Impact: Sting continues to frustrate Hogan
By MATT BISHOP - SLAM! Wrestling

Tonight on Impact Wrestling: As the saga between Hulk Hogan and Sting intensifies, it's the Stinger who continues to get the upper hand on the Hulkster, frustrating him at every turn. Immortal looks to gain a measure of revenge when their new hired gun, Scott Steiner, faces Sting in the main event.

Like usual, tonight's taped show emanates from the Impact Zone in Orlando, Fla. "The Professor" Mike Tenay and The Tazz are our hosts.

Hulk Hogan is meeting with Scott Steiner and welcomes him to Immortal. Then Hogan's music plays and he heads out to the ring.

Hogan calls Mr. Anderson to the ring and out he comes. He says when Sting gets in his face in a few weeks, Anderson can join Immortal and have an army of monsters behind him, or he can go it alone and lose to Sting and lose the title. Anderson says at Slammiversary he dominated Sting all by himself, so he doesn't know why their rematch is going to be any different. Hogan says everybody say Slammiversary and saw Eric Bischoff get involved when Sting would've had a three count on him.

Hogan says Anderson owes them one. Anderson says he doesn't get it.

Then Sting comes up on the big screen beating up Steiner, Bully Ray and Abyss. He says he wants to talk to Hogan. Hogan yells at Anderson and asks if he gets it and then the lights go out and Sting's music hits. The lights come up and he's behind Hogan. He hits him in the knee with the bat and Anderson runs off.

Sting talks to Anderson and then turns his focus to Hogan. He says he was a Hogan mark. He says he wants to get the real Hogan to stand up again. He says he's taking every approach he knows, but maybe he should try something visual. He talks about training, saying prayers and taking vitamins. He sits down with Hogan in the corner and force feeds him vitamins. Then he starts to put him in the Scorpion Death Lock and threatens to sit down on it when Bully Ray, Abyss, Gunner and Steiner come out.

Ray says he's sick of Sting making a mockery of Hogan. Ray says tonight it's going to be Sting against Steiner. Hogan says this is the last time Sting's going to embarrass him and by the end of the night, he's going to wipe the smile off his face.
