODB's knees, sending her to the outside. Then she hits Jackie with a DDT and that's it.

Uranage for Daniels on Lynn. Lynn hits his move but RVD had blind tagged his way in and RVD came in with the Five Star Frog Splash and that's it.

Now he hits the rapid fire elbows on Devon. He hits the big splash and a side slam for two. Storm in and he goes to work on Devon but Devon elbows hit was out and hits a flying shoulder block. Both men down and Devon brings in Pope.

Storm hits the backcracker on Pope but Morgan breaks up his own man's pin because he wants the points. Devon hits Morgan and Morgan clotheslines both Devon and himself over the top rope. With the referee distracted by Morgan's knee hurting, Pope grabs the title belt and KO's Storm with it. Then he tells Devon to cover Storm and it's seven points for Devon.

Match #6 - Abyss (Parts Unknown), Bully Ray (New York City), Scott Steiner (Detroit, Mich.) & Gunner (Atlanta, Ga.) vs. Kurt Angle (Pittsburgh, Pa.)

Angle was scheduled to be joined by Sting in this match but Hogan took out Sting with a baseball bat backstage prior to the match.

Angle doing surprisingly well early but Steiner takes the ref as Angle has Abyss in the ankle lock and Ray and Gunner come in and beat Angle down. Now he comes the chain from Bully Ray as Immortal chases away the ref. But before he can use it, Mr. Anderson comes out. As Ray is distracted, Angle hits him with an Angle Slam. Anderson standing in Angle's corner looking for the tag and Anderson takes it and starts going wild on Immortal.

Anderson goes for the Mic Check on Bully Ray but instead lets him go and gives it to Angle. Anderson tags Angle back in and Ray pins him.

Winners via pinfall: Immortal

Mass confusion in the ring until Anderson jumps into the arms of Abyss. Now Hogan comes out on the ramp to celebrate. Gunner and Abyss put Anderson on their shoulders.
